Surface relief evolution in cast superalloy In738LC fatigued at room temperature
Samek, Petr ; Obrtlík, Karel (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
Low cycle fatigue is an important valving parameter of materiale which are exposed random alternate strain during their operation. The alternate strain in that material is caused by temperature fluctuations during operation and outages such as aircraft engines. Tests of low cycle fatigue were performed on samples of superalloy Inconel 738LC at stable room temperature at 23°C. The actual experiment took place at certain intervals, consisting of cycling itself, and observing changes in surface relief by light and electron microscopy. There was observed significant surface relief at an early stage of low cycle fatigue. We compared results of measurement with other different observation methods.

Community Centre Roškovce
Lvová, Andrea ; Dočkal, Jan (advisor) ; Pospíšil, Milan (referee)
This thesis deals with the problems associated with the relationship between Romany socially excluded localities and the majority in Slovakia. It shows how the Community Centre Roškovce manages to improve the situation in the village. The author's view is not only a view of a social worker, because the author of this thesis studies the Romistic (Romany studies) at Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Charles University at the same time. She used the knowledge in Romany language and Romany culture; she collected data during observation. Two of the Centre's goals are: 1. to provide services to the whole community in Roškovce, and 2. improving the relationship between the Romany community in Roškovce and the Slovak majority in the neighbourhood. This thesis evaluates how does the Centre succeed in these goals two years after its opening. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Creep Behaviour of Aluminium after Severe Plastic Deformation (ECAP)
Král, Petr ; Dvořák, Jiří ; Svoboda, Milan ; Sklenička, Václav
In this work the behaviour of ECAP aluminium with different number of passes at the creep tests was studied. The data indicated that an increase fraction of high angle boundaries has a strong effect on the creep properties of ECAP aluminium which can be explained by extensive grain boundary sliding contributing to the total creep deformation. However, the samples of ECAP aluminium with the identical number of ECAP passes showed significant differences of creep properties. The observed scatter in the creep behaviour is probably a direct consequence of different microstructures in the as-pressed state after ECAP.

Production and verification of teaching project of elementary arts of karate
Faktorová, Dominika ; Venzara, Jan (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Jan (referee)
Title: Production and verification of teaching project of elementary arts of karate. Objective: Production and verification of efficient and methodical training programme of karate for children and youth, which increases technical ability and fitness. Methods: Experiment was made by the simple direct method and it took part in the observing five test's groups (one group was made nearly from 25 observed subjects). And than was used the testing and measuring method Eurofit test and test order ČSKe with criterions. The test results were rated by Microsoft ACCESS®, Microsoft EXCEL®, Statistica 6.0 ® a Graph Pad PRISM®. Results: The results validated utility of training programme, but this programme is not more efficient than common training methods. Key words: Karate, elementary arts of karate, teaching and training project.

Methodical Technique of Makiwara Impact Training
Hofman, Michal ; Venzara, Jan (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Jan (referee)
Thesis title: Methodical Technique of Makiwara Impact Training Objective: The aim of the thesis is to create methodical technique of Makiwara impact training, detailed description and building of this punching board as well as its use while training. A further goal is to introduce the anatomy of the Seiken points of impact and their functional and anatomical changes that happen during the Makiwara impact training process. Methods used: To build the methodical technique of Makiwara impact training I set up techniques of direct and indirect observation and mainly a method of rating. Furthermore I interviewed people involved and collected the relevant data. Results: As an outcome of my thesis I created the methodical technique of Makiwara impact training, universal rules, training process stages and three alternatives of Gjaku Cuki impact. I introduced a manual how to build and assemble three different kinds of Makiwara. I described anatomical and functional changes of Seiken points of impact which happen during the Makiwara impact training process. Key Words: Makiwara, points od impact, Seiken, training process, Gjaku Cuki.

Šestileté cykly v rotaci Země a gravitaci
Chapanov, Y. ; Vondrák, Jan ; Gorshkov, V. ; Ron, Cyril
Six-year cycles of pseudo-periodical oscillations are discovered in the series of astrometrical observations of the latitude and universal time, tidal observations and Earth rotation series.

Systém odměňování v malém IT podniku
Novotný, Lukáš ; Dvořáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Cetkovský, Pavel (referee)
The topic of this thesis is reward management and its application in a small-sized IT enterprise. Its goals are to properly document and describe current reward system in the company, evaluate the system and recommend improvements for the system. The first two goals are reached via thorough research of the company through semi-structured interviews, employee satisfaction survey, participant observation and document examination and the last one by applying principles from the current literature and education to the results of the two previous goals. The findings are that the reward system, despite growing organically instead of designed, is relatively effective in some areas, but needs improvement in other areas. The main improvement areas are motivation by contingent pay, communication management and performance management. Relatively well working rewards are especially non-financial reward connected to the work environment and work itself.

Microstructure and hardness of TiB2
Halasová, Martina ; Bača, L. ; Šajgalík, P. ; Chlup, Zdeněk ; Dlouhý, Ivo
MICROSTRUCTURE AND HARDNESS OF TIB2 TiB2 in its pure form is extremely hard material with high melting point. This behaviour predetermines it to be used as e.g. nozzles, armour or wear parts. It is also very brittle and the effort is to decrease brittleness trough addition of various dopants. This contribution deals with the TiB2 dopped with Ta and Ni in various ratio. For observing the microstructure was used SEM and Vickers hardness was calculated by measuring the diagonals of indents. For comparison the values obtained by machine were shown in graph, too.
