Využitie pomocných pôdnych látok pri zakladaní trávnikov
Petríček, Jozef
The literature review section of this thesis deals with the characteristics of types of lawns, and more about the methods of lawn making. Furthermore, in the thesis there is the description of natural and artificial soil conditioners. The thesis' experiment, which took place at the ZF MENDELU plots , consisted of landscaping, blown experimental plots, incorporation of Hydrogel and sowing seeds. The seeds used were either coated or uncoated seeds. The experiment consisted of 6 variants and each variant had three repetitions. The grasses rate of emergence, the amount of biomass after cutting and the depth of the root systems were tested on the sowed seeds. The fastest emergence and initial growth and the longest grass' length were observed in variant 3 in which seeds were coated with Hydro-absorbent and land applied with hydrogel at a dose of 50g.m2. Variant 3 also had the longest root system.

Small architecture in Tábor region and its new mission
JÍRŮ, Petra
In this dissertation we seized less conspicuous attractions which are situated in the choice locations of Tábor landscape. We endeavoured to discover other possibilities of utilization of the chosen destination, despite our initial impression that the destination was fully used. The most important task of this thesis was to analyze natural, historical and natural interests of this region. After detailed research/analyzes/discussions we discovered that there are a lot of ``hidden{\crq}q attractions in the locality. These attractions deserve their renewal and more attention from their visitors. On the base of information were created suggestions and recommendations for development of this destination.

Floodplains: special measures needed for the development and stabilisation of fish biota
Lusk, Stanislav ; Hartvich, P. ; Lojkásek, B. ; Lusková, Věra ; Pražák, O. ; Halačka, Karel ; Sovíková, L.
The preserved extent of the initial floodplains along major rivers is limited and has been distinctly altered by hydrological dynamics. The results exert a negative impact on aquatic biota, above all, fishes (the floodplains of Odra, Dyje, Lužnice rivers). The most marked changes include construction of ponds, canalization of streams with levees, absence of meadow management. The consequences: absent landscape formation activity of streams, expansion of wetland vegetation, gradual silting and downfall of alluvial habitats, their total drying, destruction of elements such as channels, ditches, river arms and other habitats, a limitation or disappearance of populations of Misgurnus fossilis, Rhodeus amarus, Cobitis spp., Carassius carassius, Leucaspius delineatus. Retrieval: maintenance of optimum condition of aquatic habitats, creation of artificial wetlands, restoration populations of protected fish species. Passive protection of habitat and species is no solution any longer.

1 Annotation Antonín Střížek - painter, draftsman, graphic artist, photographer The subject of this bachelor thesis is artist Antonín Střížek. The thesis is divided into several chapters. Its goals, its methodical procedures and structure are outlined in the preface. The initial section of the thesis focuses on the historical context of the era, in which Střížek worked. Biographical details of the painter follow right after. Next chapers focus on his artwork. It is stated in the bachelor thesis, that Antonín Střížek as an artist belongs to the postmodern generation of Czech artists. His art career started in the eighties. His early works were inspired by neoexpressionism, but later he shifted to realistic artwork, one which he still practices today. According to the author of this thesis, in his paintings Antonín Střížek grasps real things, that surround us in everyday life. The author also states, that still-lives, city sceneries, landscapes and colourful backgrounds are characteristic elements and themes, occuring repeatedly in his works. A strong emphasis is put on colouring of his paintings, which is often inspired by his visits in foreign countries. The bachelor thesis focuses not only on Střížek's painting, but also on his photographs, drawings and graphic works.

Does it differ the germinability of the chosen orchids on the natural and renewed meadows?
SUCHÁČEK, Pavel
The survey presented in this thesis focused on germination of six orchid species in the Protected landscape area White Carpathians; specifically Platanthera bifolia, Neottia ovata, Anacamptis pyramidalis, Gymnadenia conopsea subsp. conopsea, Traunsteinera globosa, Orchis militaris on restored medows of various age. As the control, two National Protected Areas (Zahrady pod Hájem and Čertoryje) were used. The initial stage of germination was detected on both restored and control meadows. The advanced stage of germination (protocorm) was recorded in three species (GC, NO, PB) on restored meadows, and in all species on kontrol meadows. The other aim of the thesis was to determine via molecular methods, which species of mycorrhizal fungi are associated with the model orchid species.

