Study of influence of input parameters for the numerical modeling of the compression test
Polách, Marek ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Lehký, David (advisor)
The thesis analyses influence of input parametres of the 3D Non Linear Cementitious 2 material model for the numerical modeling of compression test performed in ATENA 2D and ATENA 3D software. The aim is to identify parametres with considerable influence and subsequently replicate the load-deflection curve obtained from laboratory compression test by numerical modeling. The effects of selected model and material model settings are studied on three kind of models in total. As tools for analyzing the effects, deterministic and statistic sensitivity analyses were chosen. Parametres with significant influence will be highlighted and added to the group of parametres obtained from numerical modeling of three-point bending test. This will create a set of parametres of considerable influence when it comes to modeling advanced structures with different types of stresses.

Prestressed bridge in Velké Pavlovice
Stloukal, Radim ; Růžička, Stanislav (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to design a bridge construction over the river Trkmanka in the municipality Velké Pavlovice. The superstructure is designed as a prestressed one field slab bridge with the length of 16,85m. As a part of this thesis there is enclosed structural analysis calculated accordingly to ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The load effects were calculated by Scia Engineer and compared with manual calculation. The rest of the calculations are done manually and ocassionally compared to engineering software. The construction has been analysed for the ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state and the stress anchors have been designed.

Lapped scarf joints for repairs of historical structures
Kunecký, Jiří ; Fajman, P. ; Hasníková, Hana ; Kuklík, P. ; Kloiber, Michal ; Sebera, V. ; Tippner, J.
This guideline presents a description of the repair of timber structures using a prosthesis scarf joint designed for the replacement of damaged parts of beams. This new scarf joint makes use of the strutting effect of inclined contact faces where the forces are transmitted through wooden coupling elements - wooden dowels or keys. The scarf can be modified in four variants according to the relevant stress and is suitable for historically valuable timber structures. It meets both functional and aesthetic requirements. The designer - structural engineer will learn in the methods the load bearing capacity or stiffness of the beam with the designed joint, its recommended dimensions and detailed geometry. The contractor will appreciate the description of the execution and maintenance of the joint.

Protection of goods in logistics
Mizuňová, Michaela ; Cimler, Petr (advisor) ; Hommerová, Dita (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of external risk factors consequences on goods regard to its characteristics, length and complexity of transport chains in national and international transport. This thesis looks at the methods of protection of goods together with process of loading, reloading, unloading, packaging, labelling, stowing and securing of goods for transportation, storage and handling. In the end it deals with the logistics chain of chocolate and its raw materials pointing at stress risks and its protection. The first chapter describes the significance of international transport and it defines goods characteristics, external risk factors and transport chains. The second chapter deals with technologies in logistics. The third and fourth chapter study packaging and system of protection. The fifth chapter contains information about cargo stowing and securing in means of transport. The last chapter deals with logistics chain of chocolate and its raw materials, starting with growing cocoa beans in Africa and ending in Czech retail store.

The Historical Survey and the Current Trends of Total Hip Replacement
Bukovský, Petr ; Janíček, Přemysl (referee) ; Skalka, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the historical development of total hip replacement, prothesis used in current surgical practice, materials review, and artificial acetabulum load analysis. FEM system ANSYS will be use to analyze three-dimensional model. The result of ANSYS simulation is strain-stress displayed to compile the acetabulum.

The lifting platform for europalletes
Dvořák, Pavel ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor thesis solves a design of the lifting platform for euro-pallets. The main content of the thesis is the design dimensions of the lifting table, design and calculation of the lift drive and stress calculations of some loaded parts of the structure. The thesis includes an appendix with assembly drawing of the lifting platform and assembly drawing of the table frame.

Analysis of annual training cycle disabled with dyskinetic form of Children's cerebral palsy class F32
Štýbr, René ; Jebavý, Radim (referee) ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor)
Thesis title: Analysis of annual training cycle of athlete disabled with dyskinetic form ofChildren's cerebral palsy class F32. Objective of the thesis: The main objective of this Thesis was an analysis of annual training cycle 2006/2007 in throwing the discus and ball of an athlete disabled with dyskinetic form ofChildren's cerebral palsy class F32. Method: To fulfil the objective ofthe thesis I used bibliographic search of professional literature, Czech and foreign internet references and own observation of an intentionally chosen individua!. In this respect I worked with content analysis method, evaluated efficiency oftraining load, volume, intensity and character ofgeneral and selected special training indices and stress load. Static and graphical representation of collected data with subsequent evaluation was done with regard to the objective ofthe thesis. Outcomes: Based on collected and evaluated values of general and selected special training indices I came to the following conclusion: volume, intensity of training load, character of selected indices of special preparation, quality of sports training, its variety, professional guidance and quality background participate in the growth of sports peďormance. Sports peďormance grew upon decrease of strength values of particular training...

Fatigue tests of a model of fock-pin fitting of blades
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Balda, Miroslav ; Fröhlich, Vladislav
Speciments, made out of X12Cr13 materialy were tested for fatigue life. The specimen was loaded by a static axial form and simultanously by a harmonic lateral force generating bending stress on the blade root. The goal of tests was to obtain S-N curve of the gover structure.

Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players
Koskuba, Jakub ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players Subject: Male and female tennis players from tennis club Tj Lokomotiva Plzen Objective: Compare immediate influence of static and dynamic stretching on performance level during particular movement tests using device Myotest PRO Methods: To meet the objective quantitative comparison was used by performance parameters using load accelerometer. Quantitative stress parameters were evaluated for individual tests as the mean value from a large amount of repetition in individually evaluation. Results: Tests proved it is not possible to confirm acute positive influence of dynamic stretching on all assesed parameters in different tests. In terms of average values of different tests a noticeable lower limbs improvement has been emerged at two out of three tests. Keywords: dynamic stretching, warm up, sport, injuries, regeneration, tennis

Work Life Balance
Vítová, Dominika ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor) ; Kopecký, Martin (referee)
This Master's Thesis focuses on topic of harmonization of work and personal life, as the essential condition for work and life satisfaction of employees. The attention is paid to the facts and factors that influence the perception of harmonization of these two major spheres of influence. Examples include recent changes in paid work in the form of increased demands on work performance, flexibility and resistance to stress. These changes are mainly caused by the development of modern information technologies that make it difficult to determine fixed boundaries between work and leisure, but they also represent an opportunity for new ways of organizing working hours. In this respect, there are also mentioned possible ways of arranging work in the form of alternative work loads, which may become a useful tool for reconciling work and family life for parents on maternity or parental leave, who are most concerned with the harmonization of professional and personal life, as well as the whole family life.
