Prevention of venus thromboembolic disease
Šichtařová, Daniela ; Fanta, Jan (advisor)
Deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism are part of the same process , venous thromboembolic nemoci.Žilní thrombosis and pulmonary embolism is a serious complication in the postoperative period and thromboembolism is often the cause of death not only in patients surgical or orthopedic surgery , after injuries , but also in gynecology and obstetrics or in connection with an internal disease . More recently, complicates this episode and modern performance transplant surgery, vascular surgery and laparoscopic operace.TEN is one of the most common diseases endangering the patient in terms of long-term morbidity, disability , mortality as well . Epidemiologically important is deep vein thrombosis of the lower limbs , distal and proximal . The potential of pulmonary embolism in a lesser degree also contribute venous thrombosis upper extremities , axillary vein , pelvic and brain . Since the latter is difficult to diagnose , has a relatively high prevalent in hospitalized patients , high treatment costs diagnosed events , and sometimes in spite of treatment ends fatal disease , is devoted to its prevention tremendous effort . Wait for the diagnosis means to expose vulnerable patients unacceptable risk .

Linear pottery culture villages in Eastem Bohemia and problems of the archaeological material formation processes
Květina, Petr ; Pavlů, Ivan (advisor) ; Popelka, Miroslav (referee) ; Pavúk, Peter (referee)
The aim of the work is to attempt a new approach towards the inner organization of the Neolithic settlements and their mutual relations. The main object of analysis is the LBK culture pottery, which is studied not only in terms of its chronological attributes, but attention is also paid to its characteristics that can possibly reflect the behavioral patterns of the society. Three working goals have been defined: The first one focuses on the standard chronological settlement analysis; the second pursues the stylistic analysis of the LBK pottery decoration with the intention of identifying the variability within the settlement; and the third one is dedicated to observation of formation processes of the archaeological material both at the human behavior level of refuse treatment and the post-deposition natural processes level. Together with the evolution of the archaeological theory the concept of the archaeological findings - artifacts and ecofacts - information capacities has changed. Chronological level of artifact features and consequent creation of typological and chronological charts were stressed within the cultural history theory. The following functional - processual theory period connoted a closer relationship of Archaeology with Natural ,,; History Sciences and an optimistic view of the settlement...

Evaluation and time development by fire department during fire-figting in the south Bohemia region in the last 5 years.
HAVLÍK, Pavel
The aim of the Dissertation was to assess and analyse the times spent by PO brigades of the South Bohemian Region on interventions and to find out what types of interventions are the most time-demanding and to compare the times spent during fire fighting operations by professional and voluntary PO brigades, and thus to find out which PO brigades spend the longest time at fires. The research was carried out on the basis of the data acquired from the SSU programme for the period from 2006 to 2010. The analysis of the time spent on interventions for the period monitored was carried out for all the PO brigades on the whole, separately for professional and voluntary brigades, and measurement was carried out at JPO I. The hypothesis was verified, professional HZS brigades of the South Bohemian Region spend a longer time at a fire fighting intervention than the SDH brigades do. The research found out that both PO brigades and professional brigades spend most time at the intervention type known as ?technical assistance?, while least time is spent at the event type known as ?other extraordinary events?.

Lipid lowering treatment substantially reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The effects of lipid lowering go far beyond limiting the extent of atheroslcerotic lesions and decreasing the severity of atherosclerotic stenoses. Recently recognised effects of cholesterol on plaque stability, endothelial function, thrombosis, and plaque inflammation have been subject to intensive research during the past two decades. The effect lipid lowering treatment on the various aspects of the plaque development are being investigated in search of novel therapies to reduce the risk of ahterosclerosis. In this work, we examined cell adhesion molecules, microvascular reactivity and metalloproteinase PAPP-A in patients with hypercholesterolemia and investigated the effect of lipid lowering with atorvastatin and LDL-apheresis. Leukocyte and endothelial adhesion molecules mediate leukocyte recruitment into subendothelial space, contributing thus to plaque inflammation. PAPP-A is a protease which has been related to plaque instability and acute coronary events; it's role in stable atherosclerotic lesions hasn't been studied yet Microvascular reactivity is supposed to reflect endothelial function in the microvascular bed; the knowledge of the effect of hyperlipidemia on microvasculature is currently limited. Patients with...

