The Model of Financial Compensation for placement of a Deep Geological Repository of Radioactive Waste in the Czech republic in period from 2010 to 2016
Englerová, Anna ; Zeman, Martin (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
Author examines a way of allocation of governmental financial resources to municipalities in locations preselected for deep geological repository. She is searching for a way how to add a motivational incentive to the process of allocation of financial resources in order to improve municipalities attitude towards deep geological repository. Hypothesis, examined in this thesis, contains two related questions. It is assumed that (1) amount and structure of financial resources can significantly affect municipalities decision making and also that (2) current mechanism of allocation of compensations is ineffective and does not create sufficient incentives. Currently (end of the year 2016), negotiations between government and municipalities are in crisis despite significant financial compensation from government nuclear account to the municipalities. This thesis have potential to change municipalities negative stance on deep geological repository through motivational model of resource allocation. Theoretical part reviews basic economic background and introduces historical, sociological, technological and economic views of radioactivity and deep geological repository. In practical part author analyzes socio-economic situation, compares evolution of transfers from government to municipalities with their attitude towards deep geological repository in time and shows that current system of resource allocation does not motivate the municipalities to change their stance on deep geological repository. That confirms second part of our hypothesis. Author also proposes a motivational model of resource alllocation. She confirms its viability by comparing it with similar models from other countries, by surveying mayors of concerned municipalities and also by examining experts opinion. Verification of the model confirmed its motivational effect. By that, first assumption of our hypothesis, that structure of resource allocation can significantly affect municipalities decision making, was confirmed.

Bachelor thesis "Analysis of financing of inpatient care in the Czech Republic" focuses on the inpatient treatment and its funding. It provides an overview of facilities for inpatient care, tries to acquaint the reader with the functioning of the hospital financing mechanism and introduce different principles of inpatient health care financing in hospitals in selected region Vysočina. The statistical indicators, costs and revenues of hospitals in Vysočina are analysed and compared with other regions in the country. Data for analysis are gathered mainly from annual reports of hospitals, their financial statements and from websites ČSÚ and ÚZIS.

Manufacturing technology of plastic mixing body tube corpus
Pipek, Josef ; Vonka, Vladimír (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the complex manufacturing technology of plastic injection moulding. Literary work summarises knowledge of thermoplastic injection, thermoplastic bonding and choosing the right material for the given product. The reaction between the product and chemical substances plays a key role when choosing the right material. Therefore polypropylene is chosen for its high chemical and mechanical resistance. The given material is defined by technological data and technological process is proposed. A single-purpose injection mould for an existing injection machine is proposed for manufacturing the plastic mixing body tube corpus.

Branchial arches region and its blood vessels are extensively transformed in the embryonic development. Aim of this study is to investigate mechanisms of the branchial arches region development and to study how a morphogen Sonic hed gehog (Shh) participate on the formation and remodeling of branchial arches and their blood vessels. Influence of Shh was evaluated based on the changes caused by its inhibition in vivo. Shh function was inhibited with an anti-Shh antibody, which was produced into the embryo from the applied hybridoma cells. Shh signaling cascade was also inhibited by cyclopamine. Results show that Shh is important for dc novo format, ion of the blood vessels in the branchial arches region. Further Shh is necessary for stabilization of the vessel wall, mainly for anterior cardinal vein. Shh also alfects later vessel development and transformation, which includes i.e. fusion of the dorsal aorta, branching of the internal carotid artery and outflow tract development. Short time inhibition of Shh has minor effect on the apoptosis and proliferation activity of the branchial arches region mesenchymal cells. We assume that Shh signals directly to the blood vessels endothelial cells, as Shh receptor ptel is also expressed in endothelial cells and its signal is reduced with Shh inhibition. In studied...

Fatigue failure mechanism of nickel-based superalloy Inconel 713LC under 800°C
Smékalová, Jana ; Juliš, Martin (referee) ; Hutařová, Simona (advisor)
Nickel superalloys are used for high-temperature application in energetic and aerospace industry. They are exposed to aggressive environment at high temperatures with the interactions between fatigue and creep processes, high-temperature oxidation, corrosion and erosion. Lifetime extension of such strained parts while increasing the performance of particular machine is possible by applying protective surface coatings. The subject of this work is to investigate the fatigue failure mechanisms of superalloy Inconel 713LC at 800 °C and to compare these mechanisms between material with a protective coating based on Al-Si and material without coating. The location of initiation fatigue cracks, their propagation and the fatigue crack propagation rate in some areas were analyzed by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and confocal laser scanning microscopy. Based on previous research it was found that the application of the coating AlSi has a positive effect on lifetime of alloy Inconel 713LC. These results were confirmed and estimated in the diploma thesis.

Emergent properties of the G1/S network

Aspects of Gene Regulation of CYP3A4 in Hepatic Tissue.
Krausová, Lucie ; Štaud, František (advisor) ; Mičuda, Stanislav (referee) ; Skálová, Lenka (referee)
1 Summary CYP3A4 is an important enzyme involved in elimination of majority of metabolized xenobiotics. It plays a major role in the detoxification system of the human body, therefore it is responsible for many drug-drug interactions (DDIs). DDI present a complication of current pharmacotherapy, in the extreme they can lead in failure of therapy or in life-threatening toxic effects. DDIs are caused by changes in enzymatic activity of CYP3A4, which is highly variable among individuals. An important mechanism of modulating CAP3A4 activity is the regulation of inducible transcription by nuclear receptors, especially PXR, CAR and GR. The structure of CYP3A4 promoter and mechanisms of transcriptional regulation has been studding intensively for many years, but the research of relationship of nuclear receptors and transcriptional cofactors in CYP3A4 transactivation is still incomplete. Present work contributes to elucidation of some questions concerning the effects of azole antimycotics on CYP3A4 transcription via PXR, potency of valproic acid to activate PXR and CAR or determinants of CYP3A4 expression via GR in placental cells. The experiments were performed with up-to-date molecular biology methods and using in vitromodels of the primary human hepatocytes and hepatoma cell lines. To the aims of the doctoral...
