The main aim of the thesis is a comlex description and explanation of legislative concernig the working conditions of drivers in branch of international transport. It provides the reader general overview of the whole field including function of the digital tachograph system and current development of EU legislative. In the practical part, there are described some actual problems, which occur in this area - it's especially the question of road controls and fines. The opinions of drivers concernig this matter are included as well.

Analysis of strengthening intellectual property rights on selected economic indicators in selected world countries in years 2013 to 2015

This paper analyzes the relationship between the protection of intellectual property rights, and selected economic indicators between 2013 and 2015. The topic is the impact of intellectual property protection to economic growth and development. The theoretical part analyzes the different views on the issue of intellectual property, its forms of protection and analysis of international protection. It also defines GDP, GDP per capita, foreign direct investment and research and development expenditure. The practical part analyzes the correlation between these economic indicators and index of intellectual property rights, as an indicator of the strength of protection of intellectual property rights in selected countries. The work focuses on industrial property.

Martina Smržová, 2011/2012 Abstract International Insolvency Law Key Words: COMI, Establishment, Vis Attractiva Concursus With regard to the broad extent of international insolvency law, the author focuses mainly on the Court's jurisdiction in the context of the European insolvency law. The subject of interest is therefore the EC Regulation No. 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings (the "insolvency regulation"). The aim of this thesis is (1) to summarise development of interpretation of the most important terms concerning the court's jurisdiction to open the main insolvency proceedings, the secondary proceedings and proceedings which relate to the insolvency proceedings; and (2) to propose amendments to the insolvency regulation especially regarding the Report which will be prepared by the Commission on application of the insolvency regulation no later than the 1 June 2012. The work is divided into five main chapters. A short introduction in the first chapter is followed by the second chapter which deals with an introduction on the international insolvency law. Transfer of production to China

The thesis is focused on transfer of production to China. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the potential of China from the perspective of companies and investors, and on the example of the international company to highlight not only the traditional ways of entering the Chinese market, but also the specific method that considers the needs of manufacturing companies. Thesis also contains the assessment of competitiveness of the Chinese economy, cultural differences and comparison of the various forms of entering the Chinese market. The practical part is focused on the analysis of enterprise from the polygraphic industry which has transferred part of its assembly processes to China. Conclusion contains recommendations for further development of the company on the Chinese market.


Human factor in IS/ICT security

As the sheer volume of data stored in various information systems grows, importance of its security becomes a key concern. Great resources are being spent on security technologies protecting from external attacks, while the threat posed by people within the organization remains largely unadressed. The aim of the author of this thesis is to raise awareness of this internal threat and to provide recommendations whose implementation could help mitigate the problem.

Comparison of hedging instruments in international trade

The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. In first part hedging instruments, namely the Letter of Credit, Documentary Collection, Bill of Exchange, Factoring, Forfaiting and Bank Guarantee are analyzed. The aim of analysis is to describe the basic characteristics of instruments and course of these instruments. Subsequently, the instruments are compared to each other on the basis of the advantages and disadvatages they bring to participants. The next part is devoted to an analysis of charges associated with the use of particular hedging instruments in selected banks and the comparison of instruments based on selected criteria. The specific use of the hedging instrument is shown in the case study.

The contemporary Czech art on the domestic and the global art market

The goal of this thesis is to analyse trends of the contemporary Czech art on the domestic market and possibilities of the contemporary Czech artists to succeed on the international art market. The firts part of the thesis describes specific forms of contemporary art and their position on the art market. The main factors influencing contemporary art prices are mentioned. The next chapter is concentrated on trends of contemporary art in comparison with the other segments of the art market. The third chapter is focused on development of the contemporary art on the domestic market. It analyses the present situation on the Czech art market and explores the potential of the contemporary Czech art. The last part of the thesis evaluates a success rate of the contemporary Czech art on the global art market.
