Application of chaotic dynamics in natural and technical sciences
Kratochvíl, C. ; Švéda, P. ; Hortel, Milan ; Škuderová, Alena ; Houfek, M.
During the entire 20th century there was a gradual transformation of scientific research, which has produced in science and technology especially in the extraordinary interest in complex dynamic systems. They are non-linear systems, operating environments and the irreversible complexity in their name means they have complex structures, relations and interactions (often of different physical nature). It turned out that an inherent attribute of these complex systems and chaos (deterministic and stochastic). The article will focus on some aspects of the manifestations of chaos, its spread, as well as identification, suppression and control. We will mention also other important phenomena - the possible emergence of a new order out of chaos.

Orienteering club support system
Buk, Jindřich ; Vojíř, Stanislav (advisor) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee)
Nowadays, an increasing number of processes and life situations is getting IT support. Often the use of the Internet aims to accelerate and simplify existing processes. In addition, there is a big area of social networking that can be complementary. This thesis deals with the possibilities of using web technologies to support the running of a club and its subsequent development. Indeed, the club has the potential to simplify and automate many processes which previously have been carried out by someone in person. It has also a potential to use social networks for its publicity and development. The aim is to first determine what areas of the clubs operations are the most appropriate to be supported by any information system. Another objective is to find out how other clubs already integrate any information systems. The final objective is to design and create a specific application. The first two objectives are addressed through a survey among the leaders of the biggest Czech clubs. Indeed in these clubs, the use of automation and simplification of existing processes could have a great potential. The proposal for a specific application is then based on the previous survey and the field experience of the author. While serving many existing processes in running the club, the proposed application adds many elements of social networking.

THE LIFE AND WORKS OF GIUSEPPE VERDI FOCUSSING ON THE OPERA DON CARLOS
Urbánek, Miroslav ; Podskalský, Miloslav (advisor) ; Podskalský, Miloslav (advisor) ; Tuček, René (referee)
Giuseppe Verdi is amongst one of the greatest opera composers of the nineteenth century. Despite his life's tragic fates he was full of energy which transpired into his operas. His work stems from a strong Italian operatic tradition and culminated to became the peak of Itatian of the ninteenth century. His beginnings were still in an tradition we he left to create a new. He began to write through composed, large scale works with dramatic content to match. Thw works of Berlioz and Wagner had a large influence onVerdi but even as such he did not allow his music to be taken over stylisticly but rather held to his own.The greates treaures in Verdi's music are the beautiful melodic lines of witch he was a master the ever creative rhythmic motives. He uses speaks to the listner through its simple and clear nature. Verdi lifted Itatian opera to a new and higher level. He intentionally chose materials and subject matter that were close to his individual creative person and didn't entertain subjects which were not. Dispite his inovativness he strongly believed that to the leave the Italian operatic tradition was amongst one of the greatest dangers. His operas today belong amongst some of the most played of operas ever written.

In conclusion, two surveys were conducted. First survey aimed at consumer market and the second one at clothing stores.

Information systems security penetration testing
Klíma, Tomáš ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Čermák, Igor (referee) ; Čapek, Jan (referee) ; Štubňa, Ivan (referee)
The aim of this dissertation thesis is to develop new methodology of information systems penetration testing based on analysis of current methodologies and the role of penetration tests in context of IS/IT governance. Integral part of this aim is evaluation of the methodology. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the presentation of history and current state of research in selected area, definiton of basic terms and introduction of role of the penetration tests. This part is followed by the review of relevant sources and comparative study of current methodologies with a goal to identify their weaknesses. Results from this study are further used as a basis for new methodology development. Classification of IS penetration tests types and testing scenarios are also included. The second part includes design of new methodology, at first its history, structure and principles are presented, then its framework is decribed in high level of detail. In the third part the reader can find (theoretical and practical) validation. The biggest scientific contribution is the methodology itself focused on managment of penetration tests (which is the area currently not sufficiently descibed). Secondary contribution is the extensive review and the comparative analysis of current methodologies. Contribution to the economic and technical (practical) application we can mainly see in the development of new methodology which enables companies to improve management of penetration tests (especially planning, operational management and implementation of countermeasures).

Fourier transformation for exon prediction
Rusina, Michal ; Škutková, Helena (referee) ; Maděránková, Denisa (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis there are described the methods of the prediction of exon. The first part is aimed at the difference between the prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms, the description of the DNA structure and the explanation of the terms exon and intron. The second section of the theoretic part includes four methods of the prediction of exons namely dynamic programming, neural networks, hidden Markov models and discrete Fourier transform. In the practical part there was created the program called Predikce_exonu that searches exons in nucleotide sequences and works on the principle of the Fourier transform. This algorithm together with 3 freely available programs was tested on 25 sequences and the success of their prediction was described by sensitivity and specificity.

Building and use of smaller computer networks
Kyzivát, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
The thesis describes the initial state of the computer network Basic Schools and Kindergartens Ohradní (ZŠMŠ Ohradní) in Prague 4 and then its reconstruction, which I largely contributed. ZŠMŠ Ohradní consists of four pavilions and from one building on the other side of the street. The aim of this study is to assess the initial state of the network and point out the shortcomings that we discovered. We found deficiencies in the operation stress tests, measurements and data cabling overall analysis. Original networks connectivity was 100Mb/s. Together with a colleague, we are network administrators. Furthermore, I am going to introduce a new form of network, which has identified deficiencies improved, by using on newer technologies. I will describe its structure, address allocation, active and passive components, and operated services. New network is capable of 1Gb/s, and its spine is going to be 10Gb/s soon. Benefits of this reconstruction is faster, more stable and more modern network that will facilitate the work of employees of ZŠMŠ Ohradní. To these improvements, I have mainly contributed by measurements. I participated in the design and implementation of new form of data network. I collaborated with fellow Poc to the configuration of active elements and network services in reconstructed network.

This work compares the individual priority axes of the operational program and the successful utilization of the allocation. For an objective assessment Košice region is compared with other regions of the Slovak Republic at the level of priority axis. Based on the analysis the author reviewed the regional operational programme in the Košice region as successful with space for improvement in the fulfilment of allocations

Unreliability in Narration
HAVLOVÁ, Zuzana
The bachelor thesis is primarily focused on the aspects of unreliable narration in literature and deals with its characterization and assessment. It presents several theoretical expositions of unreliability accompanied by the analysis of the chosen literary illustrations demonstrating the discussed issues on the concerete samples. The indidvidual insights display that unreliability in naration is marked with disunity of opinion and a number of different attitudes. These facts result in substantially diverse interpretations of the particular literary works when apllying different criteria connected with distinct scholarly approaches. Simultaneously, the discrepancy of estimations and the thesis in general reflect dynamics, attractiveness and variety of this narratological category.

International trade with fresh fruit and vegetables
Laketić, Aleksandar ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Halík, Jaroslav (referee)
The main goal of my Master´s thesis is to evaluate dynamic environment of international trade with fresh fruit and vegetables. In the first part of my thesis I analyzed importance of the production of fresh fruit and vegetables for economies of selected countries. Next I had described the trade flows and patterns. In the second part I made a characterization of payment terms and trade negotiations in the context of international trade with fresh fruit and vegetables. Furthermore I made an analysis of import and export rules and regulations of the EU. Based on this analysis I came to general conclusions on the trade policies of countries and communities. In the last part of my thesis I applied findings from the previous parts on the analysis of two cases. The first analyzed case is the situation of imports of Chinese pomelo to the EU, with regards to maximal residue levels of pesticides. Second analyzed case is the situation of South African citruses imported to the EU, with regards to the problematic of citrus black spots.
