Biodiversity of standing floodplain waters and processes of its formation and preservation
Pithart, David
Water chemistry and planktic communities in the naturally eutrophic alluvial waters in the Lužnice floodplain have been studied. The floofplain waters are naturally eutrophic, with strong vertical physico-chemical gradients and oxygen depletions at the botom. Small pools and backwaters of this type have unique phytoplankton structure. Prevailing dominance of flegellates, namely Cryptophyceae, and low proportion of green chlorococcal algae and Diatoms, and almost absence of Cyanophyceae are very unusual for such eutrophic waters. Flagellate dominate thanks their ability to keep the vertical position in a permanently light limited conditions (resulted from poorly mixed water columns and intensive shading of water surface by vegetation). Floodplain geodiversity play crucial role, determining morphology and location of pools and backwaters, their exposition to flooding and inflows of underground water. Terrestial vegetation effects light exposition, leaf litter.

Over the period of ten weeks, selected exercise geared towards the cross-country skiing was practiced with these students. The research method applied to measure students' indicators of balance before and after the excercise was an assessment of standing stability at the Footscan pressure table, as well as a walking test in terrain with blinded eyes. Results and Conclusions: This research has indicated the possibility of physical intervention in form of balance- related practice as part of the preparation before the cross-country skiing season begins. It has proven that selected balance-related excercise can be applied with no limitations during the physical education classes for visually impaired pupils. After the physical intervention, the majority of tested individuals showed improvements in their indicators of dynamic balance, as proved by the walking test in terrain with blinded...

This thesis deals with the evaluation of theability of machines to imitate human behavior. Presents a brief history of the development on the field of artificial intelligence and intelligent machines, specifically chat botsand describes their evolution throughout the 20th century. It describes the most important features and building blocks of chat bots, including the most widely used programming languages for creating them.It also describes the theory of A. Turing, the test and the imitation game, on which is based methodology for evaluating chat bots. Then it also examines the criticism of the Turing's test by J. R. Searle's chinese room argument that is used for its better understanding and finding its boundaries. The work also describes H. Dreyfus's assumptions, which led to optimism in the late 90s in development in artificial intelligence and limits of artificial intelligence, on which he pointed out. The main objective is the metodology proposed in the second part, which is used for comparing selected chat bots and then used for their evaluation. Overall evaluation consists of evaluations in the sub-categories in which will be individual chat bots scored. The methodology is based on the Turing test, which slightly modifies, but also extends thanks to the ideas of other authors.

The position of Czech electronic industry in global production network
Suchá, Tereza ; Blažek, Jiří (advisor) ; Ženka, Jan (referee)
The presented thesis deals with the position of the Czech electronic industry in global production network. The goal of this work was to determine whether the suppliers of the Czech electronic industry are involved in global production network and if so to assess the nature and the form of this involvement. The partial goal of this work was also to evaluate if there are common features of geographic concentration of the Czech electronic industry in the past and the present. The analysis was based on information for individual companies from Amadeus database and other sources. The result of conducted analyzes was a finding that there are two types of companies in Czech economy: independent and involved in global production network. From the companies involved in global production network the most of them can be found on the lowest positions in the network and therefore ocuppying the less favorable position. Despite these not very hopeful results we can see that for the companies on the position of the 3rd grade there was identified inter-sectoral upgrading even though in a limited degree. The common features of geographic concentration of the Czech electronic industry in the past and the present were also confirmed. Key words: global production network, electronic industry, upgrading, tiered structure

Afterwards these visions are interpreted in context of spiritual teaching and practicing of Advaita Vedanta. This approach enables studying of New Age spirituality from existential point of view and one gains an idea about its position not only in terms of eternal contemporary selfsearching but also more complex in terms of specific situation of modern man and his culture due to culturologic perspective. New Age within the scope of such approach appears as an environment where one can live more spiritually and which can be good base on a journey of deep spiritual understanding due to emphasis on individual selfsearching, freedom, internal responsibility and idea of Unity. However, for this seems to be necessary to step out of limited and comfortable New Age category - if it is comfortable mainly for ego and its needs, valuables and interrelated category of limited individual thinking. It is a level on the journey of understanding which has to be leaved as well as "searching" itself provided that the understanding would be fully realized. Such conclusion challenges deeper culturologic reflection of category or more likely of manifestations or statuses of odd principle of conscious existence and their relation to the...
