Cross-cultural comparsion of five personality dimensions
Hřebíčková, Martina
The five factor model of personality provides a new framework for studying personality and culture at three levels. Transcultural research focuses on identifying human universals, intracultural studies examine the unique expression of traits in specific cultures, and intercultural research characterizes cultures in terms of mean levels of personality traits and seeks associations between cultural variables and personality traits. The contribution contains data on mean levels of Revised Personality Inventory scales from college age and adult samples (N=23500) from 27 cultures including Czech Republic. Some considerations about Czech national character are discussed and basic psychometric properties of the Czech version of the NEO-PI-R are mentioned.

Czech and European Fisheries law
Šulcová, Lenka ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Drobník, Jaroslav (referee)
115 CZECH AND EUROPEAN FISHERIES LAW SUMMARY Fishery cannot be comprenended as only in inland waters because marine fishery presents expressively overbearing part of this human activity. In this work the marine fishery is less substantial because in the Czech Republic as in mediterranean state is operated only inland fishery. Fishery means refinement, protection and fishing in fishpond management or by the performance of the fishing right. The fishery in the Czech Republic is classified into production fishery and farming on the fishing grounds. System of public law and private law is blended together in the sphere of fishery and that is why lots of legal regulations associate with fishery. We must not forget the directives and regulations of the European community. The fishing law in the Czech Republic is regulated on a large scale in the Fishery Act and in the public notice and everything is practically prescribed, including size limits, bag limits, periods of protection for individual species, number of rods, hooks, using of flies, shortly everything. In the Czech Republic, all the rivers belong to the state. If you like to manage on a fishing ground, you will have to win the selection procedure. You can obtain the authorisation for performance of fishing right which is valid for 10 years. But in...

Vliv vegetace na tepelnou bilanci a výměnu entropie
Šír, Miloslav ; Weger, J. ; Tesař, Miroslav ; Lichner, Ľ.
The aim of this study is to quantify the synergy between the vegetation cover, solar radiation, air temperature and soil moisture. Heat balance, potential and actual transpiration, and net entropy exchange at three localities under different plant cover was studied in order to determine crucial factors determining phytomass productivity in cold climatic areas of Bohemian Forest. The phytomass productivity can be quantified by the entropy exchange associated with the latent heat flux. Water shortage is a crucial factor determining phytomass productivity in dry and warm seasons in cold climatic conditions of Czech mountains.

CNC Programming if the Single Point Incremental Forming

Quality assessment of university information system
Žák, Adam ; Vencovský, Filip (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on a particular university information system currently used by University of Economics and Czech University of Life Sciences. Main goal was to evaluate system quality from the perspective of its common user -- university student. The evaluation was based on a detailed analysis of students' requirements on the system. These requirements were extracted through interviews and verified through a questionnaire survey. The thesis itself is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is at first determined what quality and information system is. Further is briefly described the international standardization of the quality and quality characteristics according to the selected ISO/IEC 25000 SQuaRE standard. Subsequently these characteristics are combined and used to compile questions for interviews. In the practical part, I'm initially setting questions for interviews using characteristics of quality to which I'm assigning scales according to my subjective estimate of importance and then interviewing individual students from both universities. Problem areas of system quality are determined from these interviews. System requirements are defined from these areas which were verified using questionnaire survey in which students had the opportunity to comment these requirements. The results of the survey are described both verbally and graphically, while the requirements verification is conducted and on its basis it's determined which requirements are significant and which are not. The last chapter deals with the solution of these requirements through systemic changes and recommendations. The main contribution of the thesis lies in the practical application of standards contained in the new series of standards ISO/IEC 25000 SQuaRE dealing with the quality of the software and the subsequent formulation of user requirements together with suggestions on how to satisfy these requirements.

Subovicsová, Monika ; Plchová, Božena (advisor) ; Kopecký, Jan (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of international competitiveness of the Czech Republic and Hungary in terms of key areas affecting the competitiveness of the surveyed countries, namely growth performance, institutional quality, structural competitiveness, innovation performance and quality of human resources. The work is based on the Global Competitiveness Report 2014-2015 of the World Economic Forum. Then work compares the shortcomings of the surveyed countries in terms of competitiveness and determines their location in the world scale. At the end the work determines the future prospects and possible solutions for increasing competitiveness of the economies. During the work has been found out that even the economies have different level of maturity, their competitiveness problems are similar. The key problems of the countries are the inadequate innovation performance, which is one of the means of progress (in the case of Hungary), or to maintain a competitive position (in the case of the Czech Republic), the poor quality of the business environment with low attractiveness for foreign and domestic investors and causing among others unemployment and outflow of skilled labor and the third inefficient government sector.

Hlaváčová, M. ; Klem, Karel ; Hlavinka, Petr ; Trnka, Miroslav
The aim of this study was to assess the effect of high temperatures and soil water scarcity during anthesis on the above-ground biomass allocation of the two winter wheat varieties (Bohemia and Pannonia). The six growth chambers were used to simulate heat stress conditions within following gradient of temperature maxima: 26°C (control chamber), 29, 32, 35, 38 and 41°C. The relative humidity (RH) course and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) intensity were controlled via protocols. Additionally, drought stressed (Dry) and well-watered (Wet) treatments were established within each growth chamber. The plants were removed from the growth chambers after 14 days and they were left until a full maturity, exposed to ambient weather conditions. The spike productivities of the main spikes and harvest indices (HI) of the main spikes were evaluated for particular treatments within both winter wheat varieties after harvest.
