E-learning in public service

In the era of post-industrial society/world knowledge becomes ever more important source of wealth. This process is being reflected by public service. Part of the changes in the public service is also the term 'e-learning', alias education supported by web technologies. This new method is currently expanding also into the area of civil servants education and therefore I have decided to write my diploma thesis on "E-learning in public service". The aim of the thesis is above all to analyse current civil servants' in the public service education, to explain the term of e-learning, and last but not least to controvert or confirm the hypothesis whether the e-learning way of education of public servants has a chance to spread or even make it to the top of preferred forms of education.

Stimulation of employees as a part of social services management (surveying of stimulation instruments in selected non-profit organisations)

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám problematikou stimulace pracovníků v sociálních službách. Stimulace představuje významnou oblast řizeni lidských zdrojů; je součásti celého řizeni (managementu) organizace. Člověk je nejcennějšim zdrojem jakékoliv instituce. V organizacích, které poskytuji sociální služby, jsou pracovnici zdrojem klíčovým, protože právě oni realizuji cile a posláni organizace, a to vedle dalších činnosti především v podobě přimé práce s klienty. Působeni v sociálních službách svým charakterem patři mezi velmi namáhavé profese, neboť v přimé práci s klienty se pracovnici denně setkávají s nelehkými životními osudy, jež se jich lidsky dotýkají, a tak se často se musi vyrovnávat s emočně náročnými a vypjatými situacemi. Charakter jejich práce vyžaduje porozuměni a ochotu naslouchat problémům a potřebám druhých a nepřetržitou připravenost na kontakt s klienty. To vše čini jejich práci mimořádně psychicky náročnou. Pokud organizace chce poskytovat kvalitní služby na profesionální úrovni, měla by též kvalitně a profesionálně pečovat o své pracovníky. Právě z výše uvedených důvodů považuji problematiku stimulace pracovníků v sociálních službách za téma, které si zasluhuje pozornost. Pracovnici potřebuji být ve své činnosti dostatečně podporováni a motivováni k odváděni kvalitní práce. Management...

Education model of "Social justice" in service teacher education

Svou diplomovou práci jsem uvedla citátem Zdeňka Kratochvíla: "Výchova vede k dospělosti: vede ke svobodě a odpovědnosti, ke schopnosti orientovat se v bohatství různých možných pohledů na svět." Lidské společenství je více diversifikované, než si jedinec dovede představit. Je zřejmě velmi obtížné, aby člověk našel správnou cestu, která směřuje k vlastní svobodě spojené s odpovědností a zároveň stejnou míru svobody přiznává druhým - ale i od nich očekává dostatečnou míru odpovědnosti. Jsem přesvědčena, že svoboda i odpovědnost otevírají možnost k řešení otázek, jimiž jsem se zabývala a které vyúsťují v ústřední téma mé práce ve výchovu a vzdělávání pro sociální spravedlnost.

Czechoslovak diplomat Robert Flieder

Robert Flieder ranked among the czechoslovakien diplomats, which took part on establishment on Czechoslovakien diplomacy. After his study in the Faculty of Law in Prague he became his carier as official on Prague municipal authorities, during it he try to habilitate in the Charles Univerzity. At the end of the first World war he become the Secretary of Czech association in Wien. After the establishment of the independent Czechoslovakia he took part in the likvidation ofunion with Austrian-Hungrian Empire. After that he entered diplomatic service. During his diplomatic carier he worked as a czechoslovakien Ambassador in Switzerland (1921 - 1924), in Poland (1924-1927), in Sweden, in Norway and Litvuania (1927-1930), in Yugoslavia (1930-1933) and in Spain and Portugal (1935-1937). After his return to Prague he become the head of the legal department in the Ministry of Foreign Affaires. After German occupation he was entrusted with liquidation of the Ministry. After that in 1941 he was sent to retirement. For his resistence activity he was sent before the end of the war to prison., he was taken iIl and for the healthy reasons he didnt return back after the war to active servi ce. After the year 1948 he was oppressed and was not permited actively worked. This sigmatized the end of his life.

