Pilgriming, wandering and hiking (culturological comparative approach)

This core work is a mutual comparison approach, which relates to the internal character and motives of the three specific forms of travel: pilgrimage, wandering and hiking. They are presented in chronological order, with an emphasis on comparison, resources, development and continuity of individual approaches. Regarded as the basic motive of these three ways which one sets out of the home; the author considers the human need for change, a desire for knowledge and an escape from everyday life, which are presented in more detail. In addition, being discussed is the concept of looking at these forms of travel as a kind of ritual transition when a person away from their normal environment becomes an individual that is on the border, detached from his past and his future already changed thanks to the newly acquired experiences and expertise - a man who returns is never the same. Pilgrimage, wandering and hiking are presented as activities in which by their own way often enable an individual to abandon everyday life. The level and manner of this work are expressed via a culturally and historical contingent and subject to further transformation. Detached house with a dentist’s surgery

The present bachelor’s thesis processed a desing of a newly-built single-family house in the city of Chlum u Hradce Králové. The desing is concerned with a detached building with two floors and partial basement, dentist’s surgery and swimming pool. The house is designed for a family of four members. The structural systém of Kalksandstein sand-lime blocks was chosen for the designed building. The ceiling structure is created with prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. The thermal insulation is provided by the ETICS systém and by the ventilated facade with air gap with panelling of fibre cement boards CEMBRIT. The building is roofed with a flat and sloping roof.

Newly-built Multifunctional Building

The final thesis deals with a new building of the mixed-used building in Zruč nad Sázavou. The object has five floors, it is basementless with a flat roof. A loadbearing structure is made of skeleton - reinforced concrete monolithic column and reinforced concrete monolithic slabs. Filling masonry is made of ceramic tiles. The object has ventilated facade, it is insulated by mineral wool. Most parts of the object are used for living purposes, the rest of rooms are used as an shopping area – bookstore, drugstore. Stores have their own cleaning rooms and stocks. In area used for living purporses, there is basement cells and boiler room. In sum there are twelve residential units and four of these units are maissonett apartments.

Hotel

Diploma thesis deals with the complex desing documentation newly-built hotel. The building is situated in the centre of Brno in the cadastral Brno – Trnitá. The hotel is desingned for temporary accommodation and small conferences. It is four-storey building with flat roof and without a basement. Cast-in-place reinforced concrete farme is used for structural system with locally supported slab. It used clay bloks for infill wall. The whole building is insulated external thermal insulation composite system from mineral wool. For visitors to the hotel is parking available in the south part of the land. The hotel is desingned for visitors with limited mobility and orientation.

House with Municipal Flats and Fitness.

This thesis offers a project for newly build house with municipal flats and the fitness center. The building will be situated on a plot of land in the northwestern part of the town Ždírec nad Doubravou. Appearance and topografy of this building is adjusted to the surrounding buildings in a small town in the Vysočina. This is a partial basement house with three floors. The roof of the building is designed as a saddle with a supporting structure of trusses GANG-NAIL at an angle of 12 °. Capacity of fitness center fulfills requirements of a small town. The roomy apartments are designed in 1 + kk - 3 + kk. The building is designed with regard to the possibility of barrier-free housing. Disposition diversity of housing units meets a range of requirements of future tenants.

Detached House with shop

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the proposal of newly-built detached house with the bicycle components shop and bicycle service in the cadaster unit of municipality Česká in the development of detached houses. It is a two-storey building, cellarless, consisting of the first and second storey. The built-in garage abuts to the detached house. The building is designed for one generation (a family of four people) with a garage for one automobile and in the shop there are two employees – a salesman and a service technician. The passage to the garage and shop is provided from the living area of the building. The roof terrace with access from the second storey of the object is located above the garage. The object is built from the strips of plain concrete, the structural system consists of Porotherm clay blocks and the floor structures are formed by ceramic fillers and Porotherm beams. The roofing of the building is realized by the warm flat roof. The main entrance into the building is oriented to the north, the living area of the house is oriented to the east, west and south.

House in Malinov

The aim of the bachelor thesis is processing of the design documentation to execution newly-built single-family house in a village Malinovo. The Family house is a detached house, which is located in the area of newly built complex Tri vody Malinovo. This is a building without cellar with two ground floor and flat roof. Shape of the object is slightly rectangular and the of the entrance to building is the northeast side. The Family house is designed as a one - generation house for a four member family. Next part of building is terrace and hard landscaping for parking two cars, overlapped by wooden shelter. Vertical load-bearing structures are of system Heluz and floor structure is Miako from Heluz company. External plaster building is created by plaster scrape texture.

Creation and check of tutorial programme for students of programme "Health Education": Possibilities usage of alternative methods within regeneration methods (Thai massage)

The main task of my thesis was to design and verify in practice, educational program of alternative regeneration techniques, in this case focused on a traditional Thai massage. In the theoretical part, I described the classic method of regeneration. The practical section is devoted to tutorials, where students become familiar with the basics and some technics traditional Thai massage. It was aimed at teaching students the 3rd year of full-time degree in Health Education Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia. Training program attended by 22 students, who were closely acquainted selected touches of traditional Thai massage.The success of educational program and the newly acquired knowledge, was verified by the questionnaire. Based on the evaluation of these questionnaires have been possible to verify that students demonstrated after this edukational programm improving skills of Thai massage.

Loading of bridges and accumulation of fatigue damage

The article presents discussion and recommendation in connection with influence and evaluation methods of bridge loading events. Newly, according to Eurocode 3, two reliability concepts may be considered: damage tolerant concept and safe life concept. Fatigue life assessment may be based on fully probabilistic concept, too. The loading as well as response history should be taken into consideration and a fatigue criterion, based on the stress-range concept, should be applied. Crack grown may be modeled using LEFM procedures, initial crack size ai may be determined as input random variable with log-normal distribution.

Practice Requirements for the Competence in Students newly Graduated from the Faculty with Diplomas in the Managerial Sphere of Studies

In my bachelor thesis I have dealt with key competences according to which we can divide managers into two main groups: successful managers and the average ones. The aim of the thesis was to find out what kind of competences are required by most employers from students newly graduated from the faculties focused on teaching managerial disciplines, how are their expectations met, and to what extent the graduates of the Faculty of Management are equipped with these required skills after having graduated from the Faculty of VŠE in Jindřichův Hradec.
