Analysis of retail opportunities and threats in Strakonice region

Principal objective of my authorized work has been to make analyse of retail´s opportunities and threat in section of quick high turnover goods in Strakonice. Information, which has been obtained, base on the analyse and observation, to write to the simulation software RetailOpportunitySim, to introduce screenplay of development and base on the results from the software to propose suitable actions for chosen retail´s subject. To calibrate the software was necessary to define the market geographically and define the real structure of the settlement. Survey was carried out and observations of the retail units on my chosen market. Scenarios were defined hypotheses were confirmed or rejected by software. The scenarios were applied to the retail unit Gastro.

Analysis of selected challenges when exporting fast-moving consumer goods from Mexico and suggestion of particular optimization

This Master´s Thesis deals with the exportation of fast-moving consumer goods from Mexico. The theoretical part explains the concept of FMCG and describes the steps that should generally be followed when exporting FMCG from Mexico. Furthermore, the elements related to maritime transportation are described, because this type of transport of exporting from this country is used most often. Within the specific case of Corona, detailed logistics structure of the export process is displayed. By analysing its operation, the main challenges associated with carriers used for the export are identified and ultimately partial solutions that should be implemented to minimize the occurrence of problematic points are suggested.


Analysis of Shopping Behavior by Fast Moving Consumer Goods in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of FMCG (fast-moving-consumer-goods) shopping behavior and the retail chain positioning. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the correspondence of the shopping behavior and the retail chain positioning for given retail chains. The analysis of shopping behavior is based on the questionnaire based on the representative sample of 4000 respondents. The shopping behavior is described with regard to seven segments defined by the Incoma GfK research agency. Two methods of shopping behavior are described in the thesis. The first one is the method based on the personally defined sorting rules created according to several questions selected from the questionnaire, and the second one that is based on the factor and cluster analysis. The self-created evaluating scale has been used to evaluate an influence of selected questions to segments viewed. In a similar way, the retail chains positionings have been determined based on the available data (opening hours , price level, provided services etc.). The correspondence of individual retail chain positioning and shopping behavior is evaluated in the conclusion.

Schopnost spotřebitelů reagovat na cenové slevy rychloobrátkového zboží

Main goal of this Master's thesis was to evaluate how price reductions influence consumers' likelihood to purchase FMCG products in connection to brand loyalty. Czech customers are characterized by high sensitivity to sales promotions. This thesis is focused on analysis of price discounts of shampoos in the Czech Republic. Leaflets of main retailers selling drugstore products were researched in order to describe the frequency and discount depth of shampoos. Customers' behaviour while buying shampoos and their attitude towards price discounts of shampoos were examined through a questionnaire. Main hypotheses that shampoos are discounted very frequently and of significant depth were confirmed. To conclude, customers' likelihood to buy shampoos increases heavily with discounted prices and some of the customers even believe that it is not worth buying shampoos for full prices.

Analysis of on-line communication mix of Danone Czech Republic and a proposal to its effectiveness

Diploma thesis studies the topic of on-line communication as a part of communication mix and marketing mix. It's closely connected with rapid technological development. It's therefore necessary to monitor trends, which are also part of the thesis. Based on the theoretical backgound, analysis of Czech internet and advertising environment and research of Czech firm's approach to on-line communication, author deals with the importance of on-line forms in comparison to other parts of communication mix. The outputs of the above are applied in the analysis of FMCG producer's on-line communication mix and competitive activities also. These findings are further formulated in recommendations for more effective on-line communication of analysed company and also serves to determine the new strategy.

Analysis of purchasing conditions and customers behavior in selected town

In theoretical part describes this thesis retail network and current trends in sales of fast moving consumers goods, especially grocery. The practical part interprets amenities of the city Hradec Králové with these shops, which are compared to each other according to predetermined criteria. Furthermore, is the thesis analyzing customer behavior, which was investigated by questionnaire survey.

Communication strategy for exact range of products of company Greiner in category of fast-moving consumer goods

In first part of my thesis, I introduced basic theories of marketing, which is marketing mix, SWOT analysis, then communication strategies, definition of ATL and BTL communication activities, definition of variety of commerce communications and their description. In practical part of my thesis I introduce the company itself, its history, rules and activities in Czech Republic. Then I attached a chapter about field investigation, its results and total summary of the investigation. At the end of my thesis I recommend a few improvements to get commerce strategy of GP Slušovice better.

Relaunch of the Nestlé Ricoré brand on the Czech and Slovak market

This thesis handles the issue of Relaunch of the Nestlé Ricoré brand on the Czech and Slovak market. The aim of this thesis was to describe the process of brandbuilding of the real fast mooving consumer good. In the theoretical part of the thesis I focused on the analysis and description of current situation of Nestlé Ricoré brand. In the practical part I proposed optimal strategy for relaunch of this brand.

Marketing Research of Retail Market

The purpose of the master’s thesis is a marketing research in retail market with fast-moving goods in relation to food purchases via the Internet. The first part of this work is devoted to theoretical description of the retail sector, current trends and aspects associated with the customer. The second part contains an analysis of retail development in the last decade and further analysis of the findings which serve as bases for the processing of marketing research. The information obtained from this survey will be used to formulate a proposal on new services for retailers, to reveal the perspectives of grocery shopping and consumer goods through the Internet or through other communication media.
