Community interest society

Grounds for the topic of my thesis are connected with approved Amendment Act of Community Interest Societies. The aim of the work is to explain reasons that made the legislation power approve the amendment (mentioned above), specification of the most essential features of legal entities of a non-profit sphere, and usage of comparative levelling of the original statutory text with the actual legal regulations. The thesis is devided into 8 chapters and results from the basic characteristics of legal entities of the non-profit sphere in relation to a short discursion respecting their historical evolution. Attention is paid to general definition signs of these legal entities. The work focuses on legal status a Community Interest Society in the context of the Czech Legal Order. Great attention is paid to the Amendment Act of a Community Interest Society, especially with respect to the newly constructed conception in the area of authorities status of Community Interest Society and alignment of their acticity. The thesis deals with procedural process during foundation and liquidation of that kind of non-governmental organization and activities that are typical of the Community Interest Society. Legal protection of industrial designs

This thesis deals with the legal protection granted to the industrial designs on the area of the Czech Republic since its beginning till the present time. It focuses on the differences of the present legal regulation of protection of industrial desings from the previous legal regulations. The core issue of the thesis is the legal regulation of beginning, continuance and expiration of the legal protection of an enlisted industrial design. It also deals with the various aspects connected with other problems of the right to protection of industrial designs from the point of view of the present legal regualation such as the rights arising from the enlisted industrial design, limitation of these rights and their expiration or legal means to protect the rights arising from the enlisted industrial design. The thesis deals also with the differences in the field of protection of a product according to the law on protection of industrial desings and on protection of authorship. A particular part of the thesis focuses on the international protection of industrial designs and on the protection of industrial designs in the framework of the European Union. Ethics in relation to social protection of children

This Bachelor's thesis deals with activities of the the Office for Social Protection of Children with emphasis on ethical aspects and support given to the OSPOD workers by employers. The paper analyses whether the level of support is sufficient, how it impacts on the efficacy of the OSPOD workers and who provides the funding. The theoretical part focuses on analysis of the ethical codes of the OSPOD workers and on activities of this institution. The practical part analyses in detail two selected bodies of the OSPOD, particularly from the perspective of the support provided by employers in dealing with ethical issues and looks at complaints dealt with by the Ombudsman with emphasis on the ethical aspects of the complaints. Based on the analyses of the selected OSPOD bodies, it can be concluded that the support in dealing with ethical issues provided by employers is sufficient, it has a positive impact on the outcome of the OSPOD activities and it is funded from subsidies for social and legal protection of children.
