Activation of speaking skills of advanced students

The theoretical part of my Diploma thesis deals with activation of speaking of advanced students during German language lessons. The emphasis is especially put on tools that can be used to achieve students' higher speaking activity. The newest information in the field of educational objectives provided by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is also taken into consideration. In the practical part I present my own ideas how to liven up lessons and force students to speak actively.

Three phase bone scintigraphy in diagnostics of neuropathic osteoarthropathy in diabetic patients

As required by the Centre for Preventive Medicine, 3rd Faculty of Medicine at graduation work is necessary to choose a theme and Prevention. The topic of his thesis Three-phase bone scintigraphy in the diagnosis of diabetic neurogenic arthropathy I chose this as a basic condition very well suited. Diabetes mellitus is a disease with high incidence of serious and complications whose research, particularly in the etiology, prevention and therapy, the emphasis in all developed countries. A common complication of diabetes is called diabetic foot. The main etiologic factors leading to the development of diabetic foot, diabetic neuropathy, and ischemia. Serious consequences Diabetic foot ulcers are, gangrene and amputation. Charcot arthropathy (Choate) is one of the complications of patients with diabetic neuropathy. Diagnosis Choate is problematic primarily because that this diagnosis often thinks of a confused with other diseases, especially with osteomyelitis, phlegmon, arthritis or osteoporosis. Determination correct diagnosis depends mainly on the expression of suspicion for this disease medical history and clinical presentation and exclusion of other possible causes by laboratory and imaging methods. U.S. position in international trade

The first chapter of the thesis analyzes the current economic development in the United States and assess its impact on the development of foreign trade. Emphasis is placed on the impact of financial crisis, weakening U.S. dollar against other world currencies and the state of balance of payments. The second chapter aims to present the direction of U.S. trade policy, its objectives, instruments and institutional support. The third chapter is devoted to the position of the United States in the multilateral trading system and their role in intergovernmental organizations in the field of international trade.

Access to information collections for disabled users in academic libraries

Tématem práce je analýza současné úrovně služeb vysokoškolských knihoven uživatelům se zdravotním postižením. Práce se zabývá problematikou přístupnosti informačních zdrojů pro handicapované, zejména fyzickou přístupností fondů knihoven pro tělesně postižené uživatele. Předmětem zájmu je rovněž problematika percepce informací u zrakově a sluchově postižených. Součástí práce je také popis služeb a nástrojů k odstranění bariér při využívání IT zrakově handicapovanými uživateli. Důraz je kladen na zajištění svobodného přístupu k informacím v klasické i elektronické formě. Zmiňována je také důležitost informační gramotnosti pro celoživotní vzdělávání, které je nezbytností pro úspěšné uplatnění se v současné společnosti. Cílem práce je podat přehled o problematice přístupu k informacím ze strany handicapovaných uživatelů a zhodnocení současného stavu služeb vysokoškolských knihoven na základě provedeného průzkumu.

Hardware design of diesel injection system control unit

This master’s thesis deals with the basic design of diesel injection control unit hardware. There is a description of the whole blocks of Motorpal Common Rail diesel injection system in the introduction. Next are described requirement of control unit hardware. In the following are descriptions of parts, which was choosed for adjustment. The second part of thesis describes the whole design of control unit wiring diagram. There is described each block in detail in this part. Next part describes component placement on printed circuit board. The conclusion of thesis compare designed version of control unit with elderly versions.

The thesis called The Competence and Activity of Regional Authority in region Vysočina in the Educational Field focuses on two key subjects -- educational system and public administration. Following chapters are connected with Region Vysočina. In the end of this thesis the practical study is elaborated.This thesis is based on specialized publications, legal regulations in field of education, statistics, official Internet sources (Region Vysočina, Ministry of Education, UNESCO, EU), own experience, in-house documents of primary and nursery school in Věžnice, data from the municipal office in Věžnice, discussions with director and accountant of the school in question and discussions with the establishment of Education department at the regional authority in Jihlava.

Management of Helicobacter pylori infection and dyspepsia in primary care

This thesis is devoted to dyspepsia and Helicobacter pylori infection, both significant issues for primary care. Various epidemiological and clinical studies from primary care are described. Current scientific opinions on dyspepsia and Helicobacter pylori infection important for optimal primary care management are presented. The critical interest of the author is in the severity of complaints and assessment of the individual risk of organic disease in patients presenting dyspepsia in primary care. In another study the author contributes to understanding and mutual cooperation between gastroenterologists and primary care physicians. The thesis concludes with practical guidelines, created as a result of interdisciplinary cooperation..

Upgrading of Uničov Railway Station

This thesis focuses on the reconstruction design of Uničov railway station. The aim was to create a solution which would satisfy both traffic and passenger requirements. The design puts an emphasis on a compliance with applicable laws and standards, simplicity and usefulness. New constructions were designed for maximum safety. Railway station accessibility for disabled persons played an important role in the design. In comparison with the original state, the permissible line speed was increased and new platforms and drainage system were designed.

Possibilities for developing sustainable transport in Prague

This diploma thesis is concerned with the issue of sustainable transport. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is placed on setting the concept of sustainable transport into a broader context; it also describes various factors influencing the choice of the means of transport, which is crucial for transport planning. Furthermore, it describes a set of diverse tools used for transport regulation. At the end of the theoretical part, it mentions specific approaches implemented in selected cities all over the world. The practical part is based on a significant personal research, which helps to understand the issues of transport in a selected area of Prague. On the basis of this research, it subsequently suggests possible measures that might lead to a decrease in the intensity of automobile transport in the aforementioned area. Most of those measures can be similarly applied in other city areas as well.
