Artistic objects in interior

Theoretical part of this diploma thesis sums up a wide theme of placing artistic objects in interior and exterior. Ideas like enviroment creating, atmosphere, space, construction, psychological aspects of architecture are mentioned. Basical tendences of placing the artistic objects and their function are defined. Some exaples of placing the artistic objects in architecture are named. In practical part of this thesis are worked up concepts for placing a concrete artistic object, redesign of logotype and informational system of cultural establishment ``Pasáž{\crqq} in Třebíč.

Brand Building of Freestyle Brands on the Example of Quiksilver

The diploma thesis "Brand Building of Freestyle Brands on the Example of Quiksilver" deals with the brand Quiksilver, its origin, development, global agency, its place on the Czech market and marketing strategies. The first part of this thesis covers the issues incorporated within the market of freestyle brands, their development and cultural environment in which they were formed. Furthermore, the term "freestyle brand" is introduced and its meaning is explained. In addition, a historical background of Quiksilver is provided. The brand's global importance is also described, starting with the sewing of the first shorts of Quiksilver in Torquay, Australia and moving to Huntington Beach, California, and subsequent global expansion. Quiksilver was originally a small local company, and gradually developed and expanded its product line to become one of the largest multinational companies in the field of freestyle brands. This thesis depicts Quicksilver's marketing activities on the global and the Czech market, where it has been around since 1991. Vision of oak in Slavonic societies

This thesis describes an iconic relationship to trees, especially oak, in the pre-Christian culture area. On the basis of wide excerpts the thesis characterizes the situation of pagan Slavs in the context of contemporary European cultural space. It describes the worship ceremonies of the oak, healing properties attributed to the oak and oak's feature in the myths creation of Indo-European and Finno-Ugric ethnic groups. The chapter of the current relationship man - tree concerns the development of this relationship, mentions the legislative acts relating to the trees and in the conclusion characterizes the role of the crisis of relationship man - tree to the overall moral crisis of the modern society.

The Megalithic Architecture of the Balearic Islands

Talayotic architecture arose on The Balearic Islands at the end of 2. millenium as syntesis of local megalitic culture of Bronze Age and cultural influence from central Mediterraen Sea, mainly from Sardinia and Corsica. The core of talayotic buildings was a naveta and megalithic tombs, whose using were abandoned just at the beginning of Iron Age. The talayotic architecture was developing on proper way in the manner of the insular cultures of occidental Mediterraen Sea until the Fenicians arrived ,in the same time the construction of talayots had declined. On the other hand the santuaries and taulas had reached their full using. Approximately in the 6 century in postalayotic period megalitic culture disapeared definitely. Last talayotic site were destroyed during Roman colonization.

Mnichovo Hradiště 1866-1895. Daily life of the small town in the second half of 19th century.

The diploma thesis outlines the history of the small district town in the second half of the 19th century from a political (government, local government, modernization), economical (transport, especially railways, industrial development) and cultural (socials, social activities, theatre, festivities) point of view. Attention is paid to social, national and religious problems and education. Included are also some portraits of the most prominent personalities of the town. Special Attention is paid to Austro-Prussian war (conflict between Austria and Prussia) in 1866 and on the impact of this exceptional event on people and life in the town. The work is based on archival materials stored in State district archive in Mladá Boleslav and Mnichovo Hradiště Municipal museum, local chronicles, handwritten memories of the local citizens and contemporary regoinal newspapers were taken into account as well as historical works of a synthetic character.

Højskole and their specifics in the Danish educational system

This Thesis provides a short analysis of theory, history, and practice of the so-called folkehjskole (folk high schools) that represents a Danish contribution to pedagogy with worldwide importance. Those schools resulted from the social and cultural climate in Denmark as well as from the intellectual creativity of the churchman, philosopher, historian, member of parliament, and bard N.F.S. Grundtvig as well as of the pedagogue and organizer Ch. Kold. The first one was founded in 1844 in Rdding, North Schleswig. The political situation after the war between Prussia and Denmark and the need to improve the education and competence of rural youth to develop their farms provided an impetus for those schools as well. Those free schools were run on new principles, independently from the state school system, and influenced very positively the development and democratization of Danish society. After some time elapsed, similar schools were founded in the whole Scandinavia, to lesser extent in other European countries, in some Scandinavian and other communities in the USA, during the recent years in some developing countries. Limited liability company: a comparison of legal regulation in the CR and Germany

