Self-assessment of teacher students' knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies

The aim of this thesis was to ascertain the self-assessment of university students with various specializations, in their knowledge of information and communication technology (ICT). The theoretical part concerns with self-assessment as concept and methods pertaining to its verification. It also contains a detailed description of the anchoring vignettes method with its application in specific areas. Also discussed is the Overclaiming Technique. An evaluation has been conducted in the empirical part, which elaborates on self-assessment of ICT terms of various groups of students. Anchoring vignettes method is used in order to amend said self-assessment. Aforementioned part of the thesis also contains the use of overclaiming technique in practise, which is demonstrated on a specifically devised questionnaire. In this questionnaire, the students were asked to evaluate their level of understanding both existing and non-existing terms from the ICT area. The results have shown that there are significant differences between the questioned groups of students. The numbers indicate that students of ICT have a greater tendency to exaggerate the level of their knowledge in the area of information and communication technologies. Much more so than students who specialize in different subject.

Austrian Green Party and its role in Austrian fight against Nuclear Power Plant Temelín

Bachelor thesis Austrian Green Party and its role in Austrian fight against Nuclear Power Plant Temelín concerns relationship between Austrian Federation and the Czech Republic within the field of the nuclear industry; namely it concerns the situation around the building and lately planned completion of constructing of the Czech nuclear power plant Temelín. Primarily, the thesis tries to analyse an Austrian green party Die Grünen - Die grüne Alternative attitude and its communication of the Temelín problematic in years 2004-2013, when both countries have been member countries of the European Union. At first, thesis introduces the issue and main participants. At the very beginning it describes Temelín building itself, including the fear connected with its building and lately with its existence and completion. After that it summarizes the development of Austrian Greens and it analyses their party materials in which we can find anti-nuclear topics. Then it describes attitude of the main Austrian political parties to a nuclear theme. In the crucial part it also analyses, except the communication of Die Grünen on federal and supranational level, the behaviour of the local Green Party offices in individual Austrian lands and evaluated their orientation towards Temelín. Prevention of crime within the city of Kladno

This diploma thesis deals with the crime prevention in the Czech Republic, particularly within the region of the Statutory town of Kladno. The introductory part includes the explanation of relevant terms related to criminality, and the criminality connections outline, criminology and crime prevention. This is followed by the analysis of legal norms, strategic documents, aims and crime prevention priorities at national and regional levels. Individual crime prevention management levels are described and staffing for crime prevention with the focus on Kladno Municipality is analysed. At municipal level the organisational changes caused by the need of preventive measures integration within the authority of Kladno are taken into consideration. The thesis also outlines the potential of synergic crime prevention impacts alongside the solution of social exclusion in the area of Kladno; current situation is reviewed. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the project plans for crime prevention in the period of 2009-2013. Social, economic and ethical aspects are analysed. Title: Individual ski lesson of preschool children Targets: The target of diploma work is on base of observation the interaction of ski instructor or parent and pupil to show, which kind of ski lesson is more appropriate for preschool age. Method of diploma work: In this work I used attended observation and controlled conversation. During attended observation I have taken notices progress of ski lesson to my beforehand prepared table with fixed criterions (age of child, sort of teacher, duration of teaching lesson, length of slope, kind of terrain, teaching methods, way of snowplough practice, correction of mistakes, communication during teaching lesson). I used controlled conversation after the end of lesson and the conversation was led with parent of child and instructor. Controlled conversation was composed from open questions. During conversation I used questions regarding experience or behaviour, knowledge and perception. Result: Establishing of the first contact of a teacher and a child was performed only during instructor lesson. The instructor had to get child to his side. Between parent and child hasn't been first contact. During the lesson there was communication only between the teacher and the child. Instructor tried to communicate with child during whole lesson. Family mediation

The aim of this thesis is to describe the application of family mediation during divorce and post-divorce proceedings. The first part analyzes the potential problems presented to the family as a result of divorce. Next the principles and processes of mediation are described. The aim of the research section is to map out the application of mediation in the Czech Republic - to what degree is this service utilized in individual regions and what is how well informed are the social workers of the mediation.
