Frýzová, Hana ; Kopecký, Martin (referee) ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on mapping the factors which are influencing the adaptation of students while being on international study programs and observes effective methods of adaptation. The stress is put on clarifying the key definitions related to adaptation processes, naming and interpreting each of the factors influencing the adaptation in general. To better understand the possible adaptation factors, there are used in this work the results of questionnaires, which were distributed by the University of Lapland to foreigner students, who passed their study program at this university in the years 2002 2005 and 2006 2007. The comparison of these results is also included. Other part of this work presents the results of questionnaires distributed to foreigner students studying at Charles University in the academic year 2007 2008 and shows the comparison of these results with the results of questionnaires from the University of Lapland in the academic year 2006 2007. The comparison of the questionnaires also helps to clarify to what extent are the adaptation factors dependent upon the environment it self. The results of these investigations indicate that the ability to adapt can differ for each individual. The factors influencing the adaptation process seems to be for example the personality background of...

He arrived in Prague at the end of the year 1707 and his arrival was very seasonable. He has acquired a reputation as a painter of frescoes educated by the famous painter Andrea Pozzo. In a short period of time he started working on projects organized by the most important investors in Bohemia, especially by the Societas Jesu of the Bohemian province, where he realized his most significant frescoes in their churches, chaples and libraries, employing his best abilities. Johann Hiebel established the long-term, close relations with the Jesuits and gained fame by realizing his first important and successful contract in the St.Climent's church in Prague (1714-1715). Consequently he made for them other works in fresco that are counted as his masterpieces - the frescoes in one of the order's churches SJ in Klatovy in 1716, then again in the Klementinum in Prague (Oratorium Congregationis Latinae Maioris 1723 and the Bibliotheca Maior 1724), and finally in Świdnica (Schweidnitz) in the Silesia - the chapel Beatissimea Virgins in Sole of the parish church JS (1726). The nutrition specifics of patients with chronic renal failure in pre-haemodialysis and haemodialysis programmes.
PAVLÍKOVÁ, Andrea
Chronic renal insufficiency tends to worsen gradually until it gets to the stage of kidney failure, often despite the prescribed adequate treatment. The duration of this period of nephrology dispensarization may differ. Kidneys lose their cleaning ability within ten years, which leads to accumulation of metabolism waste products in the body. If the primary renal disease graduates to the final stage the patient depends on substitute kidney therapy in the form of haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or transplantation. Kidney failure treatment depends on the stage of renal function impairment. Modification of eating habits is also closely related to this fact. In the first stage of insufficiency the diet does not substantially differ from normal healthy nourishment principles. Only later gradual limitation of intake of the individual nutrients is necessary. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to map specific requirements for nourishment of patients suffering from chronic kidney failure that have not been included in a dialysis programme yet, contrary to individuals who already visit a dialysis centre and regularly undertake blood cleaning process. A lot of professional literature had to be studied to obtain necessary information for preparation of adequate diet regimen. Scientific bibliographic publications by Czech as well as foreign authors were used as the source on the one hand and the latest findings resulting from randomized multicentric studies had to be found in journals specialized in kidney diseases and nourishment on the other hand. Nourishment recommendations for patients with chronic kidney failure, which are divided into low-protein diet in conservative therapy and limitation of nutrient intake in patients included in the haemodialysis programme, were elaborated upon the obtained information.

Nováková, Kateřina ; Křečková Kroupová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Ondráček, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the methods of coaching as a leadership in professional basketball clubs in the Czech Republic. The objective of the thesis is to determine how much the professional basketball coaches are familiar with methods of coaching and whether they use any of them in their daily practice. To find the necessary information there has been used a questionnaire survey through email correspondence with coaches. The results are then compared with the information obtained through studying books of leading American coaches. The benefits of this thesis are identification and evaluation of the coaching utilization in management of professional basketball teams. Analysis of the internal environment of the selected organization
KURFIRSTOVÁ, Linda
The aim of my thesis is to reveal the facts relating to the current situation in the selected company, namely through the analysis of the internal environment. The facts discovered will then serve for the design of optimal strategy that will improve the company's strengths and eliminate its weaknesses. The first conducted analysis was that of portfolio, Boston matrix, which is often used in practice precisely because it will give us the answer to the question as to what business activities have the potential for the company and which, on the other hand, have disadvantages and just swallow its resources. Thanks to its design, we can also assess the current situation of the market and take necessary action in its development field and thus gain greater competitive advantage. Analysis of corporate finances is usually implemented using financial analysis; and data needed for the development was obtained from the balance sheet and the profit and loss account.I decided to work with indicators according to the method of Rolf Grünwald (2007). These are indicators of liquidity, profitability, activity and subsequent debt. The last used method is the SWOT method, which was based on the identified strengths and weaknesses of the company as well as its opportunities and threats - only some of those were chosen and used to build Fuller triangle through which I could calculate the weight of individual factors and therefore determine the position of the company in the SWOT matrix. Boston matrix discovered that the company?s position against its strongest competitor is not bad. It just needs to focus on the involvement of such material that will ensure stable profits ? in another words material that will, in the matrix, appear in the position of dairy cow. Financial analysis found some problems in the area of ability to meet its obligations and, therefore, the company should focus on this situation. Furthermore it is far too dependent on foreign sources, which does not help much in the event of future needs of obtaining funds. SWOT analysis of the company testified that if it is able to utilize the strengths it has at its disposal, it will be able to remove the threats faced in the market, and therefore find itself in a better situation in the future. This will work to the company?s advantage simply because there are not many companies with this strategy on the market at this present time. Many businesses simply do not have such strengths at their disposal.
