Polyfunctional building
Michna, Patrik ; Pospíšil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fuciman, Ondřej (advisor)
The assignment of my diploma thesis was to design a polyfunctional building. Function of the building is based on the requirements of the Land Use Plan Brno, cadastral zone Židenice. The aim of the design was to improve the quality of public space in the area by creating parks, urban parterre with services, parking and by bringing missing features to the area. The building is located in the centre of the plot. The main facade is oriented to the main street. Design creates new parking on the ground and in the underground garage. On the first floor are rentable spaces for commerce and services. At 2nd and 3rd floor are open space offices with the possibility of spatial variability solutions. Architectural expression of the building is simple, consisting as a compact mass with parterre subsided, useful in terms of energetical sustainability. The facade of the building is made as a combination of a transparent double skin facade and opaque ventilated facade with fibre cement panels. Structural system is a precast concrete frame with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete shear core. Foundation is made as a reinforced concrete pads and strips. Ceiling is made of a precast prestressed hollow core slabs.

Generic Unpacker of Executable Files
Milkovič, Marek ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Matula, Peter (advisor)
Executable files packing is a process used for compression or protection of these files. The behavior of the packed executable file is difficult to analyze, therefore the packed file needs to be unpacked at first. This work deals with the design and implementation of a generic unpacker that is part of the decompilation chain in the AVG's Retargetable Decompiler. The goal of this work is to create the generic unpacker of executable files, which would be easily extensible, platform and architecture independent, and its ouput would be decompilable. The heuristic analyses are proposed and implemented to achieve the decompilability of the ouput. The results are comparable with the other unpackers used in practice.

The practical part presents the tunneling protocols in three different scenarios which are very frequent in practice. Each scenario has been realized, the communication has been captured using Wireshark network protocol analyzer and also the analysis of potential risks has been done for the event that the communication would be captured by a third party - the regulator.

The theory of optimal currency areas: regional aspects
Ubry, Michael ; Šíma, Ondřej (advisor) ; Pour, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with the theory of optimal currency areas which was used to analyse regions in Czech Republic. This analysis is based on three criteria: mobility of production factors, economic openness and diversification of production. The main goal of this thesis was to find out whether there are regions of the Czech Republic which are prepared for monetary integration concerning the acceptance of the euro and whether they can create an optimal currency area with other regions. Results of analysis show that Czech Republic is not an optimal currency area. However, it is still beneficial to have one single currency in this territory because of the lower transaction costs and sovereignty of a country. Assuming only economic and theoretical view, existence of regional currencies would bring more costs than benefits for certain regions. Results of thesis also indicate that not every single region will be an appropriate candidate for joining Eurozone.