Low-cost Business Intelligence Solution for Small and Medium Business

This thesis is concerned with use of business intelligence in small and medium business. The main issue is to find such solutions, which are suited to needs and requirements of this type of business. The most suitable method of implementation of business intelligence is according to outputs of this thesis a development of own solution in low costs. On the contrary integrated solutions delivered by the big players on this market are too complex and very expensive for small and medium business. Web-based and SaaS solutions are interesting to these companies, but their support and provided services are not in sufficient level in Czech Republic. To reach all these goals there were analyzed information focused on possibilities and needs of small and medium business and consequently was performed analysis of business intelligence market. The gained outputs were verified in practical part, which is based on project of implementation of business intelligence solution to specific small company. Resources for the final figure of this project are mainly the interviews with shareholder. The main contributions of this thesis are previously mentioned analysis and project of implementation of business intelligence solution. By the help of these studies was found a suitable way, how to implement a business intelligences solution to small and medium business in low costs. Another contribution is in gained opinions and points of view of managers of these companies on implementation of business intelligence.

Commercialization in Microfinance

This thesis is focused on commercialization in microfinance. Particularly on one of its possible negative impacts - the mission drift. Microfinance could be described as a useful financial tool that makes it possible to provide banking services, usually small loans and deposits, to rural poor people who live in places where it is hard to access the traditional banking sector. Commercialization of microfinance institutions means that the MFIs seek for commercial ways of funding. This usually happens when, for instance, some of the microfinance NGOs transforms into regulated commercial entity. Mission drift is then a situation when the microfinance institutions (MFIs) commercialize and abandon some of their poorest clients in order to pursuit some non-social goal such as sustainability or profitability. Therefore the MFIs drift from their original mission which is usually to fight the poverty. So far, there has not been conducted a lot of research on this topic. Furthermore, neither the microfinance experts agree with each other about the existence of mission drift. Therefore the main goal of this thesis is to closer inspect the mission drift on data from the MIX database. To do this we have used the regression analysis, combined with analysis of historical performance of the observed MFIs.

Priest as an administrator of the Divine secrets (the three tasks of a priest) The objective of this thesis is to specify the tasks of priests according to the 2nd Vatican Council, particularly according to the decree on the ministry and life of priests Presbyterorum ordinis, articles 4 - 6 about the three tasks of priests i. d. to teach, to sanctify and to guide. The author deals at first with the theology of priesthood from the point of view of the New Testament and then he is concerned with the theology of priesthood at the 2nd Vatican Council, the common priesthood and the sacerdotal ministry that is represented in many spheres of the public life. The main par of the thesis contains three chapters, each of which is devoted to one of the tasks of a priest. The thesis aimis to point out the three sacerdotal tasks that are complementary to each other, that create unity and make a link between bishop and priests in their work for the salvation of all people. The proposal of the conception of the training center of rescue service in South Bohemian Region
MÁLKOVÁ, Michaela
The Bachelor thesis concerning "The proposal of the conception of the training center of rescue service in South Bohemian Region" is of a theoretical and empirical character. The theoretical part is devoted to the training of emergency workers of South Bohemia Rescue Service, both in terms of medical workers´ lifelong learning according to legislation as well as in terms of the adaptation process. The theme is introduced by the characterization of these professionals´ scope of activity and their personality traits. In general didactic principles, methods of adult education and motivation factors for further education are discussed. The most important educational events concerning the field of emergency medicine are also included in the text. The empirical part presents South Bohemian region Medical Rescue Service as an organization and Educational training center that is its integral part and for the purpose of this work it is the subject of the research. By means of evaluation questionnaires including open questions participants had the opportunity to evaluate and comment the organization, processing and the level of educational events. Based on the results of the investigation a draft concept of the Education and Training Center of Emergency Medical Services of South Bohemia was designed which aims to address the needs of learners and in another methodical process at the organization level respond to them in an adequate way.

Building services of near zero energy buildings

Master´s thesis is focusing on zero energy building with technical equipment. The building was built in 70. decade of last century. It has been using for sport and cultular events until these days. Restaurant was connected to sport hall. First part is focusing on zero energy building and technical equipment, their using, combination and optimal connecting in systém. Second part solving how many fotovoltaic panels must be in the system to reching economic advantage. In third part is solving how to connecting fotovoltaic panels to the system.
