Detection of cells in confocal microscopy images
Hubálek, Michal ; Štursa, Dominik (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of the thesis was to create an application that automatically detects healthy cardiomyocytes from images captured by a confocal microscope. The thesis was created based on the specific needs of researchers from the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The application will facilitate and increase the efficiency of their research, because until now they have to evaluate the images and search for suitable cells manually. The RetinaNet convolutional neural network is used for detection and has been implemented in a user-friendly desktop application. The application also automatically records and stores coordinates of detected cells which can be used for capturing cells in higher image quality. Another advantage of the developed application is its versatility, which allows to train detection on other data, making it applicable to other projects. The result of this work is a functional, standalone and intuitive application that is ready to be used by researchers.
Design and computer control of intelligent wiring system Ego-n
Hubálek, Michal ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis addresses the issue of smart wiring for household management. It is focused primarily on the modern system of Ego-n by ABB s.r.o., which is commonly available on the Czech market. It first explains the differences among individual intelligent electrical systems that are used here in our country. These systems are divided into groups and briefly described. This is followed by an introduction into the Ego-n system, formulation of basic principles of the system, its capabilities and applications. Most of the work is focused on the production and "Revival" of the laboratory panel of intelligent electrical set Ego-n. Laboratory panel is to demonstrate the functions of controlling the lighting, blinds, heating and other circuits. Programming of the laboratory panel can be manual or made by computer. For both options there are laboratory instructions written for practicing the various functions. The work also includes budget and a list of materials for the manufacturing of the laboratory panel and its wiring.
Ball position control with airflow using PLC
Hubálek, Michal ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an educational model of air levitation and regulation. The theoretical part introduces the principle of the programmable logic controller of the company B&R Automation. In the next part, methods of measuring distance were described. The main part of the work was the construction of the whole mechanical part. Furthermore, the design of electronics and cabling to connect the model with a programmable controller. The final output is a functional model of air levitation and a tutorial for the subject.
The use of the control system Foxtrot as Building Management System
Hubálek, Michal ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes an intelligent wiring system especially of one’s home. Modern Foxtrot System from TECO, JSC has been examined and done to work. In the first part of the thesis the highly diverse options of the intelligent home system are dealt with. The second part of the thesis treats the concept of Foxtrot System in greater detail. The objective is to describe the use of the control system as well as the advanced automation. The larger part of the diploma thesis deals with a sample laboratory Foxtrot system panel, its draft, functions and construction. The budget for the draft and the construction is created and based on the prices of Foxtrot System components. As for the planned integration of the laboratory panel in education, two laboratory manuals are developed and vary in their control functions. In the first manual Foxtrot System, Mosaic software and push button control panel are introduced to the user. The second one describes how to create a more complicated program that is used to control the system via the web interface computer or Smart phone and are also used buttons.
