The Role of Teaching Assistant at Elementary School

This thesis concerns the cooperation between teacher and teaching assistant (TA) at mainstream elementary school, with the emphasis on perception of TA's presence at the first stage and the second stage of education. It is comprised of two sections. Theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the current concept definition of integrative and inclusive pedagogy, and coherent changes in recent years. The second one outlines the professional approach to TA, with emphasis on their usage at mainstream schools, including their employment abroad. The last chapter targets on mutual relationship of TA and other pedagogical staff, teachers and students themselves. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to mixed research which has two parts. The first one deals with the role of TA at mainstream elementary school focusing on his cooperation with teacher, in terms of a first-stage and second-stage class. For purpose of this part of study was chosen the qualitative research method with the usage of semi-structured in-depth interview. There were selected three respondents with required profiles. Servitudes Abstract The aim of this thesis is to analyse the legal institute of servitudes and its issues, especially focusing on its current legal regulation in the Civil Code and related case law. The thesis deals with the problematic issues that arise in connection with the examined institute and tries to find possible ways of overcoming the flaws of the legal regulation. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first chapter briefly outlines the theoretical concept of servitudes. The second part of the thesis analyses the historical development of servitudes from their beginnings in Roman law, when the foundations of the institution under study were formed and, in many ways, survive to this day. It then continues with an explanation of the codifications regulating servitudes. It continues with an explanation of the codifications regulating easements in the Czech territory from the General Civil Code through the communist codifications of 1950 and 1964, in the latter case the most important amendments are described. Then the reasons for the deletion of the term servitude from the applicable law and its replacement by a superior term covering both servitudes and real burdens, which was the state of law until the adoption of the current Civil Code, are discussed. Development of Population Census in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to complete and assess of available information about the population census in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the development and history of population censuses in our territory. There is also briefly described the importance of the census and the utilization of data and results. Another part of this work is devoted to the last population census, which took place in 2011. Here are described especially major changes and innovations in comparison with some previous censuses. The last practical part of the work is aimed at working time series of the selected indicators based on result from the census of population and households and their subsequent analysis.
Family tragedy in William Styron's Lie Down in Darkness

This thesis deals with complicated family relationships of the main characters in William Styron's first novel Lie Down in Darkness. The Loftises only seemingly make a happy, perfect family. The main characters are Milton and Helen Loftis and their daughter, Peyton. The aim of the thesis to delve into the complicated family relationships and analyze the characters in order to discover the reasons behind this family's tragedy, namely Peyton's suicide. The thesis also introduces William Styron and his first novel that has unfortunately been virtually ignored in the Czech Republic.
