ŠROUBOVÁ, Jitka
The author of this thesis deals with different kinds of motivations that lead to the development of addiction. She focuses on which internal motives (needs, interests, values personal experience), and external motives (referential groups, norms, idols) led to the development of addiction of her clients. Semi-structured in-depth interviews are carried out in the methodological part. Their aim being to look for particular motivation factors, as well as the interplay of individual motivation factors that led the drug users to using.

Creation of the helmet model from the 3D scanning
Micka, Michal ; Vyčichl, J.
Contribution deals with the preparation of the numerical model of the cycling protective helmet for calculation with the computer programme ANSYS. The helmet was scanning by the hand scanner. After evaluation of the pictures of the helmet surface are at disposal the graphic output files in the format IGES and STL . To unloaded them and for the creation of the numerical geometrical model in ANSYS the modification of the model was performed in two ways. First the input file is edited from the format IGES and second it is the creation of the helmet outside surface from triangles inscribed into the surface of the model in format STL.

XML on the paper
FENCL, Dušan
This thesis is focused on XSL-FO technology and tries to introduce this technology to its users. The content of this thesis is focusing in creation of printed outputs in companies using various formatting equipments. In this thesis, you may find lots of different examples, which clearly demonstrate possibilities of creating printed outputs with assistance of formatting objects. It{\crq}s also focused on difficulties of electronic invoice creation from XML to PDF and compares the quality and its correct appearance of outputs formed by FO processors.

Vintner`s speech
HUBÁČKOVÁ, Petra
The diploma thesis concerns with The Vintage{\crq}s Speech. The theoretical part deals with two outstanding points. It describes Czech language with its dialects and slang, concentrates on slang {--} its definition, history and aspects of slang. It introduces basic problems of planting vine and producing wine. The main part consists of a dictionary of words used by vinegars. The practical part defines the vocabulary as slang and looks for the aspects typical for slang {--} systematisation, univerbisation, synonymy and homonymy. Further it presents word-formation and origins of the words and tries to classify the vocabulary according to the various points of view e.g.: according to part of speech, their onomaziologic base, age of users etc.

Vaňková, Monika ; Šulová, Lenka (advisor) ; Miovský, Michal (referee) ; Boukalová, Hedvika (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to map the psychosocial characteristics of adolescents using drugs while subject to therapeutic intervention in connection with noticing changes in their identity. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter cites the characteristic signs of adolescence relating to biological, cognitive, emotional and psychosocial developmental changes. The content of the second chapter is the formation of identity as a key theme of adolescence. In the third chapter, dedicated to the specifics of drug using in adolescence, themes relating to the origins of addiction, the roles of psychosocial factors and rehabilitation possibilities are discussed. The empirical part presents the research, processed research data from Safety Line conversations on the theme of addiction, research data from questionnaires and conversations with 41 adolescent drug users who entered an educational-therapy stay in the Alternativa department, SVP Klíčov and research data from a case interpretation study. Key words: Adolescence -identity - drug use - therapy

Conception of the Atlas of East Slavic Peoples

Abstract:: The aim of this paper is to present cartographic works for children and youth. The main object is the introduction to the problems of cartographic production for children and youth and the execution of value analysis in terms of cartography. The analysis focuses on the use of mapping language - character key and means of expresion, in this part is an efort to answer the question whether the cartographic works for children and youth are the real maps or rather an illustration. The assesment of selected product by their users - children continue the analasis. Another aim is to compare traditional methods of creating those works with the possibilities of modern computer cartography, three ways of making are demonstrated - by hand, using a graphic application and using cartographic application. Then the paper tries to assess the use of geographic and cartographic knowledge in products for children and youth, in this question the paper use knowledges gained in consultation with author from practise. Keywords: cartographic works for children and youth, character key, illustration, map assessment, graphic program

Rekonštrukcie povrchov z neparalelných rezov s použitím interpolačných metód
Ilavský, Ján ; Kolingerová, Ivana (referee) ; Felkel, Petr (advisor)
Reconstruction from non-parallel cross-sections is not very well studied problem. This work provides overview of methods used to solve it. Step by step there are described all the algorithms from obtaining input data to visualize reconstructed surface. Main focus is put on methods which create distance function interpolating data from cross-sections. The closest point, average normal and disc-guided interpolation are described in details. Out of visualization techniques there are mentioned straight methods and defined in detail marching cubes, marching tetrahedra and regularized marching tetrahedra. All this methods are implemented and used in windows application to compare their results in reconstruction of models saved in ASE format. First of all this model is cut into several cross-sections inside this application. These are used to create distance function using one of the interpolation methods. At the end, distance function is visualized. To compare results, there is used volume computing algorithm based on ray-casting and subjective user opinion based on graphical output.

On the nesting phenomenon in a bilingual dictionary
Šemelík, Martin ; Berglová, Eva (referee) ; Vachková, Marie (advisor)
dictionary. Crucially, the thesis deals with the question, which of the ways of ordering entries, the alphabetical order or nesting, will be more advantageous to the supposed addressee group of a new German-Czech Academic Dictionary (GDTAW). Besides strictly linguistic points of view, factors such as the user aspect and usefulness are given special attention in this thesis. The analysis shows that the alphabetical order of entries might be more useful to the users of the new dictionary than the nesting or other types of regroupment. As a result, the author focuses on how to indicate word-formation links in dictionaries with a strictly alphabetical macrostructure. In connection with this, the thesis presents an analysis of selected bilingual and monolingual dictionaries.

Electronic trade and private international law with special regard to entering into contracts
Peterková, Kateřina ; Brodec, Jan (referee) ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor)
1 Electronic Commerce and Private International Law (with Special Focus on Contract Formation Process) Summary in English language Technologies through which we are able to conclude a contract and carry out business are evolving by unbelievable speed. Legislators all over the world are unable to keep up with such a development usually because the legislative process is a long-term one, they come across absolutely new problems and they have to find new ways to deal with them. The current effective norms governing electronic commerce are often insufficient. They deal only with parts of the problems arising in connection to electronic commerce. Most of them were enacted in times when internet was the only mean of contracting and therefore they are not applicable to new technologies like mobile phones or PDA ect. One of the biggest legal problems arising in connection with new technologies is caused by their borderless. The users are contracting through borders easily because they are not obvious in traditional way. There appears a new question where are the borders in the cyberspace? And are there any? And hand in hand with this issue goes the problem of determining the governing law for these contracts and court that has jurisdiction to hear a case when a dispute arise. Shortly said the new borderless media...

Recognition of musical recordings
Masár, Igor ; Horka, Michal (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This thesis analyzes the specific audio signal-music. It describes the basic methods of analysis of musical signals. The following are mentioned the most common music file formats and the possibility of cross transfer. There are explained terms of music theory, which are also present in this work. They are described and created three ways of detecting melody. It is selected optimal algorithm based on the successful detection of the reference melodies recordings. User interface is created in MATLAB GUI allows recognition of recordings. This interface is tested on few melodies.
