Qualitative research on family systems of people with addictions

The bachelor thesis deals with family issues and addiction issues. Explains some important concepts from the field of addiction and families in general. Specifically, it deals with alcohol dependence and addiction to slot machines. The aim of this work is to find from which the family environment come people with alcohol dependence or gamblers and then trace some common characteristics (risk factors) in these families, which could be one of the causes of addiction.

The intention of this thesis is to analyse case studies and identify factors of successful succession in Czech family owned businesses (FOB). The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the subject and objective of my thesis. Second one deals with theoretical background of entrepreneurship, history of entrepreneurship in Czech Republic and last but not least with theoretical background of FOB. The third chapter is an analysis of researches about succession in FOB made in Czech Republic and also in other parts of world. Title: Motivation of Special Olympics athletes for participating and leaving the Special Olympics Program in the Czech Republic Student: Bc. Radka Příhodová Advisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, PhD. Objectives: The main objective of this project is to explore motivation of Special Olympics athletes for participation in Special Olympics Program in the Czech Republic and the reasons why some of the athletes leave the program. A secondary objective is to learn more about Special Olympics coaches, athletes and their families, and to receive further details about coaches' and families perception ofthe Special Olympics Program. Methods: The thesis is divided up into two sections: theoretical and the results. The theoretical section introduces the subject of mental handicap, different views of the term, the classification of the handicap and its etiology. With regard to common occurrence of Down syndrome among the population of people with mental retardation one chapter presents this chromosomal disorder. The lords of Lobkowicz and Hassenstein in the late middle ages

The modern prince family of Lobkowicz243 has its roots in North Bohemia several hundred years ago. This diploma work deals with the general history and cultural meaning of this family in Late Middle Ages, concretely in the course of 15th century and at the beginning of the following century. This work consists of three chapters. The first one is concerned with the history of the Lobkowiczs in its first five generations (14th-16th centuries). Rare information about the first known members of the family are dated to the end of the rule of the Emperor Charles IV. The Lobkowiczs belonged to lower nobility and were known as lairds of Újezd.244 Martin (commonly Mareš) of Újezd had three sons: Blaze (Blažej or Blažek), Wenceslas (Václav) and Nicolas (Mikuláš). The oldest Blaze died early and Wenceslas was a priest, so it was only the youngest son Nicolas who could secure the maintenance of the family. Nicolas of Lobkowicz, a man of high intellectual skills, a talented diplomat and politician, gained confidence of Wenceslas IV, King of Bohemia, and kept a close connection to the royal court. It was him who bought the village and fort Lobkovice in 1410, that gave name to the family. Comparison of house prices in different parts of the city of Brno in 2015 and 2016

Diploma thesis deals with price comparison of family house in Brno – Královo Pole between 2015 and 2016. This family house is located near of the town center and then will be as a simulation moved to the outskirts, Brno – Líšeň. House prices are determined by observed price and market value. The task is to find out and evaluate the price differences, dependents to the valuation time and the place. I will make summary of factors that affect these prices.

The thesis deals comparison of house prices in Nový Jičín and its surroundings in 2015 and 2016. This family house is located in the village Starý Jičín and then for comparison will be moved to the center of Nový Jičín. In given locations we have to determined observed price and market value. In theoretical part is explained basic terminology, the main legislation which was used and methods of valuation of immovable property. The result of this work is getting to know the influences of locations of family house and it´s price. and identify factors that influence these prices.

Case study of family finances in the context of macroeconomic data in 2009–2013

The focus of my thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the individual family and compare it with the average Czech family, according to data collected by the Czech Statistical Office. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical ones. In the first part there are introduced the theoretical framework and the basic theoretical concepts adopted for this study. In the second part is the family budget based on real data from a bank account analysed. Finally, I propose a more efficient use of available funds, found in a family bank account, and thus I can explain the importance of investing. My thesis is is consistent with the macroeconomic developments and the financial crisis in 2009--2013.

Women in the labor market in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the role of women in the labor market in the Czech Republic. The goal is to determine the role of women in the labor market in the Czech Republic, to 74 compare the perceived status of women identified through research with the real situation on the labor market and consequently propose corrective measures. The theoretical part deals with gender and gender-integrated organizations, feminism and emancipation movement, discrimination against women in the labor market, anti-discrimination measures by the State and the European Union, the development of the labor market position of women in the labor market position of women in the family and the possibility of harmonizing work and family life. The practical part includes primary research, which aims to map the perception of the problem of women in the labor market, the possibility of harmonizing work and family, results analysis and research for action.

Appraisement of a family house

This bachelor thesis deals with the appraisement of family houses. Real estate market and appraised properties are in the mikroregion Lipno. In the introductory part is described what is the real estate market, valid legislative and basic terms on appraisement and properties. Then there are described methods and approaches based on the market principle and the price regulation. Furthermore the thesis describes the kind of people who appraise properties, experts and appraisers belong amongst them. The begining of the practical part describes the real estate market in Lipno region. The purchase prices and estimated prices of family houses in Prachatice and Český Krumlov regions are compared. The result of the comparison is that higher demand for real estates is in Český Krumlov region. The fact that in Český Krumlov region is higher number of family houses transfer salso supports this result. Then there is described selected family house which is situated in Černá v Pošumaví in Český Krumlov region. Family house is appraised with comparative, value and cost methods.
