The reproductive strategies of families in the Czech Republic

The Bachelor thesis deals with reproductive strategies and family behavior in the Czech Republic. The thesis points on changes in form, function and value of the family both in its evolution (especially characteristics of modern and traditional family). It describes changes in the Czech society since 1989 including the factors, which influence reproductive behavior of young people. The significant aspects describing the current Czech family include growing number of unmarried cohabitation, increasing number of illegitimate children, the increase of autonomy and individuality, post pohement of entry into marrge and birth of first child for later date, high divorce-rate and new alternative forms of family life. In the work are given this thesis oves these indicatous into historical end european context.

Coping with stress in women with alcohol abuse

Main theme of this work is generation of coping strategies by the women with alcohol dependence. Author is highlighting mounting society tolerance to stress and to alcohol abuse and she also shows this two phenomenon in mutual context. By the women side of population author particular describe dependence and border of society norm. Main goal is to bring to light and explore maladaptive strategies, by women with alcohol dependence, which are varied from ordinary population and the reason of such a behavior. To solve this issue author chose two methods. Firstly she uses data from TAT projective test, secondly verbal self examination test SVF. Inquire group of women author compare with control group of women, who embody no alcohol problem. Better success is expected from control group, because normal population should have better coping strategies. From result of research ensue, that women with alcohol dependence embody worse coping strategies indeed. But this difference is not such as strong as was expected. In declarative test SVF alcohol dependent women overestimate their strategies in comparison to TAT. On the base of this fact author offers hypothesis, that it can be only proclamation in presentation of coping strategies. Women from control group anticipate their strategies more accurately.

Psychosis and school reality, how to learn with psychosis

The subject of this thesis is difficulties with return to studies and the strategies of coping these situations of young people with serious mental illness. The theoretical part introduces the issue schizophrenia. It describes the difficulties and the deficits that arise in the person's life due to the illness. In detail, I explain the coping strategies of these people, the concept of early prevention and therapy of mentall illness and the international examples of supported education of people with schizophrenia. The practical part consists of five case studies of young people with psychosis who decided to return to their school life. The main issue of interest is finding the difficulties, that can appear in the process of the return, and especially tracking the strategies of coping the sdifficulties. As following, there is a wider picture of coping strategies discussed, the similarities and differences between the strategies of these five people explored and described strategies are related to the individual's studying success. Analysis of the Initial Implementation of CLIL in Mathematics Lessons

The thesis deals with the teaching of mathematics in English language as one possible application of CLIL, which indicates the non-language teaching (professional) courses in a language other than mother tongue. The work is divided into 7 chapters and a total of 8 annexes. Introductory chapters acquaint the reader with the goal of the study, selected terminology from the field of language learning and bilingualism, with CLIL - its history in the world and the Czech Republic, typical teaching strategies used in teaching CLIL, its models, benefits and research associated with the teaching of mathematics with this method. Further work presents the results of a survey of teachers of basic mathematics middle schools and mapped their experiences and views on teaching mathematics in a foreign (target) language. At the end of this chapter are specified research questions and sub-as of work. The main research questions are formulated, to what extent the influence of foreign language understanding of mathematics at an early stage in the implementation of CLIL lessons Mathematics in compliance with the scope and time spent in the classroom as a substance in a given degree in their own language. The public diplomacy and nation branding of small and medium states

In my thesis I will compare the public diplomacy and national branding of the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The goal of the thesis is to define, explore and evaluate these fields for both countries. This paper will focus on identifying different aspects of nation branding in these two countries and will aim to evaluate the strategy and sketch the recommendations. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. In the first part the author defines and describes public diplomacy as general term. The second part is dedicated to the public diplomacy of small and medium states. The last chapter focuses on the comparison of public diplomacy and nation branding of the Czech Republic and lesson that could be learned from Switzerland. The goals of this chapter are as follows. To compare aspects and specifics of these two states and evaluate specific activities developed by governments to improve the perception of their country by the foreign public.

