Present Trade Policy of the European Union

The purpose of my bachelor's thesis is to appraise and describe present trade policy (PTP) of the European Union. Moreover there are cleared up all the principles of operating of institutions, rules and regulations that are part of the PTP. The first charter is about history of European Community and other institutions which are connected to PTP. The second charter is describing in detail intra-EU trade and four fundamental freedoms that form the trade. These freedoms are: free movement of goods, services, persons and capital. The third charter is occupied with business relations with third countries and preferential agreements concluded with them. The last chapter is about Czech Republic and changes which are connected to EU accession and PTP. Conclusion contains all the information and facts, which are summarized and described the consequences of the present trade policy.

The application of the QFD method in the selected organization

The aim of this Master's Thesis is to propose improvement of the process of providing selected service, specifically serving food in the AV Gastro canteen located in the University of Economics, Prague Žižkov, for customers using the method Quality Function Deployment (QFD abbreviated), converts customer requirements into measurable indicators and set improved values. The interviewing technique based on use of questionnaires in written and electronic form was used to disclose customer requirements. One step of this method is the technical competitive assessment of functional requirements, the mystery shopping method was used for this. The graphical output of this method is the set of matrices called the house of quality. Various measures including the outline of associated costs were proposed based on outputs of QFD.

Process analysis of utilizing ERP applications

We are living at times, when information became one of the most – if not the most – required “product”. All the companies which want to survive, be productive and effective on the market sooner or later understand the value of information systems. In the near past a well configured and stable IS was an advantage, this is not the case nowadays. The competition is ruthless and managers realized that specialized information systems are needed to stay in the game. Because of these systems covers the complete company’s business they are extremely complex and without appropriate support they would be almost completely useless. The main objective of this thesis is to provide detailed information about the support of ERP systems and services provided after successful implementation.

Analysis of foreign clients’ service level on the Czech banking market

This Thesis deals with the analysis of foreign clients' service level on the Czech banking market. The main aim is to evaluate the level of foreign clients' service at selected branches and specialised centres of five largest domestic banks, using the method of Mystery Shopping. Evaluation is enhanced by a survey which questions the satisfaction of foreigners with current banking services and their interest regarding specialised centres. Based on the results of the analysis the final recommendations are provided to banks and three determined hypotheses are confirmed or disproved. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on general specifications of the basic concepts and legislative regulations which have an essential influence on foreign clients on the Czech market, the evolution in the number of foreigners in the Czech Republic, the Czech banking market including profiles of domestic banks and the definition of marketing research. The practical part includes preparation and implementation of research at the bank branches, a survey among foreigners, research outcomes and subsequent recommendations to banks.

Electronic signature and its use in accounting

Diploma thesis is focused on matters of electronic signatures and their possible usage in accounting and business process. The paper is divided into two parts. Subject of the first part is general analysis of terminology and characteristics of electronic signature, certificates and certification authorities and time stamps, including analysis of strengths and weaknesses of these services. At the end of this theory part are outlined some of the most common choices of using electronic signature in accounting system. In second part are analysed results of research, which was performed by sending questionnaire to a number of randomly chosen companies.

Analysis of a marketing approach of selected e-shops providing food on the Czech market

The final thesis Analysis of a marketing approach of selected e-shops providing food on the Czech market aims to examine and evaluate the quality of customer service provided by selected food e-shops. The quality is assessed and measured by specific mystery market research methods. After execution of the e-mail communication with each customer center, the purchase of certain goods on these e-shops was realized. Finally, the thesis evaluates the results of the research, gives the providers advice on acquiring new customers and suggests options for elimination of potential deficiencies.

An innovative project for the development of franchising system

This diploma thesis presents theoretical knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation in services, including the theoretical basis of implementation of franchising. The studied subject of the thesis is the franchising system EXPRESKA which focuses on fitness services for women and selling of franchising licence. The thesis examines the external environment of the studied system using the STEP analysis and the analysis of competition in the industry. Rentability of the system is then validated through financial analysis. For the purpose of examination of the internal environment in the primary inquiry, the author of the thesis uses questionnaire and the method of mystery shopping. Based on the evaluation of the primary inquiry and the analysis of the external and the internal environments of the examined system, the author elaborated a proposal to differentiate the product for the system, namely a product innovation of functional training.

Web services for e-commerce support in Czech Republic

Thesis describes models and usage of e-services to support e-commerce. Services are di-vided according to their areas of application. Their characteristics are described from both the business and from the integration point of view. The objectives of thesis are divided into two areas: The first area is the market analysis of selected e-services of third parties to support e-commerce business in the Czech Republic in area of SME that can be supported by web services. The second area is simplified case study of the real deployment of selected services for real e-commerce solution. The work summarizes integration of services and analyzing their impact on the business.

Comparative analysis of credit services of non-bank institutions

The aim of the Bachelor's Thesis is comparative analysis of non-bank loan institutions in the Czech Republic from the consumer perspective. It also intends to put them into context with other related topics and to evaluate the hypothesis of disadvantageousness of non-bank credits in comparison with bank credits. The theoretical part deals with financial literacy, differences between bank and non-bank institutions and results of previous qualitative research of their credit services. Attention is paid to the ethical problem represented by usury. Pawn shops and presentation events are mentioned as well. The thesis focuses on property seizure, personal bankruptcy and debt consultancy of non-profit organisations too. The practical part of the thesis contains comparison of selected non-bank institutions and comparison of a loan product of a concrete bank and one of non-bank company. The practical part also contains comparison of important non-profit debt counselling centres in the Czech Republic in terms of their services and their way of funding. The conclusion of the thesis aims to suggest solutions to risks of non-bank credits for consumers.

Grocery shopping online focused on Tesco

This thesis deals with shopping and sale of grocery online focusing on Tesco Stores CR,a.s. The aim of the study is to evaluate the Tesco e-shop from user's perspective, compare it with the competition and to propose steps towards optimization. The first part of thesis describes general information about the Internet and e-commerce, online grocery market and its specifics. Following part includes analyzeds of grocery e-shops based on multi-criteria evaluation and comparison with the Tesco service. This thesis should help the company Tesco optimize their web and activities.
