Analysis of drug administration by nurses in a health facility X Author: Kateřina Blažková Tutor: PharmDr. Martin Doseděl, Ph.D. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction and aims: Currently, patients are treated primarily through pharmacotherapy. As a consequence of this fact, an ever-increasing incidence of medication errors can be expected. Medication errors and the resulting adverse events can have adverse consequences for the patient and, consequently, for the entire healthcare system. The aim of this study was to analyse the whole process of drug administration by nurses in inpatient wards in a South Bohemian hospital. Methods: This thesis is part of an ongoing research project involving the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University. The first data collection took place in 2021, followed by interventions towards nurses, doctors and hospital management. The data collection for this work was similarly conducted using the direct observation method for three consecutive days from 2 to 5 May 2022. Using a trained multidisciplinary team consisting of a pharmacist and a nurse, the internal medicine, surgery and aftercare departments were observed. In her bachelor's thesis, the author will focus on working with the photographs of her family archive, which she uses in her artistic practice. This archive depicts the author's past. In her work, the author will subjectively reflect on the possibilities of perceiving pictorial memories as two separate, ephemeral realities for which we cannot confirm or deny their reality. At the same time, she wants to avoid the possible patheticness that working with archives tends to lead to, which is why she will use more media than just a single photograph. The artistic space he will create should serve for subjective contemplation of the pictorial medium whose affinity between reality and a certain interiority denies the exclusivity of only one reality. It accentuates here a kind of leaving a trace whose stratification refers to the psychological development of the personality in its inherent features. The aim of the work will be a multimedia installation using not only the aesthetics of original cinema films.This opens up the possibility of working with the film material itself, as a carrier of visual information, as well as its digital copy. The subsequent combination of these media will bring the viewer closer to the intimate interior of the artist herself. The work will be realized in a gallery environment, but it can also be set in a less formal setting.

The bizarre sensation of real

This work explores the subjective nature of reality. Our view of reality evolves with our surroundings and shapes our unique image of the world. Although a complete escape from reality seems unattainable, we try to look for moments in which we might slow down in an endless stream of events and phenomenons. One of these is the induction of relaxation, which acts as a temporary release from physical and mental stress, even if the actual escape is only temporary. By incorporating works into this space that carry with them a certain disturbing element, I seek to provoke an uncertainty or surprise in the viewers . The work creates situations that confront viewers with an unexpected experience in a seemingly relaxing environment. Which is induced by the appearance of the objects.

Nursing Care at a Standard Covid Unit from the Point of View of the Patient

This Bachelor thesis describes nursing care in a standard covid unit from a patient's perspective. The following research questions have been identified with regard to the thesis: 1. How do nursing care patients in a standard covid unit feel? 2. What needs do patients who have been hospitalized in a standard covid unit describe? 3. What information do patients lack from nurses related to Covid-19 disease during hospitalization in a standard covid unit? In the theoretical part, we deal with Covid-19 disease, the description of nursing care in the standard covid unit, the identification of changes in the needs of patients in this unit and the awareness of patients about Covid-19 disease. The practical part lectures research from covid units from hospitals of the district or county type. For the research part, a qualitative method was selected in the form of semi-structured interviews in which patients after covid-19 disease were interviewed. The data obtained was processed by the open-coding method using the pencil-paper technique. The results are divided into 3 categories. The first category deals with mapping of nursing care from the patient's perspective. It maps the regime at the covid unit, the nursing interventions, as well as the assessment of the stay by the patient. The second category describes meeting patients' needs. It outlines the patient's experience of having to be in isolation and the needs described by patients during hospitalization. The third category maps patients' awareness of the disease and provides a look at the information they lacked in relation to the disease. Based on the information gathered, it is possible to see how nursing care is carried out in patients in covid units, but also where there are gaps and room for improvement. The results can be applied in practice to improve care or serve as a source of information for nursing students.

Vztah revitalizací vodních toků a rekreace v krajině

This thesis explores the relationship between the revitalization of watercourses and recreation in the countryside. The literature search analyses and describes the issue of the modification of watercourses in the urban landscape, and discusses the examples of good and worst practice of implementation in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. The practical part characterises the model locality of the Blanice River in Vlašim. The recreation effect of the revitalizations carried out is evaluated in the model locality and other selected examples of rivers in the Czech Republic and it also includes the public preferences method the questionnaire survey method, guided interview method, which focuses on the awareness of the population about the modifications of the watercourses. Using SWOT analysis, the factors of external and internal environment of the recreation potential are determined in the model locality. Based on the findings, the conclusion of the paper suggests some measures for improving the recreational conditions in the model locality.

The Regional Museum's Work with the Public

The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the marketing communications of museums in the Czech Republic, demonstrate it with a specific example and propose an effective manner of communication and possible improvement measures. The theoretical part explains the basic terms of marketing and specifics of museum marketing a possibilities of museums in their publicity and further work with the public. The practical part shows the problematics of museums' marketing and work with the public in the Czech Republic, the current situation and possible suggestions for improvement. The information for the research come from a survey performed in the T.G.M. Museum Rakovník, which served as a case study.
