Strukturální fondy Evropské unie v programovacím období 2007 - 2013

Tata práce se zabývá především strukturálními fondy Evropské unie. Jsou zde popisována především programovací období 2000 - 2006 a 2007 - 2013. Předmětem této práce je především bližší přiblížení těchto období v rámci jejich cílů a jejich jednotlivých operačních programů, srovnání obou období z hlediska České republiky a zhodnocení možnosti čerpání ze strukturálních fondů v novém programovacím období 2007 - 2013.

Povrchová aktivita osmi běžných druhů chvostoskoků ve smrkových lesích a na pasekách po kůrovcové kalamitě v Národním parku Šumava, Česká republika

Surface activity of eight common epigeic species of Collembola were studied in spruce forests, dead spruce forests and clearings in the Šumava National Park, South Bohemia, Czech Republic: .i.Lepidocyrtus lignorum, Leidocyrus cyaneus, Pogonognathellus longicornis, Tomocerus minutus, Tetracanthella stachi, Allacma fusca, Entomobrya nivalis, Dicyrtomina minuta./i.. Five pitfall traps were exposed at each of the 9 sites in the summer and autumn periods to study the impact of spruce forest die-off after bark beetle attack (dead forests) and on clearings. Material comprising 79435 specimens was evaluated in this study using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test for comparing Collembola activity between the sites and seasons. Complete linkage (Euclidean distances) cluster analysis was used for comparing the collembolan activity in all nine sites.

Astronomie ve středověké Praze

Astronomy ranked among the septem artes liberales which achieved high level at the University of Prague already soon after its foundation by the Emperor Charles IV. in 1348. Master Claretus de Solentia (Bartholomaeus of Chlumec, c. 1320-1370), who composed a didactic work Astronomicus on Charles' order in about 1350, can be mentioned as an example of scholar of this early period. At the beginning of the 15th century, Masters Cristannus of Prachatice and Johannes Sindel were very influential astronomers in Prague University. The interest of both of them in astronomical instruments can be documented by their treatises.

Influence of social politics on fertility rate in specific regions of Czech republic

Thesis is focused on relationship between fertility rate and tools of state support. The goal is to reveal relationship between these two factors. Partial goal is to discover specific effects of tools of state support in specific regions of Czech republic. I have aimed on research at national level and also specific regions between years 1993-2014. In order to find these relationships I used method that compares differences in development of the fertility rate. After that, I set up regression model solved by method called fixed effects. For specific regions analysis was used OLS method. Model was able to explain more than 80 % of variability. This results can be used for predicting of citizens behavior, when some changes in family allowances occurs. Main finding is, that most motivating tools are parenting allowances and child benefits.

Election Polls in Czech Republic: Methodological Optimalizations

Jindřich Krejčí, Ph.D. Abstract The thesis focuses on the election-polls and prediction of election results in the Czech Republic. Using data of research company MEDIAN s.r.o. from face-to-face (CAPI) and telephone interviewing (CATI) in election year 2010 it examines possibilities of methodological optimizations which could lead to reducing systematic bias and discrepancies of pre-election polls the election results. In particular, it discusses these methodological solutions: mix-mode data collection (combination of CATI and CAPI), data weighting focused on specific factors correlated with voting behavior, including preferences of undecided voters, prediction of the respondents' participation in elections, election-polls results time-series smoothing. Based on these analyses the thesis tries to articulate general findings which could be fruitful in discussion about Czech election-polls and their methodology in general. Political marketing in the pre-election period

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze strategies of political marketing of the Czech Social Democratic Party and the political movement ANO 2011 in the Czech regional elections 2016. Furthermore, the work aims to analyze their media image in selected economic and political weeklies (Euro, Respect and Week). This thesis will attempt to answer the following questions through content analysis and qualitative interviews: What were the main differences in political strategies of those political parties? Were there some variations in interpretation of their media images in the selected magazines? The thesis is structured into four chapters. The first chapter defines the main terminology of political marketing. The second one is devoted to media-politics relations and to the Czech media. The third analytical part characterizes marketing strategies of the political parties. The last chapter interprets the results of content analysis.

Consumer protection - unfair commercial practices

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the current legal regulation of consumer protection in Czech Republic and European Union, to compare eventual differences and after that to map the views of Czech consumer on this topic. The comparison concerns also the definition of consumer, which achieved the maximum unification after enactment of the Consumer Rights Directive in 2011. The thesis deals with unfair commercial practices focusing on the term since the implementation of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive. In the last part the thesis contains analysis of a research based on questionnaire concerning perception and opinions of Czech consumers on consumer protection and unfair commercial practices. The questionnaire also examines knowledge of consumer rights in four specific cases. Finally, the results are compared with Eurobarometer researches 2011.

The society and language transformation in a pair of political period

The thesis is aimed to the journalistic texts of the newspapers Rudé právo / Právo, Lidové noviny and Mladá fronta / Mladá fronta Dnes in two political periods (1945 ? 1989; 1989 ? 2011). The attention is focused to the structure of the newspapers, their scheme, categories and the way how the informations have been presented. The form newspapers changes are monitored systematically over the decades, studying their language and events are comparing with evaluation of the current historiography. The theoretical chapter simply contains the journalistic style ? its history, function, the middle genres devision in the separate parts. The practical part of this thesis describes the newspaper structure, their columns and gives examples of messages. In other part are illustrations of journalistic texts and newspapers headlines. The next chapter of this thesis is given to language part of diaries. The verbal means are briefly summarized in theoretical level. The examples are describes by individual journals. The thesis aim definites linguistic, social and political changes which are presented by journalism totalitarian system and compared to the current democratic form.

Foodjournalism in Czech newspapers betweenthe wars

In recent years, there is an apparent renaissance of the Czech cuisine, the "First Republic era" (1918 - 1938, CSR I) especially. Both chefs and journalists writing about cooking and dining are referring to the gastronomy of this time period more and more often and they are praising its quality and taste. However, there is no comprehensive publication about Czech gastronomy in 1918 - 1938 period, sparse references and notes can be found in witnesses commemorative volumes, from history of folklore and from the historical press, respectively. Based on the last especially, the image of "first republic" gastronomy is gradually puzzled out. Using a content analysis method, the four biggest newspapers (Lidové noviny, Národní listy, Český deník and Venkov) and eight women journals (Žena, Ženské listy, Ženské noviny, Ženský list, Rozsévačka, Česká Žena, Ženský svět and a "Československá žena" calendar) being published in examined period are investigated. The aim of this work is to perform financial analysis NEZA Pelhřimov, spol . s r. o for the period 2009 - 2013. The work is divided into two parts . The first part defines the methodological concepts and techniques of financial analysis , which are subsequently applied to the second part of the analyzed company . First of all, a horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements is performed,secondly, analysis of selected financial ratios are calculated and complemented by comparing the results of two competing companies and, finally, the insolvency prediction model IN 05 and prediction of the financial stringency evaluates the financial health of the company .