The fiefs of castle Karlštejn
Novotná, Markéta ; Bobková, Lenka (referee) ; Ledvinka, Václav (advisor)
The study deals with the fiefs and vasalls of castle Karlštejn. Initially the fiefs were connected with the castle Kamýk nad Vltavou and came into being in the age of king Přemysl Otakar ll. It was Karel IV. who attached them to the castle Karlštejn. Most of the fiefs survived until the end of beneficiary system in the year 1869. Because of absence any theoretical article to this question I dedicated this contribution to the essential problems of this system. Especially I focused on the period from the 14. century till the beginning of 17. century. The colonization and landscape of this territory (Podbrdský and the north part of Vltavský region) - these two reasons - influenced the location of the fiefs, too far afield from the castle Karlštejn. At first the king himself and then his camera tried to maintain their position in this region. During the 14. century and at the beginnig of 15. century besides the gentry were the officials and servants from the court proofed as the vasalls. The fiefs survived the Hussite wars but the beneficiary system as a whole or unit didn't exist. As late as the third period of the 16. century Jáchym Novohradský of Kolovraty, the burgrave of castle Karlštejn and prefect of czech camera, enabled the renovation not only of the castle, but also of beneficiary system at the...

Cave formation initiated by dissolution of carbonate cement in qartzose sandstones
Adamovič, Jiří ; Mikuláš, Radek ; Navrátil, Tomáš ; Mertlík, J.
Besides cavities of irregular shape, European sandstones also feature symmetrical cavities of spherical, ellipsoidal or teardrop shapes. Most of them are tens of centimetres across but some reach as much as 2–3 m in diameter and may coalesce into large caves tens of metres in length. Their origin has not been clearly explained yet. Based on the field comparison between such cavities in quartzose sandstones and incompletely developed cavities in carbonate-cemented sandstones, it can be demonstrated that the symmetrical cavities form by carbonate dissolution within the limits of former carbonate concretions. The diagnostic features of post-concretionary cavities include their circular or elliptical cross-section, a uniform orientation of their long axes across the region, and the presence of a set of parallel vertical joints or grooves/ribs on their inner walls. In some sandstone areas (e.g., Petite Suisse area in Luxembourg, Kokořín area in the Czech Republic), a wide variety of transitional forms can be found between the cavities and concretions forming positive relief on a vertical cliff face, depending on the position of the carbonate dissolution front in the present landscape.

Proposal for reconstruction of the historic Beaufort rock garden in the Bečov nad Teplou town (district Karlovy Vary)
ŠPAKOVÁ, Markéta
This thesis will build upon my undergraduate dissertation. It is enriched by the new information about the original historic Beaufort rock garden. It explores the Beaufort rock garden and includes points of view of the experts on its condition today. The following part of the thesis comprises of a proposal for a renewal of the current Bečov botanical garden framework and of a more detailed focus on few selected rocks and their initial planting. The main contribution of this work is an expansion of the total number of the initially grown plants (from 654 to 1228) thanks to the newly found resources and to the writing down all the newly discovered information from the archival research of the original historical documents dated from 1908 to 1937. All the documents were catalogued by the author of the original concept alpina, the head gardener Johann Koditek. What we do know from the original documentation is how the area expanded between the years 1922 - 1927 with the purchase of the surrounding land. It is clear that the expenses for the land were about 18 098,31crowns and for various works, building construction, plants, materials and wages the total sum was 468 336.07 crowns. The exact mounting plans for landscape park were rediscovered (10 plans and inventories in total) and 16 plans and inventories in total of 47 for the rock garden. The chart with the total number of the originally cultivated taxa also consists of the surviving taxa in the area (22 specific herb species + 43 specific tree species and 12 tree genera). The synonymy of the original plants was created for three selected rocks and surveyed their purchase options today. Most of the taxa will return back to the garden, only rock no. 8 will have to be planted differently due to the lack of light on the original plants. Keywords: origin
