Examples of long term monitoring water retention in a peat bog and functioning of a wetland landscape during flood are given. Role of watelands in landscape restoration is mentioned.

Cryptographic schemes based on the discrete logarithm problem
Kadlček, Tomáš ; Holub, Štěpán (advisor) ; Růžička, Pavel (referee)
In the paper we try to give a view of the discrete logarithm problem, especially of related problems that appear in literature since 2001. These problems are based on a computation of Weil and Tate pairing on eliptic curves. We give a view of these problems including some reductions. We mention some chosen schemes based on these problems that are iteresting because of their practical parametrs, primaci of security proofs or because these schemes introduced the new problem. We try to cover precisely the most important definitions in this sector of cryptography because these definition are omitted in the literature and it is often left up to reader to presume details by himself.

Virtual Image of the Czech Sports via Unstructured Data Analysis
Levý, Jan ; Jelínek, Ivan (advisor) ; Profousová, Lenka (referee)
Analysis of unstructured data from social media is an important and constantly growing part of information technologies' application in the marketing context. The aims of this bachelors' thesis include creating a trial platform for the analysis of un-structured data from Facebook, research and application of suitable methods and metrics for the analysis, summarizing the analysis' findings and visualisation of selected metrics by means of a dashboard. The thesis' structure corresponds to the methods used for metting the aims set and compo-ses of seven parts. The first part summarizes motives for social media analysis, deals with the approach to the topic in the contemporary scientific papers and discusses comercial tools that could be used for such analysis. The second part describes gathering of data with a crawler, setting the connection and getting the access rights to the data sources. The structure of downloaded documents and appropriate choice of data sources is also described in this part. The third part adresses the tools used for the analysis, namely Elas-ticsearch and Kibana. The fourth part defines possible questions that may be asked in the context of Czech sports image on Facebook. The fifth part identifies the metrics necessary for the questions assesment and describes corresponding data selection. The sixth part completes the analysis itself and summarizes its findnings. The seventh part describes Ki-bana's dashboard use for effective summarizing of selected metrics. The main bachelors' thesis contribution lies in the illustration of social media analysis pos-sibilities on the example of Czech sportsmen and Czech sports in general on Facebook. A crawler has been used to gather the data for the purpose of the analysis. The other em-ployed tools included Elasticsearch and Kibana, which have enabled the data selection and visualisation. The analytical approach consisted of four parts; definition of analytical que-stions, definition of methods and metrics to find answers to these questions, followed by the analysis itself and the summary of results. The following points belong to the analysis' findnings: identification of sportsman with the highest marketing potential, comparison of analysed sports according to the perceived image by fans and desgination of the pages with most interacting followers.

New trends in the metrology of geometrical quantities
Lazar, Josef
The contribution deals with an overview of trends in modern fundamental dimensional metrology. This is since the introduction of the definition of metre derived from the vacuum speed of light the domain of laser optics and interferometry. The fundamental etalons of length are highly stable optical oscillators – lasers and the primary measurements of lengths are performed by interferometers. This overview covers the newest results of development of stabilized lasers and interferometry of high resolution in the sub-nanometre range especially concerning the results achieved at the Department of Coherence Optics of the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the ASCR in this field.

Product placement in the Czech cinematographic creative aktivity
Suková, Martina ; Boháček, Martin (advisor) ; Postler, Milan (referee)
The thesis deals with analysis of legal aspects of product placement and its impact on consumers. First, it explains the concept of product placement from a general point of view - its definition, classification, and the advantages and disadvantages that product placement represents. The main objective of this work is to identify all legislation that touches on the issues of the phenomenon of our times - product placement, defining the precise definition and its effect on the viewer in the role of consumers. Product placement is based on the directive of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2007/65/EC transposed into Czech law as "umístění produktu". The implementation is reflected in the "on-demand audiovisual media services Act" and also in the amendment of Act No 231/2001 Coll. The extent to which product placement is used and what types of products are most abundant in Czech films was identified on a sample of Czech cinematographic production. These results were then compared with the Audiovisuals from the United States. The questionnaire was implemented as the intention to assess what is the general awareness of Czech consumers about this marketing tool.
