Subject of this diploma thesis is leasing. There is shown legislative, and tax framework of leasing, diversification of leasing and leasing market in the Czech Republic and EU. One part is dedicated to comparison of different financing types from different suppliers. Financial calculations used in leasing and loan products are shown in specific part. Additional products, contract closure and live of the contracts are summarized in the final part.

Economy of contemporary Czech hunting within European Union

The master thesis deals with evaluation of the economic status of hunting in the Czech Republic within European Union. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first part is focused on economic-theoretical approaches in relation to hunting, defines basic terms and outlines the most important legislative regulations. The component is also the issue of the valuation of wildlife in the Czech Republic in comparison with neighbour states. The second chapter is about legislative regulations, programmes and policies of the European Union in relation to hunting. In this part there are listed the most important organizations and their influence on game management in the Czech Republic. The final chapter is devoted to evaluation of game management in the Czech Republic according to profits and costs. This section evaluates the status of the most important species of wildlife in the Czech Republic with the reference to main problems and their possible solutions. The component of this part is the case study focusing on the management of the Hunting Association Chotěbudice.

The prohibition of gambling in Czech cities and their economic efficiency since 2010

The bachelor thesis is about an evaluation of economic efficiency of prohibition of gambling in selected Czech cities since 2010. The theoretical part contains a definition of basic terms, a chapter about social costs and it also deals with a prohibition and the shadow economy. The practical part contains chapters about current legislation, about gambling market in the Czech Republic, next chapter is about methodology and at the end of this part there is the evaluation of economic efficiency. This chapter deals with an explanation why we can call the prohibition inefficient. It is also a resume of the thesis which is back up an argument of progress of total social costs and total revenues. The bachelor thesis, in spite of other Czech papers, works with presumption that the social costs are produced by pathological gamblers and it deals just with the original social costs. That is the reason why the thesis provides an original quantification of the social costs and new view on problems which are connected with regulation of gambling.

Development of Public Libraries of the Pilsen Region 1990-2010

This thesis analyzes the development of public libraries in the Pilsen Region in 1990-2010. The work focuses on the major issues of development of public libraries from the perspective of the Pilsen Region macrosystem, especially the volume of data and system changes. In the first three chapters are given general information about public libraries and their functions, information about the Pilsen Region (former West Region) and library legislation. The main characteristic of the work of bringing the two periods, 1990-1999 and 2000-2010, public libraries in the Pilsen Region. These chapters analyze the changes that affected the functioning of libraries in the monitored phases. The consequences of changes thesis looks through the selected statistical indicators of the years. These changes illustrated in graphic form furnished comments. The last section concludes and evaluates the development of public libraries of the Pilsen Region in 1990-2010. Thesis is equipped with text and spreadsheet attachments. [Author's abstract].

Supervision over financial activity

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe and analyze supervision of financial activities in the Czech Republic. The thesis is structured into three chapters, which focuses on analysis of actual acts of CNB supervision in connection to the legal basis. The first chapter defines supervision of financial activities reflecting its historical development, economical aspect and basic trends in financial market regulation. The second chapter is the main part which describes the status and activities of the Czech National Bank in the position of the supervisory authority. The emphasis is placed especially on supervisory and regulatory activity, which represents the core of this thesis. Supervision is characterized from the methodological point of CNB's approach. Different types of supervision and regulation executions are also analyzed in this thesis.

Analysis of selected funds by Pioneer Investments

The thesis deals with market for collective investments in the Czech Republic, the principles of mutual funds business, legal coverage and performance. Specifics of collective investments in the Czech Republic and legislation are clarified in the first part. In the second part the basic methods of evaluating the mutual funds performance are described. The second chapter includes the presentation of Pioneer Investments, of which mutual funds are subject of performance analysis. The practical part is focused on the analysis of selected, previously characterized, mutual funds managed by Pioneer Investments. These funds are compared with performance of other competitive funds on the market.

Veseli Nad Moravou Station Reconstruction

The subject of the Master's thesis is to design the redevelopment of the Veseli nad Moravou railway station. This renovation will include renewal of both, railway superstructure and substructure, including drainage system and new platform construcion proposal in order to meet current legislation regarding access of persons with reduced mibility and orientation skills. This thesis also deals with design of the track geometry compoments and geometry of set of switches at both heads of the railway station to fulfill the maximum train velocity demands at certain tracks. Last but not least, the rail track scheme of the station has been simplified.

Upgrading of Moravské Bránice and Rakšice Railway Stations

The topic of this thesis is the study of reconstruction railway station Moravské Bránice and railway station Rakšice in order to insert new platforms, according to current legislation. In railway station Moravské Bránice it was necessary to design at least 3 platform edges, in railway station Rakšice it was necessary to design at least 2 platform edges.

The performace of function of a member of the board of directors in the joint stock company

The bachelor thesis concerns with the performance of function of a member of the board of directors in the joint stock company. Chapters about commencement and termination of function and its prerequisites follow after a brief characterization of the joint stock company. The crucial part is dedicated to rights and duties arising from this function, including remuneration. The attention is also focused on liability for breaching duties of the member. Legislation is compared with practice of the courts. A special chapter deals with changes from January 1, 2014 connected with Companies Act.

Erotica in a puppet animated film

Eroticism and pornography in animated puppet film is a niche genre. Nevertheless, it deserves attention for its unique means of expression. The subject matter of this thesis is a reflection on the relationship between corporeality and the puppet in film. It also includes selected auteur independent films and their analysis, in which sexual behavior is the prevalent topic or which contain explicit erotic scenes. The puppet functions as a representation of human body; specifically, within the context of this thesis, of the body in erotic situations. The body of the puppet becomes a representation of our own body. With the emergence of new technologies, we can become a representation of the puppet, which in turn becomes a puppeteer, an animator. The principle of identification with the main protagonist is essential for interpretation of the role and function of the puppet in film. One of the key instruments of interpretation of the role of the puppet in film and understanding its function in film. The chosen theme is accompanied by definitions of key terms and a brief overview of legislation concerning pornographic animated film.
