Chovanec, Martin ; Fiala, Petr (advisor) ; Borovička, Adam (referee)
documentation. I decided to help solve this problém for one Czech company in the implementation of a specific project. Elements, that could affect the success of the project, are many. However, by using different models it is possible to try minimize some impacts of known risks. In manufacturing project, which especially focuses on custom projects, there is an essential part of the decision whether to accept not to accept the project. This company primarily endeavor to maximize profits, the project must be interesting. In the first part of this thesis I examine this problem. In the second part I do the project analysis, which was selected on the basis of multi-criteria evaluation of alternatives. Finally, this whole thesis is implemented into the reality and the company works with it.

Juan Filloy and the novel Op Oloop: A myth, an author, a work
Kazmar, Vít ; Housková, Anna (advisor) ; Sánchez Fernández, Juan Antonio (referee)
Vít Kazmar - Juan Filloy: A myth, an author, a work The work Juan Filloy: A myth, an author, a work focuses on the neglected Argentinian writer Juan Filloy (1894 - 2000) and its aim is to serve as an introduction to his work that has received little attention so far. Its first part is dedicated to the analysis of the myth that has spread around the author and completely eclipsed his work. It consists mainly of anecdotal features of his personality and it touches his work only superficially. However, the status of an unknown writer is determined in large part by Filloy's own decision to live in a small town and publish the books himself, as well as by his demanding style, wide vocabulary and often very provocative language and themes. However, it is possible to find some key attributes of his aesthetics in the myth about the author: the palindromes mean a turning toward language as well as the strict and disciplined approach; the wide vocabulary points to the desire of precision of expression etc. The majority of the work then concentrates on the analysis of the author's language and on the interpretation of the novel Op Oloop. The language of Juan Filloy is characteristic by contrast, clarity and order. The central stylistic tool is parallelism; the structure of sentences often becomes a space for...

Teaching geometry at primary school using tablet.
VACÍŘOVÁ, Lenka
The master's thesis deals with the use of tablet PCs in geometry lessons. The master's thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is focused on applications for iPad tablets themselves. It is preoccupied with the ways the stated applications are beneficial for pupils, with their major functions, and with their suitability for teaching. Besides, the thesis deals with projects that enable schools to obtain tablet PCs as equipment. The second part includes worksheets designed in applications suitable for teaching and curriculum on the first stage of primary schools. It also deals with their use in teaching itself. In conclusion, the findings that have emerged from the process of the worksheets verification with pupils are presented.

Stress in acting
Bartoš, Vojtěch ; HLAVICA, Lukáš (advisor) ; TÖPFER, Tomáš (referee)
Main topic of this thesis is psychological stress of an actor during his performance. Thesis describes psychological stress in general, shows categorization, determines its causes and reactions of body exposed to stress during long and short timeload. Special attention is dedicated to stress management (coping) and to mechanics of its intervention and prevention. Stressing working conditions and actors personality traits that can reduce or increase stress are researched on this theoretical background. Some of most casual stress phenomena are analyzed. Also reflection of the nature and importance of stress in acting is presented.

Project to extend water and sewer in the village Brandýsek
Petrová, Michaela ; Synáčková, Marcela (advisor) ; Renata, Renata (referee)
The thesis deals with the project phase of utility services within newly built family homes. Special attention is paid to the construction of sanitary sewers, water mains and rain water management in urban areas in context of the current legislation. The paper is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part focuses on the means and facilities of utility services and on legislation regarding their proposed design and subsequent implementation. The second part concentrates on the construction of particularly selected networks in a specific project. It involves the emerge of new locations within undeveloped areas that closely adjoin the existing community. In this area we find not only a proposed sewerage treatment for wastewater but also water lines for the newly formed 14 building plots. Special attention is paid to the management of rainwater coming from public roads and sidewalks. The construction of the proposed utilities is economically evaluated in the budget costs calculated for building construction. The conclusion of this paper concentrates on the newly formed building plots that have been pre-engineered for connection to the relevant utilities.

Hydrological and soil erosion control importance of non-productive habitats in coal post-mining landscape restoration
Korol, Daniel ; Hendrychová, Markéta (advisor) ; Kovář, Martin (referee)
The present thesis deals with the issue of a literature review of surface mining in Most and its surroundings. It focuses on changes in the area due to surface mining, and describes their remedy in several ways. Emphasis is on water treatment and other affected constituents in nature. It also deals with describing a detailed definition of the area and non-productive habitat. The following section contains a methodology for field measurement - infiltration attempt made by a single-cylinder, during which found the average hydraulic conductivity of forests, meadows, successions and ruderals. The experiment was conducted at the lignite quarry dumps Czechoslovak army, Ležáky and Vršany.

Effect of a soft tissue on vocal tract acoustic resonance properties in vocal exercises using phonation into tubes
Radolf, Vojtěch ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Laukkanen, A. M.
Mathematical model is introduced to clarify the influence of the vocal tract soft tissues on the acoustic resonance (formant) frequencies. The influence is studied in the context of voice therapy technique that uses phonation into tubes. Strong acoustc-structural interaction is demonstrated to take place in the vocal tract when it is prolonged by a tube with the distal end in air or submerged 2 cm and 10 cm in water. The numerical results from the model are compared with the resonance frequencies measured in humans.

PIV and LIF study of flow and thermal fields of twine plumes in water
Broučková, Zuzana ; Trávníček, Zdeněk
Flow and thermal fields of a pair of plane plumes in water are investigated using PIV and LIF experiments. The plumes are generated from thermal line sources (electrically heated cylinders, diameter D = 1.21 mm). Either continuous or pulsating heating were used with the same heating input power. For a continuous heating, low frequency oscillations were identified and the natural frequency was evaluated as 0.5 Hz. Pulsating heating was used at frequency of 0.25 Hz. The maximum time-mean velocity magnitude at the continuous and pulsating heating were commensurable, approximately 0.007 m/s. Temperature fields reasonably agree with these findings.

Porovnání nekonvenční měnové politiky ECB a FED
Bohůnek, Matěj ; Hnát, Pavel (advisor) ; Marcel Bluhm, Eric Pentecost and (referee)
The monetary policy of the Fed and the ECB has greatly change as a result of the global crisis. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the evolution of unconventional monetary instruments in the USA and the EU after the outbreak of the global crisis and nowadays with the help of pivotal economic models; namely, the IS-LM-BP model and the quantity theory of money. In addition, the paper should assess the impacts of adopted instruments and programs and draw conclusions about their success. The theoretical part explains the IS-LM-BP framework and the quantity theory of money and describes the unconventional monetary tools that the central banks can use when the interest rates reach the zero lower bound. The practical part analyses EU and US economy with the explained models. Furthermore, the implemented instruments of the Fed and the ECB are described and compared. The thesis should be concluded with the claim that the transmission mechanism was restored with the help of the non-standard measures, however, the desirable price level stabilization has not been reached.
