Strukturální a cyklická nezaměstnanost: Co můžeme odvodit z funkce přizpůsobení?
Galuščák, K. ; Münich, Daniel
We explain movements in the UV space, i.e. the relationship between stocks of unemployment and vacancies known as the Beveridge curve, in the Czech Republic during 1995–2004.

Tři způsoby interpolace na konečných prvcích
Šolín, Pavel ; Segeth, Karel
Interpolation on finite elements usually occurs in a Hilbert space setting, which means that interpolation techniques involving orthogonal projection are an alternative for the traditional Lagrange nodal interpolation schemes. In addition to the Lagrange interpolation, this paper discusses the global orthogonal projection and the projection-based interpolation. These techniques are compared from the point of view of quality, efficiency, sensitivity to input parameters and other aspects.

Calculation of electron structure in the framework of DTF in real space
Čertík, Ondřej ; Vackář, Jiří (advisor) ; Šipr, Ondřej (referee)
In the present work we study ab-initio electronic structure calculations in real space using density functional theory (DFT), finite elements and pseudopotentials. We summarize the theory and full ab-initio derivation of all equations in finite elements, density functional theory and pseudopotentials, then we explain how our program works and we show results for spherically symmetric potentials in relativistic and nonrelativistic DFT and for 2D and 3D Schrödinger equation for symmetric and non-symmetric potentials.

FTC Control in connection with industrial robots for direct guiding in space
Stano, Pavol ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with an application of Force-Torque control in connection with industrial robot for direct guiding in space. It contains a summary of different kinds of FT control and various conceptions of robot-sensor connection and a description of Schunk FTC-50. The practical part is focused on the problem of setting-up the communication and setting-up of all devices used in this work, robot movement control to a desired position and compensation of forces and torques in relation to direct guiding in space.

Modelling of NURBS curves and surfaces in the projective space
Ondroušková, Jana ; Štarha, Pavel (referee) ; Martišek, Dalibor (advisor)
In the first part I discuss ancestors of NURBS curves and surfaces, rather Ferguson, Beziere, Coons and B-spline curves and surfaces and furthermore B-spline functions. In the second part I devote to NURBS curves and surfaces, their description as a linear combination of B-spline functions in the projective space. I specify conical arcs more detailed, their submit in the projective space and NURBS surfasec given as tensor product of NURBS curves. Last part is devote to describtion programs for modeling conicals and NURBS surface.

To the analysis of linear and nonlinear damping in gearing systems with impacts
Hortel, Milan ; Škuderová, Alena
The point of contribution consists in the analysis of linear and nonlinear – cubic - damping influence on the dynamic properties of the specific case of pseudoplanetary system with split power flow. The damping in the area of tooth backlash in the course of tooth face contact loss and consecutive contact with impact is assumed zero. The results of solution are illustrated in 3D space in the form of the phase planes of relative motion in gear mesh in relation to the given damping.

The space and the time in the novel El hablador by Vargas Llosa
Filipová, Martina ; Housková, Anna (advisor) ; Vydrová, Hedvika (referee)
The objective of this work is to focus on the space and time motives used in the novel The Storyteller by Vargas Llosa which is compared with others books depicting the collision of cultures also - The Vortex (La vorágine) by José Eustacio Rivera, The Lost Steps (Los pasos perdidos) by Alejo Carpentier and Jungle (A selva) by Portuguese writer José Mario Ferreira de Castro. The art space theme is discussed at first, mainly from the point of view of its simillarity with the real space and the mistaken interchange with each other. The study continues by researching of the space relations among all the books above and the theory of Jurij Lotman describing the coherence among space, sujet and characters is applied to these. According to this theory the sujet is created by move of the characters from one semantic field (which can be simplified to world) to another. This move - crossing the borders between the worlds - is allowed only for the "floating" characters, as it is the protagonist of the first sujet line in the novel Storyteller, while Mascarita is the moving character of the second line. Of course this kind of move is determined by a certain conditions that have to be fulfilled and when the person joins the new world or returns from it with "prey" the sujet ends. After Mascarita's assimilation with...

Limitní reiterační vzorce pro reálnou interpolaci a aplikaci
Opic, Bohumír
The aim of the paper is to describe reiteration formulal with the limiting value 0=1 for a real interpolation method. Limiting reiteration can be used to investigate a behaviour of linear and some quasi-linear operators in limiting situations. Results are applied to describe the limiting behaviour of the fractional maximal operator and to derive sharp limiting embeddings of Sobolev-Orlicz spaces W1 Ln(log L).alpha.(.omega.). In particular, if .alpha.= 0, we obtain the embedding which is due to Brézis and Wainger.