Studying of atorvastatin effects lipid profile in mice models of atherosclerosis.
Slanařová, Martina ; Nachtigal, Petr (advisor) ; Hyšpler, Radomír (referee)
Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease of blood vessels with a successive, very slow progress which takes many years and ,,plugs"disabled vessels. Faults and changes in representation and quantity of lipoproteins are for this disease very typical. In human medicine is mostly used medication Statins during a therapy of dyslipoproteinemia. The aim is this thesis was to describe the changes of biochemical lipoproteins levels at the various mice models of atherosclerosis. Furthermore we wanted to describe the changes lipids after administering of atorvastatin in apoE-defitient mice and apoE/LDLr-deficient mice. Female of apoE-deficient mice and apoE/LDLr-deficient mice were divided into a control and with atorvastatin treated group, where atorvastatin was administered in a period of 8 weeks in a dose of 100 mg/kg mouse. Biochemical analysis of lipids was performed by a separation method of lipoproteins by means of ultracentrifugal technique. Biochemical analysis of blood of apoE-deficient mice demonstrated, that 8 weeks atorvastatin treatment in a dose of 100 mg/kg significantly increased levels of total cholesterol, VLDL, LDL and HDL cholesterol. The blood analysis of apoE/LDLr-deficient mice demonstrated, that 8 weeks long treatment with atorvastatin in the same doses significantly reduced...

The issue of prevention and early detection for patients with vertebrogenic syndrome in the cervical spine
HORKÁ, Michaela
This bachelor thesis deals with preventive measures and early detection of the vertebrogenic algic syndrome in the cervical spine. Vertebrogenic algic syndrome is a pain in different parts of the spine, which is one of the most common reasons for doctor visits. An alarming fact is that up to 80% of adults face these difficulties up and age of patients is constantly decreasing. Most common cause is poor posture, cervical spine injuries, mental health, degenerative changes, tumors and more. Part of this work is devoted to the prevention of vertebral problems. In these modern times, when the use of computers, laptops, tablets, became the ordinary matter, it is necessary to raise awareness of the basic ergonomic principles when using these devices, modifying work and home environment. The theoretical part is supposed to inform about the causes, mechanisms and physiotherapy practice in the treatment of vertebrogenic algic syndrome. It includes basic knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics of the cervical spine and preventive measures concerning the ergonomics of the working environment, sleeping position and appropriate sports activities. For the practical part of the thesis has been used qualitative research method. Qualitative research was done in the form of case studies of three persons. Each was subjected to an input and output kinesiology examination and history-taking in the form of a structured interview. The probands were interviewed regarding home and work ergonomics. The therapy lasted five weeks at the Health centre Medipont in České Budějovice. The task of the practical part was to use physiotherapy techniques to alleviate pain in a particular segments of the cervical spine and report about basic preventive measures. The result is the production of an educational booklet that contains exercises to stretch and release the cervical spine, basic ergonomic positions accompanied by photographs. This brochure will be available at the front desk at the Health centre Medipont in České Budějovice, in waiting rooms of general practitioners in Jemnice as a practical and synoptical helper in the fight against the problems in the cervical spine. This bachelor thesis could increase an awareness among general public about preventive measures and how to prevent pain in the cervical spine. Furthermore, it can be used by clinical practice physiotherapists in the treatment of vertebrogenic algic syndrome.

Annual assessment the water treatment plant Dolní Věstonice
Kovář, Jan ; Vachovec, Roman (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the annual assessment of trial operation of the wastewater treatment plant in Dolní Věstonice. Th e theoretical part focuses on ways wastewater services for municipalities sizes 2001 - 10 000 EO. The following are the most frequently observed indicators which are reported in the current legislation. The practical part is focused on describing the wastewater treatment plant and to assess its condition at the time of trial operation. Calculated parameters of volume and hydraulic loads are then compared with the original proposal in the project documentation. The values of substance loads are compared with current legislation on implementation of runoff. Below are caused failures and problems in the prior operation. A conclusion is determined by energy class watched cleaners in terms of energy consumption.

Treatment of arterial hypertension
Mlčochová, Michaela ; Tilšer, Ivan (advisor) ; Mladěnka, Přemysl (referee)
Topic: Therapy of arterial hypertension Author: Michaela Mlčochová Arterial hypertension is one of the most common diseases of cardiovascular system. Long-lasting high blood pressure is associated with development of organ damage and adverse prognosis. Accurate diagnosis and precision treatment decrease markedly the risk of hypertensive and atherosclerotic complications such as coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular events, heart failure and end-stage renal disease. Most of the hypertensive patients require pharmacological treatment to attain recommended levels of blood pressure. Lifestyle modification shoud be a part of the treatment of all hypertensive patients. Present pharmacotherapy offers a range of drug classes (ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, diuretics, ARBs, beta-blockers), which demonstrated favourable influence on cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. They are suitable for montherapy as well as combination therapy. Recently, the combination therapy is emphasizes because of great number of hypertensive patients have an inadequate blood pressure control.
