Ethics education at primary school

This work deals with the description of complementary educational field Ethics education at primary schools. The theoretical part concentrates on the basic terms and it also characterizes the subject of Ethics education, its content, aims and methods. It mentions necessary education for teachers and gives reasons to implement this subject to school education. It describes selected conceptions, too. In the summary, it focuses on current state of this subject at primary schools. The practical part presents the research of the implementation of ethics education and the real contemporary state of education of this subject at schools. It comments on results of the questionnaire among teachers and it analyses the obtained information.

Support of ICT tools in the field of education

This thesis focuses not only on analysis of the current situation in the use of an ICT technologies in teaching, but also on financial analysis of this topic - which means the analysis of available resources for each school in case of purchasing and maintaining ICT tools and technologies. The main emphasis is placed on the practical part, where is described the approach of the teachers to integrating modern technologies in education. The result of this work is in addition to the comprehensive list of options in the material and financial sphere for schools, also an outline of the future development of trends in this area.

The Motivation of Parents to Choose Waldorf Education

The aim of this work is from the most part response for the questions: What is pringing parents and therefore their children to Waldorf schools? Why do they in many cases long distaches from their homes to Waldorf schools? Do they pay tuition fee? Why do they come each month to schools for parents reuninon? Why do they help school without any compensation? In the theoretical part there is a definition of this motivation, there are mapped out some specifics of Waldorf education and teaching methodology according to Dr. Rudolf Steiner, founder of the Anthoposophy it Waldorf education is based on. In the empirii part there is evaluation of the result of the research focused on investigation of the motivation.

Methods of Health Education at Primary School

Diploma work is aimed at didactis of healtheducation at primary school. The first theoretic part is intent on analyse of bibliography. The attention is pay to subject matter of healtheducation. The characteristics of younger pupillage and characteristics of educational methods are components too. The second part is intent on comparasion of girls and boys and their acquirement of subject matter of healtheducation and comparasion of girls and boys and playing display games. Comparison was performed on questionnaire. Obtained data were percentage evaluationed. The elaboration of didactis of healtheducation at primary school is important part of second part.

Prevention of HIV / AIDS at the grammer school

This diploma thesis is trying to describe the actual situation of methods concerning the education about HIV/AIDS at the grammar school programs. It is focused rather in finding the teachers' interest to this topic, their cooperation with the experts and with the children. In the theoretical part there are the general information about the HIV/AIDS, characteristic of the illness, way of the transmission, treatment etc. This part also focuses to the description of the prevention activities of the public bodies in the Czech Republic. The practical part introduces the results of the research, which evaluate the present state of the education about the HIV/AIDS in the grammar schools. Subjective answers from the informants in combination with the known facts are forming a good general overview to the actual situation in that domain. The author within the evaluation offers several possibilities which might be a contribution to the future changes conducting to the positive developments of the current situation.

Education of Religion at the Conservatory of Jan Deyl English annotation The goal of this work is to handle the issue of religious education at the Conservatory of Jan Deyl in Prague given the type of students and the specific conditions of the school and study on it. Tradition of teaching blind people from ancient times to the present shows understanding of social change in relation to disadvantaged fellow citizens. Specific profile of the school Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague and its students was formed gradually in the light of the company until today. The school now produces graduates capable of concert and teaching activities. However, their possibilities are still limited with regard to their visual and sometimes combined disabilities. This disability can sometimes be largely offset by the various tools that can greatly assist in teaching of religion. Due to the personal situation of students is very important personality of teachers of religion. The topic of my work: to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in free-time activities, or is it possible to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in scouting system? This is the reason why in my work I am trying to compare the approach of Steinerov's pedogogical system and scouting methods in upbringing children. The goal of my work is to find compatable elements and different disputes of both systems and by this find out if it is possible to apply the Waldorf system in scouting practices. My work, most of all is based on long terms work and experience in scouting groups and the Waldorf systems is based on theoretical information found in professional and available literature. I deal, mainly, with children's current wishes and demands for free-time activities, and hence at the same time I am trying to find a possibility to modernize scouting upbringing and practices in order for the center to be more interesting especially for children. One of the possibilities I see is found especially in this form of educational system. After stating the requirments for free-time activity I try to completely characterize the current methods, individually important of the area in preactice. Support and Advancement of Fifth-Grade Pupils' Reading Comprehension

My diploma paper deals with the problems of the advancement of fifth-grade pupils' reading comprehension. The theoretical part starts from the specification of the reading literacy conception, within the scope of which the classification of certain reading skills is presented. They form the clear terminology base for the other parts of my diploma paper. After the statement of requirements for the advancement of reading skills in the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education, the exploration of facts of international researches and one local project substantial for these problems and interviews with teachers follow. On the basis of those explorations and interviews, the skills advanced during the lessons in the practical part are determined. Methods and forms of work the use of which should contribute to the advancement of reading literacy are also described, as well as prepubescent pupils' reading interests. The practical part consists of two closely interconnected units - the preparation of three lessons the aim of which was the advancement of three selected skills and their realization analyses.

Interactive whiteboard in teaching physics on secondary level of basic school

This graduate research thesis describes how to use interactive whiteboards during physics classes in primary school. The thesis focuses on the method and way how to integrate this equipment into classes. Furthermore, there are evaluations of educational applications for this equipment on the Internet and examples of how teachers have incorporated this application into their classes. In addition, this work is supported by research undertaken at selected middle schools in the South Bohemia. The whole work includes videos of this technology being used during physic lectures and own digital learning materials.

Inovative educational materials in teaching literature at secondary scholl

This master thesis is focused on education of literature. In theoretical part, it maps spectrum of educational materials for teaching on the second grade of elementary school. In the thesis, the main didactic aspects in 1970s, 1980s and their changes after the year 1989 till the present day are also compared. In these periods, the reading books and used methods are analyzed in detail. The question of obligatory reading is also discussed. In the frame of practical part of the thesis, the set of twenty didactically processes of working sheets for novel education of literature on the second grade of elementary school (for each class five working sheets). These sheets are elaborated in accordance to time-tested, but also innovative methods for work with text. Their aim is to develop the literacy of the readers and communication competence in accordance with educational requirements stated in RVP for elementary education. So, the working sheets offer an inspirational and practically usable source for teachers of literature education. The usability of majority of the working sheets or literature education was also verified in praxis.
