Výnosové a kvalitativní parametry vybraného sortimentu odrůd brambor na šlechtitelské stanici Česká Bělá
Dobrovolný, Zdeněk
This thesis deals with yield and quality parameters of potato varietes. The experiment was based on three repetitions, and in a two-year cycle, in 2011and 2012 on the land of the breeding station VESPA Česká Bělá, Inc. - a subsidiary of VESA Velhartice, Inc. Eighteen chosen varietes of ware potatoes from the following categories were observed: very early (Impala, Magda, Monika, Suzan, Vera) early (Adéla, Barbora, Bohemia, Marabel, Terka, Vendula) semi - early (Bella, Lolita, Nancy, Red Anna, Vlasta) late (Janet, Lydia). Impala, Lolita and Marabel are varietes of outlandish origin. The evaluation was carried out after the harvest and was focused on tuber yield, average weight of a single tuber and mass grading of tubers in a clump, starch content and cooking quality.

Šmak, Petr ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
Design of frame of a human powered vehicle (HPV) is the aim of this diploma thesis. Wide analysis precedes design process. The thesis describes historical developement of land transportation, especially history of cycling, bicycles and other human povered vehicles, which are not so extended. Preferences and deficiencies of transportation by these ecological vehicles are shown. The thesis includes summary of most widespread and best-known conceptions, including their advantages and disadvanteges. Conception of three-wheeled vehicle was selected. It has two steered front wheels and one powered rear wheel. The accent is putted on wide efficiency, ergonomics, simplicity of vehicle`s frame and possibility of using common cycling components. 3D model of frame and assembly of vehicle was created. This model was checked by FEM computation.

Probabilistic Methods in Discrete Applied Mathematics
Fink, Jiří ; Loebl, Martin (advisor) ; Koubek, Václav (referee) ; Sereni, Jean-Sébastein (referee)
One of the basic streams of modern statistical physics is an effort to understand the frustration and chaos. The basic model to study these phenomena is the finite dimensional Edwards-Anderson Ising model. We present a generalization of this model. We study set systems which are closed under symmetric differences. We show that the important question whether a groundstate in Ising model is unique can be studied in these set systems. Kreweras' conjecture asserts that any perfect matching of the $n$-dimensional hypercube $Q_n$ can be extended to a Hamiltonian cycle. We prove this conjecture. The {\it matching graph} $\mg{G}$ of a graph $G$ has a vertex set of all perfect matchings of $G$, with two vertices being adjacent whenever the union of the corresponding perfect matchings forms a Hamiltonian cycle. We prove that the matching graph $\mg{Q_n}$ is bipartite and connected for $n \ge 4$. This proves Kreweras' conjecture that the graph $M_n$ is connected, where $M_n$ is obtained from $\mg{Q_n}$ by contracting all vertices of $\mg{Q_n}$ which correspond to isomorphic perfect matchings. A fault-free path in $Q_n$ with $f$ faulty vertices is said to be \emph{long} if it has length at least $2^n-2f-2$. Similarly, a fault-free cycle in $Q_n$ is long if it has length at least $2^n-2f$. If all faulty vertices are...

Public Administration Decision-Making on Cycle Routes
Polena, Lukáš ; Černý, Jan (advisor) ; Přibyl, Vladimír (referee)
The thesis focuses on cycle routes fulfilling recreational and touristic function. The aim is creation of a method for evaluating cycle routes attractiveness, applicable in public administration decision-making process. The method enables to compute attractiveness value and to use it as a decision criterion for selecting optimal cycle routes, it also proposes the way their designing. It is based on theoretical knowledge and on a survey of bike trips reviews. The theoretical part deals with public administration, managerial decision making and with cycling infrastructure, which is important for development of cycling. The method is applied in a real territory (Třeboň region) where several cycle routes are designed, and in a decision making both with one and two criteria optimal route is selected.

