Bradáčová, Jana ; Matoušek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Sedláček, Milan (referee)
Souhrn diplomové práce Název práce: Výzkum absolventů Katedry sociální práce FF UK Vypracovala: Bc. Jana Bradáčová Obor: Sociální práce Vedoucí práce: Doc. PhDr. Oldřich Matoušek Oponent: PhDr. Milan Sedláček Summary Social work is a profession that in light of the growing number of social problem is going to be indispensable. It is important to be focused not just on the profession itself but also on the educational institutions that are providing the training and education to on-coming social workers. Principal aim of this thesis is to find out what kinds of exercise have students of the Department of Social work of FF UK that graduated in years 2005 to 2008. Further aim was to provide general information about the current position of the Social worker profession and also to provide complex summary about the selected education programs of Social work at Czech Universities. This thesis is dissertating about the profession of the Social worker in general. It is focused on professionalization of Social work in Czech Republic, on its conception as a human science branch and also about the role of the vocational association in this case. It is also providing compact summary about the possibilities of university education in Social work. In total are in Czech Republic 17 Faculties on 11 Universities, where is...

New learned compound elements in French
DAŇKOVÁ, Ivana
The topic of this thesis is "New confixes in French". This thesis is divided into two main parts: theoretical and analytical. The first part is theoretical and describes the historical development of "confixation" (learned compounding) as well as different theories and approaches to the word formation process. This part also defines "confixation" to other word formation processes (derivation and composition) and the structural component of "confixation" - a "confix". The second part is analytical and deals with specific learned stems (confixes) and learned compounding. The study material for this part of the thesis has been gained by the data excerption from the corpus Sketch Engine. The sample excerpted from the corpus is the subject of the analysis. The analysis focuses on the classic and modern confixes and their typology: classification of confixes according to the position in the learned compounding, or according to the origin, etc. The analysis also treats the morphological categories of learned compounding and their internal structure. The main focus is drawn to modern confixes that were created mostly by the change of meaning of the classic confix. This part deals with the newly created confixes in French that do not have the direct Greek or Latin base. These are mostly loanwords from English. The main aim of present thesis is to identify newly created confix compounds in comtemporary French.

Volumetric model of human vocal folds
Vampola, T. ; Horáček, Jaromír
The article describes the vollumetric 3D FE model of real human vocal folds in a defined phonation position. The model was developed from the CT images of the plaster casts obtained by a special procedure during experiments with the excised human larynges, when the phonatioon caused by the airflow was suddenly stopped without changing the position of the fixed larynx. The model is determined for studies of dynamical stresses in the vocal fold tissue during vocal folds collisions.

Viscometric study of L-Lysine- and 6-aminocaproic acid-hyaluronan systems behavior within the range of low aminoacids concentrations
Šimáčková, Marcela ; Běťák, Jiří (referee) ; Chytil, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates the interaction between high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid (1.75 MDa HA) and amino acids, particularly lysine and 6-aminocaproic acid. The interactions should occur between the carboxyl groups of HA carrying a negative charge and a positive charge located on the nitrogen atom of the protonated amino acids. The presence of these interactions would mean the possibility of establishing bioactive compounds, e.g. drugs, on hyaluronic acid, in which it would act as a targetting carrier. The interactions were examined at low concentrations for both aminoacids, i.e. below 10 mmoldm-3, and for 6-aminocaproic acid also at high aminoacid concentrations, i.e. above 20 mmoldm-3. The presence of interaction was investigated using not only rheology, but also by measuring pH and conductivity. Based on this research, the interactions manifested in terms of a decrease in the system viscosity.

Spectral properties of the source signal as speaker-specific cues
Vaňková, Jitka ; Skarnitzl, Radek (advisor) ; Volín, Jan (referee)
Despite a continuous development in computer sciences and related disciplines, speaker identification remains one of the most challenging tasks in forensic phonetics. The reason for this is the fact that our knowledge of how identity is reflected in the acoustic signal is still limited. The present study aims to contribute to the search of speaker-specific cues by examining spectral properties of the source signal. Specifically, it examines to what extent three short-term measures of spectral tilt, namely H1-H2, H1-A1 and H1-A3, can discriminate 16 Czech female speakers. It also addresses the influence of vowel quality, syllable status with respect to stress and position of stress group in the utterance on the values of these measures. The results show that these parameters do have some discriminative power, though the contribution of individual parameters differs. The study indicates that discrimination of speakers is the most successful in stressed syllables and argues that individual vowels could differ in their usefulness for speaker identification. The results of LDA based on these short- term measures of spectral tilt were complemented with long-term measures, namely alpha index, Kitzing index and Hammarberg index which quantify the slope of the LTAS. The present study suggests that...

Peacekeeping in 21st century: cooperation between UN
Suchardová, Hana ; Werkman, Kateřina (advisor) ; Bureš, Oldřich (referee)
International system is made by several different actors. Their position and relations are variable in time. We can see different interactions within actors. One of the most important fields is security. International organizations have primary position in this field, but some of their authorities were shifted to international organizations. In the - 4 - group of instruments for maintaining international peace and security we can find also peacekeeping missions. Peacekeeping is dynamic field of conflict management in practice and also in theory. Big changes occurred namely in 90s according to several failures of conflict management and namely peacekeeping in that period. African continent is a big challenge in this for structures as The United Nations and regional organization themselves. In regard of colonial past of this continent and often appearance of conflicts, some stable frame system is needed to be proposed for conflict management in this region. One of the possible solutions is deeper involvement of regional organizations into dealing with conflicts on their own territory. To achieve this firstly we have to analyze mission involving the sign of cooperation in the frame of some important factors. These factors were set up in the process of this research on the basis of theoretical frame of these...

The Importance of Education for Children with a Long-term Illness
Švajdová, Zdeňka ; Hejlová, Helena (advisor) ; Tomková, Anna (referee)
I analysed the importance of educating and teaching younger pupilage children in the theoretic tart. I described strategies and methods of educating longterm hospitalized children, specifics of educating environment in hospitals and medical institutions and history of teaching children. I also mentioned the right to education and teaching as part of childrens' rights. I charted teacher's work and position in health service. I discovered children's attitude towards learing in this environmet. Conclusion (of whole work): It's difficult, heavy and often unestimated occupation. But it's also necessary and it has benefit for children. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Class climate
KŘIKLAVOVÁ, Tereza
The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the climate in the classroom on the second substage of the elementary school in the context of the ongoing reform of the education system. In the theoretical section are explained basic concepts - for example social group, social roles, positions in groups, school climate, class climate. There are also described determinants of class climate, climate participants and there aren´t missing current approaches to study the class climate. The conclusion explains what is school reform. In the practical part are defined objectives and assumptions. There are further specified measurement method and the measurement process. At the end assumptions are authenticated.
