CIMBÁLNÍKOVÁ, Eva
The transplantation of bone marrow - more generally said of hematopoietic cells - is in the present time one of the modern therapeutical methods used in cases of malfunction of haematogenesis inside of the bone. The ususal reason for going through with transplantation is leukemia, lymphomas, also anemia, congenital metabolic disorders, autoimmune disorders or some of the solid tumors. Thanks to the transplantation of hematopoietic cells, it is possible to highten the chance of restoration in more than 50 % of patients suffering from oncological disease. The submitted thesis is processed in theoretical form, it is goal is to present the important points leading to progress of this presently very much used treatment and also thorough descripton of present trends in the area of transplantation of hematopoietic cells, that are almost identical in local transplatation centers as they are in the world. Another goal is to describe the role of a general nurse during providing of the care for a patient before and after transplantation of hematopoietic cells. The thesis is focused on the key areas of the issues of transplatation of hematopoietic cells and it is divided into several parts. The first part deals with the general description of the topic, it presents short introduction into the transplantation of hematopoietic cells, the basic division, historical and current indications and short preamble into todays trends. It describes closely the area of the registry of the bone marrow donors, which is the basics for the choosing of the suitable unrelated donor. The second part of the thesis deals with the desciption of historical progress since the very beginnings, through the progress during postwar period, the development of 70s and 80s of the previous century and also the 90s of the 20th century up until the present day. The third part is focused on current methods of collection of hematopoietic cells and following transplatation, it also describes closely the ways of donating hematopoietic cells, the preparation of the patient for transplantation, the course of transplantation and what should the patient prepare for during the early posttransplantation period. The fourth part is focused on nursing, it states thoroughly the role of a nurse in the nursing care before and after transplantation of hematopoietic cells, the principles a nurse has to abide by, and it also closely describes the role of a nurse during transplant application. It also describes dietary and important regimen measures the patient is set to follow after transplantation. The last part is focused especially on complications that are possible after hemopoetic cells transplantation. The necessary data have been obtained through thorough study of professional Czech and foreign monoghraphs and scientific periodicals. The acquisition of the data was significantly contributed to by the attended internsip in Internal hematological and oncological clinic of the Faculty hospital Brno Bohunice. The findings regarding nursing were obtained especially by the study of nursing standards. This thesis points out the important role of transplatation of hemopoetic cells as a method of treatment predominantly of hemooncological illnesses in current medicine and the most important roles of a nurse during the nursing of transplantation patients. The thesis provides a comperehensive overview on the issue of transplants of the hematopoietic cells and describes key areas that are considered as important. Nursing Childcare during Chemotherapeutic Treatment
CIMBÁLNÍKOVÁ, Eva
Current status: Children oncology is a field which has become an important part of medicine and thanks to its development it is possible to heal up to 80% of children oncological patients. In the children oncology, we can meet many kinds of cancer such as Hematopoietic Tissue tumors, Lymphomas and Central nervous system tumors. Children are usually cured using chemotherapy which has not only therapeutically effects, but also unwanted symptoms which decrease the quality of patient lives and can be even dangerous for children. Main aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe the core principles of the nursing childcare during chemotherapy and to set the basic rules concerning the right vein entry care as well as the principles of the right application of medicinal products through venous inlets. Another task is to describe the principles of manipulation with cytostatic and to demonstrate the key role of the nurse during the application of chemotherapy. Methodology: To process this bachelor thesis and to achieve the set aims a qualitative research examination was done while using the technique of secondary analysis of relevant resources. This research included looking for the information concerning the problem in the professional and scientific publications as well as gaining the experience during the internship in the Department of Pediatric Oncology in the Faculty Hospital Brno Results: This thesis describes key principles of the nursing childcare during chemotherapy focused mainly on the possible problems related side effects of cytostatic. The main task of the nurse is to watch a possible occurrence of these effects and to provide a careful nursing care. The nurse must always adapt the care to the current health condition and needs of the patient. Each child is individual and reacts differently to the cure. It is necessary during the chemotherapy to prevent from a possible infection by a very careful barrier nursing care. The task of the nurse is also to provide children and parents with a psychological support, to educate about the treatment regime in her competence, to ensure the safe cytostatic use while watching their effect and possible complications as well as to take a complex care of venous inlets. The thesis also finds out the right rules of the safe manipulations with cytostatic. The main rule during each manipulation is to protect your own health by using the protective equipment such as special Nitrile gloves, oral veils etc. and to work according to the rules of the safe manipulation with cytostatic which are available in each oncological department. Conclusions: This research work is treated as a theoretical overview work and its main benefit is presenting the theoretical knowledge about the oncology nursing childcare while describing a very important part of the nurse taking care of children oncological patients. The nurse must have a lot of both theoretical and practical knowledge which she uses during the nursing care. The results of this research should provide both professional and lay public enough information about the children oncology.

Launch of a new brand into commodity market
Haindl, Zbyněk ; Postler, Milan (advisor) ; Cimbálníková, Eva (referee)
My thesis focused on the launch of new brand into commodity markets. Analysing the case study "Nestlé Coffee-mate launch into Czech and Slovak Republics" the thesis created the strategy of entering the market commonly valid for branded goods fighting the increasing power of the private labels. The main goal of the thesis was (not) to recommend Nestlé Česko, s.r.o. to enter Czech and Slovak markets. I made up particular marketing mix studying the commodity market of powdered coffee creamer category in connection with the consumer. Consequently I proposed communication strategy and communication mix. To verify the launch itself I used market test called minimarkets. Minimarkets actually took place at the end of 2008. The market test resulted into my recommendation not to launch Coffee-mate into Czech and Slovak Republic. Key indicators and expectations, so much important for the success of the launch iteself, have not been met during the testing. However, due to the methodologies selected within the thesis, the strategy how to enter the commodity market seems to be applicable onto different commodity categories. Therefore it may be used as a hint during a planning process for new competitive strategies of various brands defending themselves from the private labels.
