Aspects of the Pastoral Care in the Pauline Congregations
Ravasz, Hajnalka ; Pokorný, Petr (advisor) ; Theißen, Gerd (referee) ; Luz, Ulrich (referee)
The thesis "Aspects of the Pastoral Care in the Pauline Congregations" presents some aspects of the praxis of pastoral care in the graeco-roman Antiquity and in the New Testament how it is principally revealed in the 1st Thessalonians. The main chapters of the thesis expose the chosen aspects of pastoral care like the function of imitation and examples, the role of the pastor in the pastoral act, the process of comforting or the caring congregations. But the research does not end with the comparison of the antic psychologic tradition with the Pauline practise; at least one modern social-psychological method is introduced in every chapter and they are used as a help for a different and sometimes maybe astonishing re-reading of the well-known Bible texts. The social connections analyzing social psychology helps the New Testament finding new methods and language to express the caring interactions between Paul and his congregations. This interdisciplinary thesis aims after binding the biblical texts with their contemporary context and the modern social psychology to reach a helping hand for the practical theology, mainly for pastoral care drawing the conclusion from the exegesis for our eneryday practise. Řízení IS/ICT se zaměřením na sourcing služeb informačního systému
Šebesta, Michal ; Voříšek, Jiří (advisor) ; Havlíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Příklenk, Oldřich (referee) ; Král, Jaroslav (referee)
Research on outsourcing has been around for several decades, while recent evolution in the information systems discipline towards ICT service commoditization significantly changes the context of decision-making. Services that are available on-demand via the Internet allow organizations implementing functions they demand in a fraction of time. This trend represents a chance for organizations seeking to use advanced ICT services without a need of major investments. Problem is the current lack of guidelines and tools for managing ICT services and their outsourcing. Given the trends on the ICT service market, it is expected that much of the IT management in the future will encompass the ICT services and utilize service-level structures. Methods currently available are either too broad or encompass only small part of the whole problem. Ad-hoc or unsound decisions in this area might cause major complications in terms of quality, usability, integration, and consequently influence total cost of organizational IT. Organizations need to either revise existing models or propose and implement completely new models to manage their IS/ICT. This thesis deals with the management of IS/ICT with focus on the ICT services outsourcing. It discusses available sourcing models in the literature and links them to the various interconnected areas. Based on these areas, it presents an integrated view on IT outsourcing strategies. Most importantly the thesis proposes an original concept for decision-making about outsourcing of ICT services named the SOURCER framework. This approach utilizes the presented outsourcing strategies, and introduces a complex methodology and decision-making criteria that will assist organizations with selection of ICT services in order to maintain and manage a most suitable ICT service portfolio. The decision-making is based on four essential viewpoints: function, costs, time, and quality. These viewpoints are discussed, individually analyzed, and serve as a basis for further research. The whole framework is developed and validated according to Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). Individual components are evaluated using a survey among a group of selected IT managers. Proof of concept is then established by a case study on framework use in a real organization. This case study covers strategy specification, business--IT alignment, specifying service architecture and its interconnections, outsourcing, and management of the ICT service portfolio.

Ion attachment and ion emission of dust grains
Vyšinka, Marek ; Němeček, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Wild, Jan (referee)
Small dust grains could be found in many environments. Because of their size, their charge and the electric forces acting on them play an important role in their dynamics. The dust grain charge is influenced by many different processes. Among other methods, charging processes can be studied by trapping a single dust grain inside an electrodynamic quadrupole where it is put into specific environment (ion or electron beam, UV radiation). The progress of the charging process can be inferred from the changes in the grain charge. Our work contributed to the building of a new laboratory set-up for study of the charging processes. Specifically, a new Faraday cup for measurements and stabilization of the ion and electron gun currents is designed and its function verified. It solves the shortcomings of the previously used Faraday cups. Further, an amplifier for the ion gun current measurement is designed and constructed along with the design of digital stabilization of the current. The stabilization is neccesary for the interpretation of measurement results and its digitalization will allow more flexible adjustment and easier connection with the control computer. Finally, data acquired during the charging of dust grain with different ion species are evaluated in order to study the effect of different ions on surface...

