Summary: Title of thesis: Changes of anthropometric parameters after the program of physical activity in overweight and obese women. Work objectives: The aim of the work was to fmd out influence of 3-months aerobic exercise program on changes of anthropometric parameters in overweight and obese women. Methods: There were 50 obese and overweight women in project (average age 45~7 ± 10,9 years), who participated at 3-month aerobic exercise program. Work out program consisted of 3 - 4 hours per week of supervisioned aerobic workout (ride the static bike, walk on treadmill). At the beginning and at the end, antrophometric check-ups were made. We checked up: height, weight, BMI, body fat percentage via (through the use of) anthropometric check-up ofthigh skin-fold thickness- callipers, circumference of waist, hip, arm and calf. Results were evaluated in more homogenous groups divided by age- women up to 45 years and women older than 45 years and by proportion ofbody fat- women with lower proportion ofbody fat- up to 40 percent - and women with proportion of body fat higher than 40 percent. Results: Aerobic workout program catalyze all of the monitored parameters - statistically significant decrease of weight, BMI, body fat amount. Changes of fat distribution in body was established by statistically decrease of...

Position of occupational therapy in System of Rehabilitation
PULKERTOVÁ, Jindřiška
Rehabilitation is generally understood as a discipline solving mainly problems connected with motor system. However, the concept of rehabilitation is much larger. In fact, rehabilitation is the all-society system where restoration of moving functions is only one of goals on the way to one{\crq}s reintegration into society. There are a lot of professions within this system participating in the process. Occupational therapy is one of them. The main goal of the dissertation is to introduce occupational therapy as a profession, and highlight its range and position in the system of rehabilitation. The dissertation answers the question on what occupational therapy can offer to the people in need of rehabilitation and investigates wether and how occupational therapy intervention can contribute to the rehabilitation proccess. Further more, the dissertation compares the roles of the profession in Czech Republic and Europe and uses the findings to formulate new hypothesis which can be used for a future research. The main approach of our dissertation is qualitative investigation. We chose the type of case study and participant observation. All that was completed with technique of secondary data analysis. In case studies and according to the experience from the London hospital has been discovered that occupational therapy deals with all components participating in execution of human activities. Occupational therapy assesses and provides interventions to improve sensomotoric, cognitive and psychosocial functions. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. The information obtained from trainee-ship on the Department of Occupational Therapy in London and data has charted and clarified position of occupational therapy. Main difference is in competency of the professionals. In Czech Republic competency are lower and more limited compared to the rest of Europe. Additionally, the number of occupational therapists is lower in our country than is an average in Europe. On the base of obtained information the new hypothesis has been made thereby both goals have been met.

Systems Thinking and its Benefits for the Creation and Operation of Information Systems
Slovák, Martin ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Exnarová, Anna (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to summarize the mthods of systém thinking, and to analyze the benefits of using these methods while developing and using the information system on that basis. Part of the thesis targets is the creation of models for analysis of an organisation, projection and follow-up cration of na IS. The thesis also gives the views of IS use -- there it shows models for human resources and the views of services. The benefits of this thesis is the description of the methods of systém thinking, the application disciplines and their use while creating and using the IS. Other benefit should be the possibility to quicken the IS production and to lower external effects on the process of IS creation. In the domain of IS operation, the possibility of fuction modelling and the possibility of IT department simulation will be shown. In the first part of the work the topics of system thinking is defined -- from its definition to division o the problematics. In the same part there is also shown the impact of worldview and the application desciplines are defined -- such as systém analysis, systém dynamics and systém engineering. In the second part of the thesis, the reader can find the definition and analysis of the IS production -- mostly from the view of organization, for which the IS is designed. In the last part the readers may find the view of systems thinking and its benefits in the area of IS operation -- concretely the model, that shows and decribes the possibility of simulation and follow-up optimisation in the organization.

