Design of pram
Snášel, Martin ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
Pram is more complicated product, than you may think. Regular first opinion puts pram into some sort of toy but it is exactly contrary. This product contains user’s demands from two point of view - parents and baby. These users have different needs and - as we are get used today - we want to have not just working stuffs but modern, nice and make it naturally like part of our lifes. We can’t prefer design and leave functionality behind or make it really complicated to produce just with efford create something new. In this project I tried find compromise and come out with design with new features, ideas and experimental look but with same function ability. Main point of designing the pram was create universal pram with easy use during whole first 3 baby periods (from 0 to 2 years old baby) and decrease the final number of needed parts. I focused on original design and carriage parts which can be formed according to baby needs. Create universall pram but also easy to transport and fold. There are two main features designed completelly from scratch: modifiable carriage part and design attractive no center axis wheels.

Prevention of gun abuse
RYBOVÁ, Eva
Firearms misuse is a serious social problem. This poses an urgent need to handle the situation because of its social dangerousness and also for educative purposes. Firearms have become the predominant weapons used by mankind. In 20th century the development of firearms hit its most rapid pace. Firearms became effective, popular but also dreaded accessories of people. They have often changed human fate or even social structures. When used they have had a positive or negative impact according to the purpose, the period and the place. Nowadays firearms are being used for other purposes such as hunting, collecting and sport. There are special laws and regulations to be followed while using firearms in our country. Despite this fact we can see law violations and the criminal use of firearms which leads to injuries and deaths. My thesis brings the analysis of the current firearms regulations in our country. I compare statistical data from the period of 2005, 2006 and 2007 relating to persons possessing the licence to carry arms, firearm permits and legally owned fireams and the criminal offences committed by using firearms. A prevention program with the objective to reduce criminal firearm activites is suggested. It is aimed at preschool children, school children, teenagers, but also at persons owning firearm permits and licences to carry firearms themselves. The last part of the program is focused on detection of illegally owned firearms. It is the Police of the Czech Republic who organize the preventive activities with the cooperation of other state organizations. The Police of the Czech Republic are not only a repressive authority. Their service contributes to feelings of safety and happy living of citizens in our country.

Model agreements on double taxation avoidance in the practice of the Czech Republic
Taschner, Lukáš ; Kotáb, Petr (advisor) ; Novotný, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with international taxation, which is becoming an increasingly important issue due to the globalization of world economy in recent decades. International taxation is a broad topic including a variety of problems concerning it. Among the most important recognized phenomena are International double taxation and tax evasion. The conclusion of bilateral tax treaties seems to be the most efficient instrument for their solutions so far. Model Tax Conventions have been prepared by international organizations for the purposes of coordination of structure, wording and interpretation of numerous bilateral agreements. The OECD Model Treaty and the UN Model Treaty are widespread worldwide, being legally non- binding models for negotiations of bilateral agreements. In addition to those, the proposal of a new multilateral European Union Treaty has appeared. It should be signed by all members of the European Union, and it would replace all bilateral agreements concluded between the EU member states. Within the global community of other states and nations, the Czech Republic has an open and liberal economy. Therefore, it is necessary for the Czech Republic to have all international tax issues ensured with each economic partner. Over the past twenty years, the Czech Republic has concluded 67 out...

History of the Bohemian Dominican Province in the Early New Age 1435-1790
Zouhar, Jakub ; Čornejová, Ivana (advisor) ; Petráň, Josef (referee) ; Černušák, Tomáš (referee)
This paper attempts to review the history of the Bohemian Dominican Province, specifically the history and impact of the Dominican Order on the life in the Lands of the Czech Crown at this time. There is a period of decline in prestige of the Order in the 15th and 16"' centuries but it is followed by a period of rebirth of its intellectual potency in the 17th century. The convents of the Dominican Order, as well as many of other Orders, were dissolved by the emperor Joseph II in the 1780s. I also pay close attention to the relationship between the Dominican Order and the Jesuits during the 17th and 18th centuries. The importance of this study for more detailed future research of the history of the Dominican Order is indisputable. I know of no other work dealing with this problem. I use mainly primary sources. The characteristic type of documents is Order chronicles, official documents and some historical works written by the members of the Order in the 17th and 18th century. Many of the documents are filed in the National Archive of the Czech State (Is1 department) and in the General Archive of the Dominican Order in Rome (Italy). Many of them have been unknown up to this time. In conclusion of this introduction I would like sum up that this paper has an ambition to reopen a new research and study of the...