Development of tool for passive immunization of cystic fibrosis patients
Pacholíková, Lenka ; Hodek, Petr (advisor) ; Švédová, Martina (referee)
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is one of the most common heriditary diseases. This congenital condition, caused by CFTR gene mutation, affects gastrointestinal and respiratory system especially. The affection of respiratory system is considered the most serious life-threatening symptom. Pacients suffer from reccurent infections proceeding to the development of chronic inflammation and progressive pulmonary tissue destruction. A typical specific microoganism colonizating pulmonary tissue of thouse suffering from CF is recognised as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pulmonary infections caused by this microorganism are the most often cause of death in patients suffering from CF. Antiobiotics are the first-line therapy of this condition currently. Nevertheless, the need to find alternatives occurs due to antibiotics resistance development. Passive immunization by specific hen-egg-yolk antibodies against P. aeruginosa is a possible alternative. An observation of IgY influence on a bacterial adhesion to pulmonary epithelial cells required an appropriate model. In this context an appropriate adhesion testing method based on P. aeruginosa and pulmonary epithelial cells visualisation was searched. At first bacterial cells labelling was tested by CellTracker, resazurin, FITC and consequently PKH 26. P. aeruginosa fluorescent...

Legal regulation of hazardous waste disposal
Komunitární předpisy odpadového hospodářství jsou do českého právního řádu transponovány zejména zákonem č. 185/2001 Sb., o odpadech, v platném znění, a řadou prováděcích předpisů.

Turenko, Polina ; Szobi, Pavel (advisor) ; Johnson, Zdenka (referee)
The thesis features development and implementation of the agrarian reforms process in the economic and socio-legal context, directed on formation of peasant owners middle class, are analyzed. General approaches to solution of the Russian Empire agrarian and peasant questions are reviewed. Problems of private ownership features in the Russian Empire and influence of communities on economic activity, spiritual traditions, law commitments and life of the Russian peasantry are investigated. Economic and social-legal position of the peasantry before Peter Stolypin reforms are esteemed. Using historiographical, comparative and statistical methods there are introduced key figures that characterize state of the economy and social progress in the peasantry situation. The reforms resulted in rapid agricultural production growth, the internal market expansion, agricultural products export increase. However, the main achievement of the reforms, in my opinion, is inclusion of the Russian peasantry of the early twentieth century into land-market and economic market-capitalist relations, that have served as the basis for a middle class formation in the Russian Empire.

New proposals for hash functions
Sušil, Petr ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor) ; Holub, Štěpán (referee)
Hash functions are an important cryptographic primitive. They are used as message authentication codes, manipulation detection codes and in many cryptograhic protocols. This thesis gives an explanation of the recent generic attacks against hash functions. It also explains the attack against authentication hash function COMP128, which was being used til 2002 in GSM network. The thesis also discusses possible flaws in a new authentication hash function SQUASH designed for an RFID chip.

Selected psychological connections of changes in teachers' profession and their profesional preparation
Štětovská, Iva ; Gillernová, Ilona (advisor) ; Vališová, Alena (referee) ; Dobrovská, Dana (referee)
The thesis introduces a rather unusual continual discussion concerning the context of social changes and their impact on school life, pre-gradual preparation, and professional achievement of teachers. The text surveys the connectedness between recent social changes and the development of professional institutions, especially schools. The author considers gradual weakening of primarily educational function of schools and their shift of social responsibility toward educative and socializing commitments. As a consequence of such changes special attention is paid to current teachers' position and modifications of their professional activities. The author attempts to state new teachers' competences and highlights of their work. She asks what new demands can be observed in the course of teachers' professional preparation. Regarding the key position of relationships at current schools, the text focuses on communication patterns at school, which are fulfilled via relationships. The author discusses social support problems in details as they represent a crucial factor of teachers' work. The text introduces various approaches to a safe feedback to teachers. Particular examples include methods of video- interaction guidance and Balint groups applied to teachers' work. Regarding psychological applications and the...
