The bachelor’s thesis deals with problems of internal directives in company Kili, s.r.o. Mainly it focuses on directives for stocktaking of assets and circulation of accounting documents. The target of the thesis is concept of specific internal directives which will abide by actual valid legislation and regulations and which defines and ensures the same procedures for methods of performance stocktaking of assets and circulation of accounting documents in whole company.

The Proposal of a New Market Entry Strategy

In the master’s thesis is presented a draft marketing strategy of entering to new geographic market for the company Kili, s.r.o., which sells materials for the manufacture of furniture, equip interior and construction. The objective of the thesis is to develop a proposal to open a new branch in selected location including a description of the marketing mix. The proposed section will be preceded by a summary of theoretical knowledge and analysis of the contemporary conditions of the company, focusing on internal and external business environment.

The subject of my diploma thesis is acquisition, selection and recruitment of workers in selected company. The first part focuses on the description of the theoretical knowledge gained from literature. There are defined concepts, methods, and procedures the issue. The second part characterizes selected company described its business area and there is a detailed analysis of the company employees. This section also focuses on the current system of acquisition, selection and recruitment of staff. The final section includes proposed amendments and recommendations in selected areas that will improve the efficiency of the system.

Economic analysis of the chosen enterprise

The subject of this diploma thesis on topic "Economic analysis of the chosen company" is the assessment of the economic performance of MOIRA CZ, a.s. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the situation assess with respect to its financial health, economic performance and future viability. The first part of my thesis is devoted to approaches to economic analysis and its methods, in the second part is analysed the economic situation of the chosen company. The starting point for practical part are financial statements and their analysis using horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of relative and financial ratios, or creditworthy and bankruptcy models. Further the DuPont analysis and analysis of he Economic Value Added (EVA) are applied. In conclusion are summarized the results of economic analysis and set out proposals for action that could lead to increased economic performance of the company.

Effect of chemical composition of plant litter on the rate of its decomposition in wetland ecosystems

This thesis is part of Project No. P504/11/1151 "Role of plants in the greenhouse gas budget of a sedge fen". It is focused on the assessment of decomposition of litter for selected graminoid dominants of wetlands. The decomposition rate was estimated using the litter bag method. The litter bags were filled with dead aboveground biomass of (Carex acuta), (Glyceria maxima) and (Phalaris arundinacea). The samples were exposed to conditions of two wetland sites, Mokré louky and Zábkatské louky, for one year. The samples were analysed for contents of main carbon fractions before and after the exposition.

Evaluation of sensory quality of milk products by instrumental and sensory analysis

Sensory quality of dairy products is nowadays a very important product quality evaluation and is among the oldest. The analysis comprises the evaluation of color, aroma and flavor, texture. A comparison of sensory and instrumental analysis of milk products was made. Based on the obtained data it was evaluated that the sensory analysis is still an indispensable part and a device that could replace human sensory perception has not been developed yet.

Analysis of the approach to corporate social responsibility in comparison with the requirements of GRI standard

The Master's thesis deals with the analysis of performance requirements of the standard GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) in selected companies. Standard GRI is considered as an internationally recognized tool for creating reports on corporate social responsibility (CSR). The theoretical part is initially focused on the characteristics of the concept of corporate social responsibility and the included areas, afterwards it describes variety of options how to assess CSR activities. The largest space is devoted to the GRI standard and its most current version of guidelines for reporting G3.1. These guidelines are the background for analysis and evaluation of CSR reports. The result of the analysis is to find shortages and to summarize important steps which should be a guide for companies how to approach to the reporting in better and more efficient way.

Dynamics of plant species composition of a wet grassland

Thesis is focused on the dynamics of species composition of a herbaceous wetland in relation to environmental factors. It represents a continuation of study carried out by Hovorková in her Bc. and MSc. Theses (Hovorková 2007, 2010). Within the frame of this thesis a long-term vegetation monitoring was established in a model wetland (Mokré louky near Třeboň) using the method of permanent plots. Phytosociological relevés were taken on 24 June 2011 and 30 September 2011. The results of phytosociological relevés from summer and autumn 2011 were compared with results of preceding research on the locality.

At first, the study on "Historical aspects of globalization and its selected consequences", is focused on various approaches to the definition of globalization, which differs in different branches of science. The second part deal with the evolution of the proces of globalization in connection with important historical events. In selected consequences are included food and population problems. These issues are viewed from two perspectives, in particular, from perspective of poor countries and from perspective of developed countries. This division is chosen because the characteristics of such problems in distant countries like this are absolutely different.