The baroque Waldsteine in Bohemia (1640-1740)
Hrbek, Jiří ; Maur, Eduard (advisor) ; Petráň, Josef (referee) ; Vlnas, Vít (referee)
My thesis describes the evolution of the Waldstein clan in the age of one hundred years after the Thirty Years War. Both termini which I have chosen (1640 and 1740) are not exactly kept because of logic of my constructions. I aspire to commit an integrated and compact view of activities of Waldstein clan, which belonged to an aristocratic class through its property, political power and an amount of social relations. It was one of the most famous and most powerful family structures in early modern Bohemia and in the whole Habsburg monarchy as well. My method combines a lot of approaches including biography (prosopography) and structure analysis. I want to inquire the relations between the Waldstein family and the changing social and political structures, in which they acted. The first part concerns stories of the personalities growing from the clan, their activities in the frame of early modern state and its administration. In the time of 17th and 18th centuries, this activity was connected with the fealty to the ruler and the service for the ruler was an essential assumption for making the career. As courtiers, diplomats and officers, the Waldsteine came up to expectations of their estate. The models of aristocratic careers I have related to the life cycle and I have described the making of...

Austrian business cycle theory and its application to the Great Depression
Svatek, Jakub ; Dočkal, Dalibor (advisor) ; Loužek, Marek (referee)
This thesis deals with the Austrian business cycle theory. At the beginning it introduce methodology of the Austrian School. It also describes the Austrian structures of the capital and production based on time preference, which are necessary to understand this whole theory. One of goals is to show the possible causes of the business cycle, which the Austrian economists see in the monetary expansion. This causes a reduction in interest rates, disorientation of investors and the spread of investment demand. Furthermore, the task is to verify the viability of this theory in practice, applications to the Great Depression in the U.S.. Here this thesis analyzes the anti-crisis measures of the government of presidents Hoover and Roosevelt. Results are compared with the assumptions of Austrian theory and based on this comparison it draws conclusions.

Chlamydia - the old-new diagnostic and therapeutic problem in human medicine.
Šifaldová, Lenka ; Jílek, Petr (advisor) ; Voxová, Barbora (referee)
The bachelor work is focused on diagnosis and treatment infections, which are caused by Chlamydia bakteria and Chlamydophila bakteria important in human medicine. It is Chlamydia trachomatis a common caused of sexually transmited infections and Chlamydophila pneumoniae beggetter of pneumonia. In the theoretical part of the work present morfology, biology findings and antigen set of different types of chlamydia bacteria are summarized. It is payed attention to life cycle, pathogenicyty and immunity system reaction. It is hard to recognize these infections because of different clinical manifestations and covering them in other diseases. Physician awareness in this problem and laboratory diagnosis is still limited. Therefor, the course of the disease is complicated, it can usually contribute to the chronicity and cause to serious impact as woman infertility. The aim of this work is also description and treatment options of most common infections. In the practical part of this work existing laboratory methods are described. Patient resultes of chlamydia infections, which were done in Central Laboratory SZZ Krnov during 2.1.2008 - 24.2.2010 , there are also presented.

Use of LCA (life cycle assessment) in environmental sciences
Francová, Michaela ; Ettler, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vítková, Martina (referee)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the analytical method called the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and to show its practical applications in case studies especially in waste management. The LCA method consists of four phases. The first phase is the definition of the intention and volume of the study, which includes the subject, the recipient, the place concerned and the purpose of the study together with specifications of the scope of product system. The second phase deals with the life cycle inventory. The investigators collect the accessible data on individual inputs and outputs of the product system, which are consequently embedded into the inventory chart. The third phase applies to the assessment of the life cycle impact on predefined categories using the impact categories indicators. The final phase summarizes the interpretation of the life cycle, its intelligibility for the submitter being mainly considered.

TTiittllee:: Utilization of Multidimensional scaling and kinetic tests for evaluation and selection of soldiers to courses of close combat TThhee aaiimm ooff wwoorrkk:: The work deals with the structure scale for evaluation of close combat techniques and the selection of predictors, which will improve the quality of the identification of soldiers with conditions for the successful solution of model situations using the techniques of close combat. MMeetthhoodd:: In the beginning of the study is constructed a scale of criterion variable for evaluating techniques of close combat. The construction of scale was used the model of multidimensional scaling. The data was obtained from eight Czech Army experts of close combat. The scale was verified by generalized and weighted Kappa coefficient. By the kinetic tests was tested the group of 157 professional soldiers from different units. The soldiers were old between 20 and 32. Besides kinetic tests were in the study included the previous experiences with fight activities. To selection of the kinetic tests was used the model of linear regression. The evaluation of predictive power of kinetic tests was made by individual cohorts in prediction cycle. RReessuullttss:: In first part of the study was created scale of criterion variable which contain three...
