Analysis of the collective investment in the Czech republic

The thesis deals with the collective investing. The aim is to assess the current state of collective investment in the Czech Republic. The are selected characteristics of the reference sector which are closely analyzed. The main aspects discussed in this work will be liquidity, cost, and in particular the profitability of selected products. On the basis of available information is created a portfolio of collective investment products selected for age and social groups to ensure income for retirement or accumulation of funds for future investments. Attention is paid to selected financial products company on the Czech market. These products include pension funds, investment life insurance and unit trust.

The dissertation thesis Splendor curiae regis. Life and culture in the court oj the last Přemyslid is dedicated to a study of the sovereigns' court of the second half of thirteenth and beginning of fourteenth century. The author' s effort is focused on the royal court, and the regnal period, of Wenceslas II, king of Bohemia and Poland (1278/1283 - 1305). The text inc1udes reference to parallels crossing the borders of this chronological framework both into the earlier and into the later time periods. The royal court constitutes a target of study as one of the most important institutions of the medieval period, as its centralizing influence permeated all society. The court represented the place where politi cal decisions were taken, the supreme instance of power and representation. Much in the same manner, the court constituted a centre and vanguard of courtly chivalric culture, bursting into a full bloom in this very time. The texť s seven chapters include, first and foremost, an analysis of sources and specialized literature and presentation of the author' s methodical approach (Chapters 1-2). The major results are presented in Chapters 3-8. Analysis of social services for seniors in the Czech Republic during the years 2007 - 2015

This thesis focuses on the theme of social services for the elderly and its development since 2007 to 2015. The goal is to describe the development of social services in the Czech Republic, in the regions of the Czech Republic and comparison between them. The Bachelor thesis also has the goal of informing about the current situation and future predictions. The theoretical part deals with the definition of social inclusion services within social policy. An integral part is the description of the basic forms of social services, social service providers and legislative and financial framework for social services in the Czech Republic. The method used in this part is the literature research focused on characteristics of social policies, particularly on social services. The empirical part follows information from theoretical part. The research is focused on the Czech Republic as a whole and then goes into exploring the specifics of individual regions and their comparison. Here, the methods used are: analysis of the existing system of social services and regional comparison. The data sources are mainly from Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The result of my investigation is the confirmation of the need for social services in the lives of seniors. The goal of this thesis is to highlight the current systemic shortcomings of providing and funding of social services, mainly because of increased number of seniors in Czech Republic.

Employability of Foreigners on the labour market of the Czech Republic

The present Bachelor Degree work deals with problems aimed at the analysis of the position of foreigners on Czech labour market and an analysis of conditions of the entry on Czech labour market. It is particularly a matter of orientation on the given problem and it is practical application. The theoretical part is first focussed on the definition of elementary terms connected with the given topic. The most important legislative rules are also considered. The practical part is aimed at the analysis of data obtained through a questionnaire investigation, which was conducted among foreigners coming from countries of the former Soviet Union to the Czech Republic's labour market. At the end of the practical part opinions of the respondents from practical life will be assessed.

The analysis of local authorities debt

Graduation thesis deals with the debt of municipalities and regions. Its subject is the analysis of local authorities debt, namely the most frequent causes, development and comparison between municipalities and regions. Furthermore, it describes the possibility of regulating municipal debt. A part of this thesis is an analysis of revenues and expenses of municipalities, their possible influence and a description of the most frequently used returnable revenues. The practical part is focused on the debt of capital city Prague, which has a specific position as a town and region together. Prague's economy, the debt size and the rate of indebtedness will be analyzed and assessed based on informing and monitoring system indicators. An estimation of Prague financial outlook is included at the end of thesis.

Katolicismus a občanská společnost v České republice

The thesis The Catholicism and The Civil Society in The Czech Republic examines the relationship of these two entities and putative views on it. In the first part of the thesis the historical development of the Catholic church on our territory is outlined, from first Christian missions, to bloom of church activities, enlightenment, dissipation of Austrian- Hungarian Empire, finally to persecutions of the communistic era. It is followed by an analysis of processes as secularisation, privatisation and deprivatisation, which influenced and still influence the perception of catholic doctrine and the position of the Romancatholic church. An important part of the thesis is the analysis of the contemporary expert discussion on broad issue of relationship between the civil society and religion. This discussion focuses mostly on catholicism and it is performed by Jan Sokol, Karel Nešpor and Tomáš Halík, as representatives. An international comparison of church - state relatioship is shown in the thesis, describing the situation in France, Great Britain and The United States. The analysis of the real level of religiosity in the Czech Republic and results of investigations on this issue are comprised in the next part of the thesis and indicate a permanent influence of catholicism in the Czech society. Influence of social politics on fertility rate in specific regions of Czech republic

Thesis is focused on relationship between fertility rate and tools of state support. The goal is to reveal relationship between these two factors. Partial goal is to discover specific effects of tools of state support in specific regions of Czech republic. I have aimed on research at national level and also specific regions between years 1993-2014. In order to find these relationships I used method that compares differences in development of the fertility rate. After that, I set up regression model solved by method called fixed effects. For specific regions analysis was used OLS method. Model was able to explain more than 80 % of variability. This results can be used for predicting of citizens behavior, when some changes in family allowances occurs. Main finding is, that most motivating tools are parenting allowances and child benefits.

Design of heat exchangers for high temperature applications

This thesis is devoted to thermal-hydraulic design and rating of heat exchangers with the specialized commercial software HTRI. These heat exchangers are solved for real high-temperature applications, where the hot fluid is a flue gas with high temperature (above 500 °C). In the thesis is made a brief analysis of the conventional design of heat exchangers usable for high-temperature aplications, description of the basic relations, description and brief user manual of software HTRI. Further, work includes a comparative study of methods for calculation of pressure drop of the fluid at 180° elbows, as support analysis for solution of required applications characterized by low pressure drop of process fluids.

This thesis describes, analyzes and evaluates the creation and management of the project Chcikupon.cz. Part of this thesis is a business plan, which includes product characteristics, analysis of competitors, customers, suppliers, project staffing and marketing. The work includes analysis of the financial aspects of the project and it evaluates the return on investment. Thesis describes the launch of the discount portal Chcikupon.cz, and the success of individual promotional discounts with operations of the website by the end of 2013. The main contribution of the diploma thesis is the proposed strategy, which will lead to sustainable development of the project.
