Variable compression ratio for an internal combustion engine
Dragoun, Jan ; Svída, David (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the advantages and disadvantages of structures with variable compression ratio used in the past, present, and realistically applicable in the future depending on the current trend of modern developments in engine design.
Two-cylinder four stroke spark ignition flat engine
Dragoun, Jan ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities for realization of the crankshaft-cylinder four-stroke gasoline engine is flat, usable in the urban vehicle. In the work described stresses exerted on the crank mechanism can balance the crankshaft, torsional stress and strength calculation method of control. In the final part of this work is outlined proposal for implementation of the crankshaft.

The influence of number of visitors on water quality in a public natural swimming pool
Dragoun, Jan ; Vymazal, Jan (advisor) ; Dvořáková Březinová, Tereza (referee)
Abstract The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the habitat, plants that provide clean water, as well as the revitalization of the area devoted to the description of the former wastewater treatment plant in the cadastral Radotín and the legislation subject to the available sources. The practical part describes the operation of the habitat, comparing the number of visitors to the habitat quality of water. In this thesis we evaluate the results of laboratory tests which were evaluated by decree limits no. 238/2011 Sb., on the hygienic requirements for swimming pools, saunas and hygiene limits of sand in sandboxes outdoor playgrounds.

Unconventional monetary policy after the collapse of Lehman Brothers
Dragoun, Josef ; Brůna, Karel (advisor) ; Dvořák, Michal (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on unconventional monetary policy tools that individual central banks introduced into practise as a response to the global financial crisis. It is about quantitative easing policy, foreign exchange interventions with exchange rate commitment and negative interest rates. This thesis also deals with classical tools of monetary policy such as open market operations, discount tools, minimum requirement reserve or foreign exchange interventions. The aim of the thesis is to document the development of central banks policy and then to examine relationship of selected assets in comparison with balance sheet of Federal reserve systems with help of correlation coefficient. The thesis also deals with the thought how should behave in the zero lower bound environment and what are the pitfalls of unconventional monetary policy.
Na Javorce Cave - a new discovery in the Bohemian Karst (Czech Republic): unique example of relationships between hydrothermal and common karstification.
Dragoun, J. ; Žák, Karel ; Vejlupek, J. ; Filippi, Michal ; Novotný, J. ; Dobeš, J.
The Na Javorce Cave is located in the Bohemian Karst, Czech Republic, about 25 km SW of Prague. The cave was formed in vertically dipping layers of Lower Devonian limestone; it is 1,723 m long and 129 m deep, of which 9 m is permanently flooded. The cave is polygenetic, with several clearly separable evolutionary stages. Cavities discovered to date were mostly formed along the tectonic structures of two main systems. One of these systems is represented by vertical faults of generally N-S strike, which are frequently accompanied by vein hydrothermal calcite with crystal cavities. The second fault system is represented by moderately inclined west-dipping faults. Smaller tube-like passages of phreatic morphology connect the larger cavities. The fluid inclusion data obtained for calcite developed along both fault systems in combination with C and O stable isotope studies indicate that the hydrothermal calcite was deposited from moderately NaCl-type basinal fluids (0.5 to 8.7 wt. % NaCl equ
Stock analysis of the NWR
Dragoun, Josef ; Veselá, Jitka (advisor) ; Musílek, Petr (referee)