The initial part of this thesis explains: first-aid, requirements of the educational substance of preschool and lower elementary children, and additional sources of acquiring first-aid education. Subsequentely it describes the research done at the chosen preschools and lower elementary schools. The final results of the research are described in full, which leads to the conclusion and recommendation ofthe general guidline of an optimal range of knowledge in administering first-aid at the preschool and third-grade level. Key words: first-aid, range of knowledge, educational possibilities, research, preschool children, lower elementary children, teachers, general guidline of knowledge

The Influence of Shoulder Protraction Correction to the Postural Stability
Zachová, Marie ; Otáhal, Stanislav (referee) ; Lopot, František (advisor)
The Influence of Shoulder Protraction Correction to the Postural Stability Abstract This work is focused on postural stability from the view of physiotherapy and biomechanics. The basic theme was to find out to what degree the correction of shoulder protraction will influence the postural stabilization of modified tip-toe standing position. For this purpose was set up a special methodic for measuring and data evaluation. Within filling the project of this work, there was suggested and performed a special method of measuring on 2 Kistler force plates, when 1 of the plates was fixed in ½ m. height from the ground on a special inclined construction. The angle of the plate with the ground contained 60ž. There were 5 probands involved in the experiment (aged 20-30 years, having shoulder protraction without any pathology of these joints). The probands were separated up to 3 groups in compliance with the degree of shoulder protraction. Each proband was measured before and after the therapy on the 2 Kistler plates in an oblique tip-toe stand with one upper extremity leaned against the plate in 60ž abduction. The Kistler plates were placed under the lower extremities and the one upper extremity and the measuring took 30 sec. on the left and 30 sec. on the right upper extremity. The therapy took 30 minutes and it was...

Mucocutaneous candidiasis and women's sexual hormones
Košťálová, Marie ; Tošner, Jindřich (advisor) ; Kudela, Milan (referee) ; Mencl, Karel (referee)
The aim of this work was to study relationship between mucocutaneous candidiasis (MCC) and women's sexual hormones. This problem is usually solved by dermatologists, gynaecologists and mycologists separately. Our approach is original, because it is primarily based on skin and/or cutaneous appendagies affection and searches for possible coincidence or other relation in vulvovaginal region. We examined 81 women in our study and divided them into two groups according to hormone-level investigation (women in fertile and perimenopausal period, women in postmenopausal period). We also developed "Candida" questionnaire for further anamnestic data correlation. The relationship between MCC and women's sexual hormones was studied both, in vivo and in vitro. We found C. albicans in vagina in both studied groups most frequently at the time of cutaneous candidiasis. In postmenopausal period the incidence of vaginal C. albicans was significantly lower (significantly lower levels of E2, PG). The cultivation identity between skin and vulvovaginal region was more frequent in fertile and perimenopausal period than in postmenopausal one, too. Predominantely concerned C. albicans again, the conformity was considerable in women with established ovulation (significantly higher levels of PG). In presence of C. albicans in...

Chmelíková, Jana ; Ryšávková, Andrea (advisor) ; Otáhal, Stanislav (referee)
Summary The objeetive of the work was to deseribe therapy by the method of Katharina Sehroth and earrying out an experiment where eurrent ehanges of the spine shape were evaluated in symmetrie and asymmetrie isommetrie aetivation of upper limbs (element based on the Sehroth method) in people with idiopatie seoliosis. The presented work was earried out in a group of 5 adoleseents (girls with idiopatie seoliosis). For evaluation, the shadow moiré topography was used. The probands were monitored and evaluated in 5 positions: resting posture with both upper limbs lowered, resting posture with abduetion and exterior shoulder rotation and 90 degrees elbow flexion, standing posture with symmetrie eontraetion of upper limbs (leaning against both poles) and standing posture with asymmetrie eontraetion of the right upper limb, left upper limb (leaning against one pole). Changes of lumbar flexure were eompared in all the three basie anatomie levels. Based on the results we ean state that due to muscle eontraetion, the shape ofthe spínal eolumn ehanges (often signifieantly) in all three anatomie levels. The numerieal findings ean be used in physiotherapeutie praetiee in ehoosing the right therapy for a seoliotie patient. Therefore, this therapeutie element of the Sehroth method is stili a good option for the...

The aim of the thesis is to analyse rate of effectiveness of retraining programs in Czech republic during the years from 2005 to 2015. For measuring of efficiency is used method of gross effects of retraining programs, which are getting information about success rate of engagement in labour market. Part of thesis is an evaluation of focus of retraining programs on individual groups of applicants according to whereas socialdemografic criteriors in dependence on danger of rise of unemployment. The results of the analysis show that retraining programs are effective tool of active labour market policy to reduce unemployment. 60 to 70 % of job applicants succesfully find an employment within 12 months of entering the evidence of the employment. Analysis of targeting point out dificiencies of the courses targeted towards disadvantages groups, which achieve lower gross effects. The thesis concludes that training programs seem to be efficient labor police measure to eliminate unemployment.
