From television to computer? Spending leisure time - research among pupils of elementary school.

The thesis focuses on how the pupils at the age of 13{--}16 years spend their leisure time, whereas a special attention is given to the question of how much time they spend with single types of media. The aim of the thesis is, first to present theoretical bases of leisure time sphere and media sphere, second to introduce the results of the research to the readers. The theoretical part is partly based on different conceptions of leisure time, and at the same time perceives current access to the media and useage of the media by pupils at the primary school. The empirical part is based on quantitative research, using the method of standardised questionnaires, which were filled in by the pupils from seventh to ninth class. This part is based above all on the comparison with other research works. Those research works were focused on the same problems. The results of the thesis take the development of leisure time activities into account, compare these activities as with the pupils at the same age, as with older pupils, eventually the results are compared with the sample of the whole population. The thesis also takes certain geographic and demographic facts into consideration, which supports thorough research of these problems.

The rendition service for the seniors in the region of Říčany city

My diploma focuses on the issue of care for senior citizens.I deal with the providing of the social services for senior citizens in Ricany region;the goal of my work is to map the region in question from that perspective.Further below I concentrate on the Social Service Legislation used by all providers of social services , on the quality of provided social services , on the terms of community planning , on the selfgoverning regions of Czech Republic etc.I also focus on the problem of the state and private organisations.My empirical section is based on the questionnare completed by the leading staff of social service providers and on the accessible data of Czech Department of Statistics as well as on the information obtained from the relevant institutions located within the Ricany region. The research presented below is dealing with the mapping of the social service facilities, with the level of their utilization as well as with the public demand for these facilities and for their services.

The Possibility of Changing the Payment Process at Discount Portals

The bachelor thesis deals with the discount coupons. The theoretical part explains the concept of a discount coupon which is connected with the marketing mix. There is also mentioned the history of discount portals in the Czech Republic as well as in the whole world. The second part is about an evaluation of the present situation of using the coupons. There is also mentioned the fact that a lot of users of coupons were not satisfied with the situation about using them. The questionnaire was created to prove the thesis that there is possible negative experience with the using of discount coupons. The research subject is whether coupons fulfilled their purpose in business promotion or not. Afterwards there are finding obstacles that would essentially allow the fact of showing coupons while paying. The last part described models whether it would be possible or not to show coupons while paying. There is also suggested what would theoretically be the coupons about, if they should be submitted at the end when paying.

Kinetic ability of boys and girls on the second grade of the primary school

THE TERM OF THE THESIS K.inetic ability ofboys and girls on the second grade ofthe primary school. THE PURPOSE OF THE THESIS The purpose of the thesis is to find a level of the kinetic efficiency in pubescence ofboys and girls and if there is any influence of subcutaneous fat on their kinetic efficiency. Next point is their interest in sport in their free time. THEMETHOD The thesis is elaborated in form of the empirie quantitative research. This research proceeds in standardized environment with minimalized outside influences (gym). Chosen group are pupils ofthe second grade ofthe primary school. CONCLUSION The conclusion of our study is that boys with higher rate of subcutaneous fat have lower the kinetic efficiency and they don't do any sport in their free time. Girls have a very similar conclusion, but girls, who were in group with average rate of subcutaneous fat, have better conclusions ofkinetic efficiency and they do sports more. Citizens on Splitting of Health Care into "Standard" and "Above-Standard"

According to June survey of Public Opinion Research Centre, 35% of Czechs approve the government's plan to split the health care into "standard" health care, which would remain free (or more precisely paid from existing compulsory public health insurance), and "above-standard", which would be paid directly by patients, 60% oppose it.

Film induced tourism

The master thesis deals with new phenomenon in tourism film induced tourism. The main objective of the master thesis is to characterize film induced tourism which could be used as a tool to increase the attendance of the destination where the film was shot. Next main objective of the thesis is evaluation of film induced tourism in Europe, more precisely in Great Britain and Northern Ireland where the film induced tourism is at relatively advanced level. The master thesis is divided into the eight main chapters. The first part briefly defines term tourism, its importance and tips related to the place of realization. In the second chapter there is described management of destination, following with marketing direction in the fourth chapter. In the fifth part, there is definition of film-induced tourism, related history, supply, the opportunities of marketing promotion and typology of the film induced tourist. Next parts of thesis show significance and efficiency of film induced tourism, film induced tourism in Czech Republic and in the Europe where the main attention was focused on Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The last chapter refers to own research where the potential of film induced tourism was investigated by using quantitative and qualitative methods from respondents which were based in Czech Republic.

Diversity in the labor market

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the issue of diversity of the labor market in the Czech Republic on the example of specific organizations, evaluate the implementation of the concept of diversity in the workplace on the basis of selected factors. When analyzing diversity is an emphasis on primary and secondary characters of diversity: age, gender, ethnicity, mental and physical abilities, marital status, religion, work experience. The work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines concepts: diversity, equal opportunities, primary and secondary characters of diversity, acceptance of the importance of diversity as a value. The practical part deals with the implementation of diversity into practice on the basis of the analytical methods (analysis: workforce, documents and research positions) and draft incorporation into relevant strategic processes of the organization.

Consumer Behaviour Towards Online Shopping of Fashion from Foreign Countries for the French Population Between 18 and 25 Years Old

The booming of Internet has changed consumers habits in many aspects. Nowadays it is possible to buy almost anything on the Internet but also to access to some information, consumers reviews and other data that can help the consumer to make the best choice. Existing researches have been trying to find explanations to consumer behaviour online, even though it is complicated to analyse. This thesis is focused exclusively on shopping online for clothes and fashion accessories, investigating on a population between 18 and 25 years old. The hypotheses are based on four main aspects of buying: product, price, enjoyment and convenience. The research will provide elements and key factors on their consumer behaviour towards online shopping of fashion and how online companies could make them becoming more loyal to online shopping and become more prosperous.

Research of teaching possibilities in virtual reality and in Second Life

The thesis consists of current and traditional language teaching methods' description. Methodical approaches for language teaching in virtual reality are also described. One example of applying methodical approaches is mentioned in connection with effectivity evalutation. A project and a case study is a part of this thesis. They focus on application of different language teaching methods in Second Life. A combination of pedagogical research methods was used to carry out the project. Two goals were set in the project. The first goal was about to find out the average knowledge the students acquired depending on applied teaching method. The second goal was about to find out the average knowledge the students acquired in total. The indirect and mixed teaching methods proved as the best in the research. In the section "Project Realization" there is a final report about useful findings and recommendations for effective use of Second Life in the field of education. Work with Roma children and youth in community centres

The bachelor thesis will deal with the problems connected to the work with the Roma children and youth in the community centres and its specifics. The aim will be to analyse the needs and problems which are the Roma children and youth facing. The bachelor thesis is focused on the possible solutions, mainly through the community centres for children and youth and work of their employees. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis there will be outlined a brief overview of the current situation of the Roma minority in the Czech Republic which is especially focused on the questions connected to the education, upbringing and free time of these young people. The emphasis will be put on the working of the non-profit organizations which are trying to help the Roma living in socially excluded localities in Cheb. The practical part will be focused on the field research in the particular community centres. An experiment, which will try to capture the reasons of visiting these centres by the Roma children and youth, will be performed by using the structured interviews. Another detected area of the bachelor thesis will be the course of their cooperation with the social workers.
