Re/construction of masculine identity among men with disabilities within the Czech auto/biographical narrative
Šnokhous, Petr ; Kolářová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Vodochodský, Ivan (referee)
Re/construction of masculine identity among men with disabilities within the Czech auto/biographical narrative. The diploma thesis thematizes intersection of masculinity/ masculinities and disability. It focuses on mechanisms and strategies that are used for self-defining by men with disabilities in the intention of hegemonic discourse of masculinity. These mechanisms and strategies are uncovered on the strength of chosen autobiographical and biographical texts. Content of czech autobiographical and biographical textual material is compared and it serves as a background for critical interpretation of particularly circumscribed narrative of disability in the context of manliness within the czech sociocultural milieu. Epistemological and ontological scope is social constructivism resp. critical theory paradigm. Method of deconstruction is a qualitative content analysis focused on manhood acts creating a sense of male non/normative body through interaction, relation and categorization. Men with disabilities are conceived by processes of re/masculinization and normalization, which are linked to marginalized status and disadvantageous sociocultural representations of the men with non-normative bodies. Keywords: masculinity/ masculinities, disability, intersectionality, auto/biography, narrative,...

Economic Diplomacy in the 21st Century
Sláma, Tomáš ; Plechanovová, Běla (advisor) ; Kučerová, Irah (referee)
This study examines the changing nature of the economic diplomacy in past and recent years. Since the end of the Cold War, there has been an important dynamics in the international relations. The consequences of this dynamics touch also the economic diplomacy, which is transformed by the effects of the economic globalisation and becomes more complex and important at the same time; it becomes one of the most influental instruments of state's foreign policy. The growing complexity means that there has been new players, issues and arenas emerged. New players, state and non-state; the latter have deep impact on the nature of economic diplomacy. Bussiness sector, represented mostly by transnational companies (TNCs) and "the global civil society" represented vy international non-governmental organisations (INGOs) shift the balance of power within the state. The central role of state is challenged and his power fragmentised. Except this horisontal widening of economic diplomacy yb growing numbers of its actors, it is also deepening in terms of its agenda. The national policies become internationalised or even globalised (services, investment, enviroment, customer protection, labour standards) and the regulation of international trade puts pressure on national governements to to reconsider the strategy and their...

Contrast in image aquired by scintillation SE detector for VP SEM
Koudela, Oldřich ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Jirák, Josef (advisor)
First part of this thesis is a theoretical essay which deals with the basics of scanning electron microscopy, with structure and function of a scanning electron microscope, its’ special case of an various pressure scanning electron microscope, electron interaction with surrounding environment and with a scintillation detector. The applied part of the thesis is focused on evaluation of material contrast on Cu-W specimen. Material contrast is evaluated for different pressures of water vapors in the microscope specimen chamber and for different detection conditions.

Assessment of soil quality processed with conventional tillage in the selected site in the Olomouc region
Drlíková, Barbora ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Kameníčková, Ivana (advisor)
Diploma thesis documents the problems of soil quality, which is assessed on the basis of physical, chemical or biological indicators of soil quality. The paper describes the various indicators, its methodology and evaluation. In the practical part evaluates the quality of soil cultivated with the traditional way - using plowing. The experimental area, where the samples were taken from the soil, lies in the Olomouc region in the municipality Šumvald. Evaluated were selected physical, chemical and physico-chemical properties of soil, e.g. particle size distribution, bulk density, porosity, air capacity, hydrolimits, pH, carbonates, humus content and salinity of the soil.

Vertical distribution of Cs-137 in uncultivated soils
HÁJEK, Daniel
As for the long-term contamination, radiocaesium (137Cs) is the most important element. Caesium is absorbed by both human bodies and plants and it stays deposited especially in the surface layers of the soil. The first part of the bachelor thesis includes a theoretical overview relating to the issue being dealt with along with the introduction into the gamma spectrometry. As for the reference books dealing with the issue of the radioactive caesium and its migration in the soil, the samples had been collected in larger layers surface (0 - 5 cm) and bottom (5 - 20 cm) only. However, for the purposes of this thesis, the samples of individual soils were collected in one-centimetre layers, with the aim to find out in which layer of the soil the most 137Cs is occurred, because it is supposed that 137Cs has been within reach of the root zone of plants. The distribution of radionuclides in the soil is affected with several main factors. There are also clear differences between the cultivated and non-cultivated soil. The samples of the measured soils were collected in the Šumava Protected Landscape Area in the surroundings of Kvilda, Horská Kvilda, Modrava, Bučina, Borová Lada, Zadov and Nové Hutě. The result gamma spectrum was evaluated with the high-resolution germanium detector combined with multi-channel analyser in GAMAT at the State Office for Nuclear Safety (SÚJB) in České Budějovice. Based on all measurements it was found out that the largest amount of 137Cs is deposited in the first layer of the soil, however, there is a minimal difference compared with layer two. The most 137Cs is deposited in the surface layers of the soil, which reaches to the plant root zone. Also the distribution of 137Cs in soil is obvious from the obtained data.

Economic consequences of China's One-child policy
Letko, Roman ; Bartůsková, Lucia (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Tomáš (referee)
The objective of this diploma thesis is to describe and to complexly evaluate Chinas one child policy from its introduction in 1979 till its abandonment in 2015. Theoretical part of thesis offers a detailed description of the policy, its application in real life, circumstances and aims that led to the implementation of the policy. Applied part of thesis analyses its effect on the fertility rate, population growth and economic growth. According to the results of this analysis one child policy helped to decline Chinas fertility rate and population growth, however its impact is just partial. The decline of Chinese population growth then contributed to the economic growth; my estimate is that it composed 40 % of average annual growth of real GDP per capita. One child policy is also responsible for raising sex ratio and ageing of population in China. These demographic problems let to its replacement by two child policy that probably wont solve these problems.

Semiaquatic bugs as predators and prey and their use in natural history teaching
JANDA, Václav
The aim of this thesis is to create an overview of scientific findings about the prey and the predators of the representatives of infraorder Gerromorpha, their feeding habits and defence strategies against predators. Gerromorphans are adapted for life on the surface of various water bodies ranging from puddles to open ocean. Majority of water striders feed on insect fallen upon water surface, hatching larvae of aquatic insect or micro-crustacean. Gerromorphans locate their prey by sight and by sensory detection of ripples at water surface caused by prey. Gathering in schools turned out to be an efficient defence strategy against predators. Some species have compound eyes with specialized ommatidia which enable them to see prey on the surface as well as predator under surface. A proposal of the use of Gerromorpha in natural history teaching is part of this thesis. Gerromorphans are convenient for teaching of natural history thanks to the possibility of observation of piercing and sucking mouthparts and various food relations such as predation, cannibalism or kleptobiotic relation. Undemanding rearing of gerromorphans enables easy realization of experiments and observations under school conditions.

Práce se dá rozdělit na teoretickou část a část s mým vlastním přínosem. Do teoretické patří představení škol, vysvětlení hodnotících kritérií pro weby, základní pojmy a stručný vývoj webu. V mé části jsou vysvětleny metody hodnocení (funkčních prvků a obsahu), popsány hodnocené školy, zhodnoceny formou tabulky, slovy a pomocí grafů.
