Time perspective and procrastination in college students

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the time orientation of students of higher education institutions in the Czech Republic and to examine the links of the relevant perspective to the degree of the procrastinational behavior of the individual. The theoretical framework of the thesis focuses on a comprehensive presentation of the time perspective concept, especially in terms of the multidimensional approach of P. Zimbard, including the relevant diagnostic tool. Furthermore, the thesis describes the current phenomenon of procrastination in the concept of individual psychological directions and specific forms of procrastination. Based on the synthesis of the above-mentioned concepts, the study describes previous studies dealing with the interrelationships of procrastination and the creation of timeframes, whose specific elements represent the meritorious content of an empirical study of this work. For the correlation research, an extended version of the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory questionnaire is used in the time perspective, which, unlike previous research, will allow a detailed analysis of the potential presence of completely new relationships. Irrationality in the decision- making of an individual as an economic entity in the territory of the Czech Republic

The main objective of this thesis is an in-depth analysis of the decision-making process on issues of economic nature for individuals in the Czech Republic. The degree of rationality occurring in consumer behavior is evaluated based on lessons learned. The theoretical section is concerned with the economic aspect of the decision-making process, which mainly includes knowledge of neoclassical theory, whose basis is the cardinal and ordinal concept of utility maximization. Subsequently there are introduced the alternative approaches to decision making, focusing on the subjective aspects of human reasoning. Using the mutual synthesis of these approaches, the author draws a term behavioral economics, specific elements of which constitute a substantive content of the whole work. The practical section verifies the hypothesis that the decision-making contradicts the theory of rational individual conduct. Data collected through the questionnaire is subjected to analytical procedures by which the stated hypothesis was verified.

ISIC Marketing strategy in Czech Republic and Canada

Práce se zabývá světem průkazů ISIC a jejich fungování ve dvou různých státech. Autor využívá svých zkušeností ze svého působení na českém a kanadském trhu, a proto přináší na problematiku unikátní pohled, podpořený svou zkušeností. V praktické části pak předkládá návrh strategie pro zavedení průkazů ISIC na kanadském trhu. Čtenáři tak předkládá ucelený prohled na strategii dvou odlišných společností, které však vydávají stejný produkt, který je součástí života čtvrt milionu studentů v ČR. The final thesis is focusing on marketing strategy of ISIC cards in two different countries. Author is using his experience that he gained as Project Manager for ISIC Czech Republic and also ISIC Canada. In the final part it is proposing the strategy for ISIC within high schools in Canada. Therefore the thesis is showing unique view on the strategy of two different companies selling the same product.

The sales strategy of ISIC/ITIC by company GTS Alive

This thesis is analyzing sales and marketing strategy by company GTS Alive that is the only company that can issue ISIC, ITIC and IYTC identification cards in the Czech Republic. The author is analyzing current strategy and situation in the student's cards market. In the conclusion, he is proposing new modified strategy for the company.