Education on human for social communication
Kudová, Lucie ; Pelcová, Naděžda (advisor) ; Semrádová, Ilona (referee) ; Hogenová, Anna (referee)
The dissertation points out the huge potential of social communication that is often undervalued. It tries to clear of scientist interpretation of communication. It is understood in a simplified way only as a flow, retrieval, providing, and handing atomized pieces of information on. This work attempts philosophical divulgence of the sense and of the core of communication. At the same time there is used multidisciplinary attitude to the issue as well. Philosophy interprets communication not only as universal condition of human being, as a mean of mutual understanding and sympathy, but also as searching and forming of one's own identity. Even if helpful, dialogical social communication has to master its own crisis (true partnership, co-existence, solidarity and unity wasted somewhere) which immediately contributed to the series of further crisis (including the crisis of upbringing) it remains the only possible way to master all manner of crisis. Solution is then considered in training to social communication, to dialogical conflict solving. We should learn to tolerate and to understand the other man. Education should take care of improving of social communication and finding ways of new possibilities. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Glass Finds of the Roman Period in Bohemia
Kacl, Pavel ; Košnar, Lubomír (advisor) ; Venclová, Natalie (referee)
The thesis is focused on the finds of glass and faience which are to be found in the form of beads and pendants, vessels, inlays, game pieces, bracelets and a "window" in the bottom of a ceramic urn. The most common are glass and faience beads. Their occurrence increases in the Late Roman Period substantially when new ornament styles come into being as well. Because of the predominant cremation rite, the knowledge is limited for the poor condition as a large amount of glass artefacts was deformed. In view of the fact that the majority of the beads originates from the classical antiquity world, they represent a vast number of imported goods, which may have been traded in Barbaricum as well. The long necklaces reflect obviously the higher social status of buried women. Nevertheless, the same statement cannot be considered to be applicable for lower numbers of beads in graves. Even some male graves with beads are known. The elite milieus are indicated also by the glass vessels, rather rare in the Roman Period Bohemia, the inlays on brooches or rings, as well as the game pieces. The Roman glass bracelets represent a rare sort of artefacts in Barbaricum. It is also possible to encounter some residues of the Iron Age glass, mostly on the settlements. Keywords glass - faience - Roman Period - imports - Bohemia

Implementation methodology of system for financial planning
Horváthová, Vladimíra ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Polanská, Anna (referee)
Connections of the World of Information Technologies and its surroundings are increasingly growing and nobody can be surprised that the key success business factors are, for instance, correct and consistent processes supported by informational system. To implement this kind of back-office system doesn't already mean to get a competitive advantage, so therefore systems which support a decision making (also noticed as MIS, management information system) are becoming a standard. Implementation of any information system in a specific environment is a complex process which contains a lot of methods, procedures and tools which are called together as a methodology. The main aim of this work is the concept of the implementation methodology for financial planning and controlling software. This concept is based on the exact software which is already implemented and used in practice all over the world, but its implementation is always a matter of the particular provider. However, the output of this work is the methodology which is used as an internal material in a company I work nowadays for, it can be also an inspiration or a formal order of the implementation of similar system. Whole work could be divided into three components which are leading to reach the main aim. First two fragments are introducing systems which support decision making, and they are also informing about current market situation and requirements of planning and controlling upheld by these tools. The third part is concerned with the implementation of information systems and it is introducing existing methodologies which are used within MIS implementations. The last part is fundamental and practical, it contains actual concept of the implementation methodology with its practical example.

Placing the patient after total hip replacement and nursing care.
KUBEŠOVÁ, Hana
Today, a total hip replacement is often the only way for millions of people around the world how to return to normal life and live a full life without pain. To returning to a full life after a total hip replacement it is needed, however, sufficient information provided by nurses, given not only to patients but also to their relatives. A nurse plays an important role in giving information, because she accompanies a patient not only during the entire hospitalization period, but also during the whole preoperative period, related to a patient´s visits to the outpatient section. A nurse should not only be fully aware of the nursing care before and after surgery, but should be able to adequately inform patients before the hospital admission and to ensure patients´ smooth return to normal life. The survey was carried out through in-depth interviews with ten randomly selected patients after a total hip replacement. The patients were hospitalized in the orthopedic department of the hospital in Tábor. The research group consisted of five women and five men. The patients were asked several additional questions to determine how and when they had been informed about the total hip replacement. It was also necessary to find out how they had been informed about the movement regimen before the hospital admission, and if there had been any problems during hospitalization that might have been associated with the discharge to home care. The main objective of this study was to methodically determine the patients´ awareness before the total hip replacement, to identify the most frequent problems of patients after the hip surgery and to analyze the needs of patients after the total hip replacement before the hospital discharge. The research survey has found that patients had been given information by the nurses in a sufficient extent, but only at the time of hospitalization, which in some cases proved to be inadequate. Some patients did not manage to adequately prepare their domestic environment, including compensation aids facilitating the movement after the hip joint replacement and had to deal with this issue through the mediation of their family during their hospitalization. Owing to the information submitted late, for example, the period of hospitalization may be prolonged unplannedly because the patient is not sufficiently prepared to be discharged to home care. The investigation has shown that it would be desirable to enhance the awareness of patients before the hospital admission to the hip surgery, e.g. through the form of information meetings. Then patients would have the opportunity to get ready both compensation aids suitable for the movement regimen after the total hip replacement and the home environment before the surgery so that they could be discharged to home care at any time. Patients´ awareness before the surgery is an important part of quality nursing care provided to patients and leads to patients´ satisfaction.
