On Motivation of Moravian and Silesian Anoikonyms Derivate from the Appellative kámen
Šimečková, Marta
This paper deals with motivation of Moravian and Silesian minor place names containing the basic noun kámen ‚stone‘, e. g. Kameňák (the suffix -ák was attached to the respective noun to create this anoikonym), Kamenice (with the suffix -ice), Kamenička (with the suffix -ička). There are numerous motivations, the most frequent is the motivation of soil quality and of location (especially in prepositional anoikonyms, for example Mezi kamencem, Na kamenici). Other motivations are rare: motivation of a particular stone as significant part of the landscape, motivation of building material or stone mining. The frequency of these motivations is different from the frequency of motivations in underived anoikonyms (or anoikonyms containing plural form of the fundamental word Kameny; in this type of anoikonyms, motivation by a particular stone in the site is more frequent). The motivation is hard to determine in some cases, the interpretation can be impeded by bachelor's etymology therefore it is necessary to cooperate with old maps.

In further chapters I analyze the top football and hockey leagues in sports and economically developed countries all over the world. The survey follows. It covers the naming rights situation in the Czech Republic. Based on the results of the survey I compare naming rights in the Czech Republic and in the analyzed countries.

This thesis "Calling of Partners" describes how people keep calling and naming their partners in private communication and it deals with analyzing of special kind of partners calling; as lovers' as partners' names. There is one important part telling about expressivity and diminutive ways. There is also a special section which describes wordformative parsing where there are partners callings divided into sixteen semantic groups. These groups shows how partner might be compared to something very dear, love, an animal, a plant, food or sci-fi character etc.

Zilynská, Blanka ; Šmahel, František (advisor) ; Hledíková, Zdenka (referee) ; Čornej, Petr (referee)
The dissertation thesis takes up the paper dealing with the synods of Hussite clergy in Bohemia from 1418 to 1440. This book consisted of list of sources and literature about synods held in that period, analysis of some texts and appreciation of the role of synods in the Hussite Church administration including their ideological acting. Starting from the final turning point of that paper (1440), I followed up with the research and interpretation of the topic. The Hussite synods before 1440 were divided according to the region into Prague, Tábor and common disputations (hádání), the Catholic synods are not documented. It was necessary to keep track of the activities of both official confession groups in the country in the following period. The Tábor centre could be observed only till 1444, when its activities came to an end. Nevertheless, a new independent radical group Unitas Fratrum (Unity of Brethern, Jednota bratrská) appeared during the examined period. The phenomenon of their synods is so specific, that it could be only mentioned in this paper. The paper is limited within the Prague diocese. The development in Moravia was completely different, that is why it was not implicated in the research. Despite I continue the research of a phenomenon named with the same term, the scene as well as the...
