Czech as a foreign language
POULOVÁ, Nikola
I would like to research and concern with the Czech as a foreign language in my bachelor thesis because I think that this topic is and will be still topical. Several ten thousands of immigrants direct to the Czech Republic every year. The minimum of them has been already equipped by basics of Czech and the most of them start learning Czech up to the destination. I would like to focus on the possibilities of teaching Czech which are offered in the Czech Republic. The next focus would be what sort of style and where Czech is taught in the foreign countries and how difficult it is for foreigners.

The practical part analyses tax and transactions costs that concern property trading and a comparison of possibilities of amortisations and rentability of a rented flat in both countries.

Intercultural communication - sociocultural skills of students of Russian and English language at secondary schools
Poláčková, Vladimíra ; Žofková, Hana (advisor) ; Hlaváček, Antonín (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with problems of intercultural commnunication, especially with its role in foreign language teaching (chiefly Russian and English language). It introduces the term commnunicative skill as the fundamental goal of contemporary foreign language didactics because it represents the key skill which students of foreign language should acquire. In the first place it is focused on sociocultural skill which represents partial component of communicative skill. The practical part of the thesis is based on via questionaire survey and presents stereotypes and prejudice of students at secondary schools about nationalities whose languages they study. It also presents a probe in students' knowledge of sociocultural customs in countries whose languages they study. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Serverless single page application in JavaScript
Zikmund, Marian ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Suchan, Vladimír (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to design and develop a framework for building modern single- page application in the JavaScript programming language and describe this approach to development. The work also contains the documentation for a more comfortable use and customization. The content is divided into eight chapters. The introduction is followed by the retrieval of information resources, including the specifics of the JavaScript programming language and explanation of the formation of single-page application. The description of the basic principles of their functioning, motivation and justification, when and why this approach is appropriate is also included. The work is primarily focused on the issue of single-page application, for which the use of the JavaScript programming language is crucial. For this reason, this work provides a whole chapter about this programming language, also including a description of its history and role in the context of others. Below are the common characteristics of single-page applications frameworks, built on top of the library ReactJS, whose formation is engaged in the following chapter. The developed framework also contains the user guide. The practical outcome of this work is an open source framework for creating serverless single-page applications, which is due to its architecture and documentation appropriately adaptable.

Multicultural Education as Philosophical problem
Morvayová, Petra ; Pelcová, Naděžda (advisor) ; Horák, Josef (referee) ; Bendl, Stanislav (referee)
The thesis deals with multicultural education definition and practice antinomies and with paradoxes arising from its bases that are destabilizing its concept and disputing its potential to fulfil the aims that are proposed by. Our analysis insists on findings and approaches coming from philosophical, philosophical antropology perspectives, from philosophy of social science, sociology of knowledge, theories issue from social and cultural antropology, political philosophy and post-structuralist philosophy of language that takes language as an instrument or image of understanding and word sense as an intertextual. The aim of this text is to introspect terms, definitions, constructs and optics of multicultural education concepts from the point of view of critical philosophy of education. Machine learning of formal languages
Klonfar, Matěj ; Mráz, František (advisor) ; Plátek, Martin (referee)
In the present work I study the task of machine learning of formal languages. The task of the work is to design and implement the program with anyone will be able to study the progress and results of algorithms for learning languages. With this program is possible to run algorithms for learning from examples. Examples could be sets of positive and negative examples of the result languages or sets expressed by teacher who knows the result language. The main task is to design easily extensible application with a view to inserting add-ins without no limits of used representation of learned languages or language complexity.

A Comparative Analysis of the Contents of Czech and German Institutional Language Exams in the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany with an emphasis on German

Netgraph-A Tool for Searching in the Prague Dependency Treebank 2.0
Mírovský, Jiří ; Hajič, Jan (advisor) ; Rosen, Alexandr (referee) ; Ondruška, Roman (referee)
Three sides existed whose connection is solved in this thesis. First, it was the Prague Dependency Treebank 2.0, one of the most advanced treebanks in the linguistic world. Second, there existed a very limited but extremely intuitive search tool - Netgraph 1.0. Third, there were users longing for such a simple and intuitive tool that would be powerful enough to search in the Prague Dependency Treebank. In the thesis, we study the annotation of the Prague Dependency Treebank 2.0, especially on the tectogrammatical layer, which is by far the most complex layer of the treebank, and assemble a list of requirements on a query language that would allow searching for and studying all linguistic phenomena annotated in the treebank. We propose an extension to the query language of the existing search tool Netgraph 1.0 and show that the extended query language satisfies the list of requirements. We also show how all principal linguistic phenomena annotated in the treebank can be searched for with the query language. The proposed query language has also been implemented - we present the search tool as well and talk about the data format for the tool. An attached CD-ROM contains the installation of the tool.

Language and individuality. Some remarks on comparing Wittgenstein with Husserl and Heidegger
Beran, Ondřej ; Peregrin, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kouba, Pavel (referee) ; Glombíček, Petr (referee)
The work compares Wittgenstein with Husserl and Heidegger (or more generally: analytical and continental philosophy), but its character is rather systematic, as it treats the question of the relation among language, intersubjectivity and individuality. Husserl and Wittgensten show that our experience of the world (world as we know it) is always our experience of the world ("the world as it is for us"), that this experience is essentially intersubjective, and that intersubjectivity is essentially linguistic. The shape of the experience of the world is not arbitrary, but it cannot be based "realistically" on the "objective" world, at most it can be founded "from inside", pragmatically. The primarily pragmatic nature of our experience allows its variation (a plausible form of relativism), and on the other hand it makes it problematic to try to set the purpose of the experience beyond its limits (an absolute teleology of history). It is also shown that Husserl's conception, setting the non-linguistic life of the consciousness "before" language and individual subjectivity "before" intersubjectivity, faces certain problems, or that we cannot conceive phenomena of thought (psychic life) and individuality, as we usually understand them, this way. Heidegger agrees with Wittgenstein in the point that language is...