Vývoj práva je výrazně ovlivněn harmonizací právních předpisů. Právní řády hledají společné principy a jako nevyhnutelné se jeví vytváření právních mostů mezi nimi. Zejména v právu obchodních společností, které se díky politice Evropské unie často mění, musí jednotlivé státy na tyto změny pružně reagovat. Komparace právních řádů okolních států, jejich zkoumání a rozbor se jeví jako velmi užitečné. Umožňuje identifikovat reformní směry jednotlivých zemí a odhadnout, čemu by se právní úprava měla přizpůsobit, respektive na co by se měla připravit a zároveň pomůže identifikovat stupeň sledování evropských tendencí. Pro porovnávání jsou nesmírně důležitá i historická východiska jednotlivých právních úprav, posouzení jejich kontinuitního, respektive diskontinuitního vývoje a rozbor důvodů, které k jednotlivým reformám v právní úpravě vedly. Německá spolková republika je naším sousedem jak z geografického, tak kulturního hlediska. Mezi Německem a Českou republikou existuje i určitá podmíněnost z důvodu krátkého společného vývoje českého a tamního právního řádu během druhé světové války. Společnost s ručením omezeným je celosvětově nejrozšířenější formou obchodní společnosti. Event marketing

Ve své rigorózní práci se zabývám problematikou event marketingu jako moderního nástroje využívajícího lidské emoce a prožitky k působení na spotřební chování jedinců, zejména pak jeho praktického využití v komunikačním mixu firem a organizací. Toto téma považuji za nesmírně zajímavé a podnětné nejen z obchodního, ale rovněž z kulturního, psychologického, sociologického hlediska. Jedním z hlavních důvodů výběru této problematiky je má aktivní činnost v marketingu a event marketingu obzvláště. Domnívám se tedy, že na těchto stránkách budu moci zhodnotit některé své praktické zkušenosti, a naopak pro mě nové poznatky, získané při podrobném studiu dostupných podkladů pro rigorózní práci, budou nepochybně přínosem pro mé budoucí působení v marketingu. Event marketing je v naší zemi poměrně novým komunikačním nástrojem, objevil se zde samozřejmě až několik let po revoluci v roce 1989, v první polovině 90. let 20. století. Někteří současní marketingoví pracovníci se s ním doposud blíže nesetkali a ne všechny firmy a instituce event marketing aktivně využívají. Dá se říci, že v našich podmínkách jde o území ještě ne zcela probádané a skrývající velký potenciál. Této situaci, bohužel, odpovídá též situace na poli odborné literatury věnované event marketingu. European hermetic philosophy of the 18th century

V první kapitole bude vysvětleno, co je hermetismus a jeho význam pro člověka, vztah hermetismu k imaginaci a vztah k jiným filozofiím. Vysvětlíme rovněž, v jakém významu budeme pojem používat. V druhé kapitole bude nastíněna geneze hermetismu a jeho vliv na společnost, charakteristika jeho nej silněj ších proudů do 17. století. Následovat bude krátký exkurz od 19. století do současnosti. Třetí kapitola bude věnována charakteristice "ducha doby" a paradigmatům 18. století, nastínění oficiální filozofie a kultury epochy. Zmíníme také názory pozdějších filozofů píšících o osvícenství. Čtvrtá kapitola bude poj ednávat o nejrůznějších hermetických řádech a spolcích, nedílnou součást tehdejší doby. Vysvětleny budou jejich cíle, tendence , vliv na společnost, vědu a poli tiku. Pátá kapitola představí vybrané osobnosti hermetické filozofie 18. století, jejich život, myšlenky, vliv a význam. V šesté kapitole rozebereme reflexe hermetismu a alchymie u Carla Gustava Junga i jiných autorů. Konečně sedmá kapitola bude věnována vlivu hermetismu na vybrané význačné osobnosti tehdejšího kulturního života.
