History and present Special Olympiad in Czech Republic

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the history and present of the Special Olympics in the CzechRepublic. The theoretical partis focused on the separation of sportsmen with disabilities and their integration to society, history, present and the impact of physical activities on their life quality. I created a review of existing sport organizations and the top sport events at international and national levels. Another section is devoted to people with intellectual disabilities and their participation in the Special Olympics program, the Czech Special Olympics movement, its origin and character, including an overview of Special Olympics and the participation of Czech athletes with intellectual disabilities in national and international Special Olympics Games. More details are processed on the 10th Czech Summer Special Olympics in Prague, which I participated as an improver.

The situation of disabled persons in the labour market in the main City of Prague in 2014 and 2015

The topic of this thesis are disabled people. The main goal of this thesis is describe the situation th these people in the labor market of Prague. This description is based on the founded data and the specialized literature. There will be explained the concepts of labour market, unemployment, aktive employment policy first in the theoretical part. There are for the next time explained the concepts of disabled people, thein characteristics, different type of these disabilities, legislativ of the employnment of these people, rehabilitation programmes and the enterprises with more 50 % share of employed disabled people. The practical part is based on the analysis of the selected dates of Český statistický úřad and Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí. There is included my own anonymus questionnaire research of selected eemployers. The goal of this research is to show, how is the situation of the employers and the diabled people in Prague. It was found by using this research, that the situation in our main city is very positive. Employers offer many employments to disabled people, althoug they don't have to do that and they don't have any statutory obligation.

Design of ice resurfacer

Theme of this diploma thesis is the design of ice resurfacer. It deals with design of a special automatic vehicle, which is able to execute the process of ice resurfacing, without human control. With regard to the protection of the environment and health of the people inside rink arena, the propulsion system is based on the electric motor, with batteries as a power source. Final design reflects innovation of the automatization in this area. The appearance supports the uniqueness and the timelessness of the ice resurfacer and it is build up on the principles of the streamline design, with emphasis on the purity of form.

The international law position of child soldiers

This work is devoted to international law, particularly humanitarian law and human rights with emphasis on international legal instruments governing the position of children serving in the armed forces. In this work are discussed various international conventions, as well as mechanisms for the protection of child soldiers. The first chapter defines the position of child soldiers and the specifics of their involvement in military conflicts. The decisive criteria for the involvement of children in government armed forces or non-state army is age. Furthermore there is described into more details the mechanism of conscription into the army. There is difference between voluntary and forced recruitment of child soldiers. The various international legal instruments are analyzed more in detail in chapter two. The issue of Child soldiers is addressed with both the rules of humanitarian law, specifically the Additional Protocols to the Geneva Conventions and Human rights conventions. Special attention is paid to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict. Title: Motivation of Special Olympics athletes for participating and leaving the Special Olympics Program in the Czech Republic Student: Bc. Radka Příhodová Advisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, PhD. Objectives: The main objective of this project is to explore motivation of Special Olympics athletes for participation in Special Olympics Program in the Czech Republic and the reasons why some of the athletes leave the program. A secondary objective is to learn more about Special Olympics coaches, athletes and their families, and to receive further details about coaches' and families perception ofthe Special Olympics Program. Methods: The thesis is divided up into two sections: theoretical and the results. The theoretical section introduces the subject of mental handicap, different views of the term, the classification of the handicap and its etiology. With regard to common occurrence of Down syndrome among the population of people with mental retardation one chapter presents this chromosomal disorder. The game is suitable only for persons on electric wheelchair. The aim is to prezent basic information about the game especially for hard-hitted persons on electric wheelchair. Method: The study is made by the Metod of review, on the basic of summary from theoretical knowledge and specialized information from Europien and world sourced. Issues: Summary of presently knot information about the new game "electric wheelchair fotball" and translation of the game rules, helps to extend this new sport activity for handicappped. Unemployment on the labour market in the county Kroměříž

This thesis analyses the labour market in the region Kroměříž and unemployment in this region. The thesis describes the main charakteristics of labour market in the territory of county Kroměříž and his special signs too. Theory is being explained by fundamentals terms like labour market, unemployment, unemployment rate and active and passive employment policy. Single chapters describes risk groups on the labour market like women, school leavers, Roms, foreigners and disabled people. Unemployment is connected to the psychological and sociological aspects. That's why thesis describes a negative impact to the unemployment of the people. Focus is apllyed to the bureau of labour and their function on labour market like agent of work. Sports centre Polička

This thesis deals with the design and elaboration process of a project documentation of a sports centre. The designed sports centre building is situated in the southern part of the town of Polička, in the area determined for sports and free time activities complexes and areas. It is a two-floor, non-cellar, flat-roof building. It is based on plain concrete strip foundations and reinforced concrete foundation footing. The bearing, peripheral and partition walls are designed from POROTHERM hollow clay blocks. Reinforced concrete columns are designated in open disposition areas. The ceiling construction is made from SPIROLL pre-stressed concrete floor slabs and point-supported reinforced concrete slabs. The peripheral walls of the first aboveground floor are insulated with external thermal insulation system with a protective gabion facade. The peripheral wall thermal insulation in a bowling restaurant and gym halls extension is designed from a ventilated facade with CEMBRIT METRO facade cladding panels. The building is functionally divided into two main parts with a shared entrance. The sports centre with gyms and other sports facilities form the first part. Three squash courts, a mini-football piste, a special room for spinning and alpinning, a room for group exercising and cloakrooms with sanitary facilities are designed within one part of the sports centre. A restaurant with a bowling area and a kitchen with storerooms and other facilities for employees form the second part. The designed complex is barrier-free. There is aimed to be a car park for fifty cars, four motorbikes and a bus in front of the building. Three parking places are for disabled people.

Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic

Project: Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic Aim of the project: The aim of the project is to compile an overview about Paralympic and selected sports that are done by visually impaired people here in the Czech Republic. The overview includes basic information about specification of individual sports of visually impaired persons as well as updated description of organization of sports for such disabled persons. Based on these facts it makes suggestions to improve the current state. Method: To achieve the aim of this project, an author made an analysis of literature specialized in the given issue, compared the selected documents and personally joined several sport events aimed at visually impaired persons. Results: The current state of organization and direction of the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association is not optimum. The suggestions to improve it are stated in discussion. Role of school by idientification and support of matematicaly gifted pupils

Contemporary period and situation puts a lot of demands on individual members of the society, especially on their individual using skills and successfulness from one's childhood to adulthood. That is the reason why every society can't risk the potential of its people. Also Czech representatives became aware of this situation. To support talents and abilities of people lots of new projects are arising, f.e. Project Czech Head ("Projekt Česká hlava") which has the part called Little Heads ("Projekt České hlavičky"), organized since 2007 for Czech high-school students of technical and natural science branches. In co- operation of the Czech Senate and Parliamen chairman is also announced the competition for european students called Innovating Minds (since 2008). All the professionals who deal with this problem are aware of the fact that the number of successful members of society raise due to effective support and education of children since the early childhood. Pupils with the exceptional talents, according to the valid Czech law, are placed and classified as the pupils with special needs. Our contemporary trend in education of pupils and students with special needs is integration in possible way in dependence of the real needs and demands.