Quality of life of wheelchairs

This bachelor work is aimed to find out and evaluate a quality of life of wheelchair disabled persons. The research was conducted between May 2005 and May 2007. The target group is represented by wheelchair disabled persons - paraplegics and tetraplegics, it means people that were either confined to a wheelchair because of a congenital defect in their very young age, or later in the course of their life because of a disease or injury of spine. The most frequent cause, why people become wheelchair disabled, is injury. There are circa two hundred people paralysed after an injury of spine in the Czech Republic every year that become wheelchair disabled. This is a very serious fact and, therefore, a special consideration has been given to the injuries. This work consists two parts {--} a theoretical and a research one. The theoretical part draws knowledge from an available literature, web sites, annual reports of medical organizations and legal regulations. In the second part, an independent research study was conducted, based on a detailed analysis of information collected by means of questioners and interviews. In total, data from 69 wheelchair disabled persons all over the Czech Republic were analyzed. The structure of respondents was considered according to their actual age, gender, age and reason of the wheelchair disability, education, marital status, believe, employment, hobbies, satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the quality of their life etc. The method of quantitative and qualitative analysis has been used.

This diploma thesis deals with the marketing strategy of a selected company. The selected company is Cloos Praha, spol. s r. o., which sells welding technology to industrial companies in the Czech republic and Slovakia -- so it concerns B2B segment. The theoretical part deals with the general solutions of creating the marketing strategy and marketing plan and then with the specifics of the B2B marketing. In the second part the daughter company Cloos Praha is introduced as well as the German mother company Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH an then it deals with the creation of the marketing strategy and marketing plan of Cloos Praha for the year 2014.

The Use of the Addictive Drugs by the Seniors

The bachelor thesis deals with using addictive substances by senior citizens. The age cathegoty 60+ should not be omitted when speaking of using addictive substances. Even senior citizens are users of some addictive substances, especially drugs. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and explorative one. There are four chapters in the theoretical part (Old age and ageing, Substance addiction, Addictive substances and their classification, Usage of addictive substances in the old age) and summarizes the knowledge from recent literature about this topic. First, the old age and ageing are described. This chapter deals with ageing and old age of the human. This work describes the right mental hygiene, too. Multi-factorial manifestation of the old age (biological, psychological and social) is mentioned as well. In the second chapter there are described the factors that increase probability of the addiction origin. These factors can be genetic, biological, and psychological. There are mentioned some system models of the formation, development and maintenance of addiction, dependence and definition of the signs that addiction manifests. The third chapter divides addictive substances between legal and illegal. There are their effects, impacts on the human organism decribed. The group of legal addictive substances are included tobacco, alcohol, drugs and certain foods. Illegal substances represented here by cannabis, hallucinogens, stimulants, opiates. The last fourth chapter focuses directly on the addictive behaviour of the senior citizens. Seniors are also users of substances with addictive potential. At first alcoholism is mapped, other chapters devote addiction to nicotine, drugs and narcotics. The main goal of the thesis is to determine whether seniors use an addictive substance. A partial goal of is to find out the extent and cause of using addictive substances by the senior population. To find out these goals there were used the principles of quantitive research. To collect the data there were used questionnaires, created all by the author. The questionnaires were created with open and closed questiones and used in the printed form. The research has been conducted in Sušice and its close surroundings in February 2015. Respondents were the people with the least age limit of 70 years. These were 40 people living in their households or home for elderly. The results show that also amongst senior citizens can be found those ones who use the addictive substances. Current problem are by the doctor prescribed drugs. Today´s senior citizen uses drugs regularly, very often also combination of more drugs. Seniors often use medication to relieve the pain because the pain occurs more frequently. They use drugs to help them sleep better, too. The next group of addictive substances, which this chapter deals with, are drugs with a shoothing effect. There are smokers between the senior citizens who bare this bad habit from their midlife. Some research shows that cannabis helps people with Parkinson's and Alzheimer´s disease. Seniors do not use cannabis for these purposes because it is not legal. Alcohol is drunk by older people on occassion, on the other hand there are also people who drink such an amount that is not considered as not-risky. Seniors do not drink so much on one occasion, compared to the young generation. In the thesis this problem is described more detailed. Results of the research can be used by lay public to understand issues of addictive substances better. This thesis can be source of information for students of healt-social fields of study and it can improve the awareness about reasons of using addictive substances amongs senior citizens.
