Analysis of selected challenges when exporting fast-moving consumer goods from Mexico and suggestion of particular optimization
Kudelová, Jarmila ; Kolář, Petr (advisor) ; Staroba, Jaromír (referee)
This Master´s Thesis deals with the exportation of fast-moving consumer goods from Mexico. The theoretical part explains the concept of FMCG and describes the steps that should generally be followed when exporting FMCG from Mexico. Furthermore, the elements related to maritime transportation are described, because this type of transport of exporting from this country is used most often. Within the specific case of Corona, detailed logistics structure of the export process is displayed. By analysing its operation, the main challenges associated with carriers used for the export are identified and ultimately partial solutions that should be implemented to minimize the occurrence of problematic points are suggested.

Evaluation of elastic parameters for models of isolated cells
Krbálek, Jaroslav ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on computational modeling of the cell mechanical tests. The goal of this thesis is to build a cell model and to simulate compression test on this model. If necessary, the model should be adjusted so the model reflects real cell behavior. It was created the cell model reflecting cytoplasm, nucleus, membrane and cell cytoskeleton. Cytoskeleton was modeled as tensegrity structure. After this, the pressure test was simulated on this model. The behavior of the cell model and real cell was compared using the stress force. The stress force - cell deformation curve was markedly different for the cell model and the real cell. For this reason, the cytoplasm material model was adjusted. The difference between the curves was acceptable after this modification. It was found during computations that the cytoskeleton model influence on the cell load is minimal. These results does not reflects real cell behavior, which means that the model is considered inadequate for performing stress load simulation.

The Model of Financial Compensation for placement of a Deep Geological Repository of Radioactive Waste in the Czech republic in period from 2010 to 2016
Englerová, Anna ; Zeman, Martin (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
Author examines a way of allocation of governmental financial resources to municipalities in locations preselected for deep geological repository. She is searching for a way how to add a motivational incentive to the process of allocation of financial resources in order to improve municipalities attitude towards deep geological repository. Hypothesis, examined in this thesis, contains two related questions. It is assumed that (1) amount and structure of financial resources can significantly affect municipalities decision making and also that (2) current mechanism of allocation of compensations is ineffective and does not create sufficient incentives. Currently (end of the year 2016), negotiations between government and municipalities are in crisis despite significant financial compensation from government nuclear account to the municipalities. This thesis have potential to change municipalities negative stance on deep geological repository through motivational model of resource allocation. Theoretical part reviews basic economic background and introduces historical, sociological, technological and economic views of radioactivity and deep geological repository. In practical part author analyzes socio-economic situation, compares evolution of transfers from government to municipalities with their attitude towards deep geological repository in time and shows that current system of resource allocation does not motivate the municipalities to change their stance on deep geological repository. That confirms second part of our hypothesis. Author also proposes a motivational model of resource alllocation. She confirms its viability by comparing it with similar models from other countries, by surveying mayors of concerned municipalities and also by examining experts opinion. Verification of the model confirmed its motivational effect. By that, first assumption of our hypothesis, that structure of resource allocation can significantly affect municipalities decision making, was confirmed.

Initial stages of fatigue failure of polycrystalline materials
Man, Jiří ; Petrenec, Martin ; Obrtlík, Karel ; Polák, Jaroslav
Geometry of persistent slip markings (PSMs) formed during cyclic loading of polycrystalline stainless steels and superalloy was studied using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (SEM-FEG). Internal dislocation structure was investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Persistent slip bands with dislocation structure corresponding to the cyclic strain localization were identified and correlated with PSMs observed on the specimen surface.

Čáslavská, Eliška ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the topic " Recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements in the European Union (International civil procedure law in the European Union - selected issues). Aim of my thesis is to provide systematic overview of legal rules directly applicable on recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements. The text is divided into eight main chapters, introduction and conclusion. The introduction of the thesis describes purpose of the text that is to compare particular regulations governing these questions and also defines basic terminology important for this topic. Following chapters focus on relevant regulations and have uniform structure. Opening of each chapter explains elementary characteristics of applicable regulation, reception of this regulation and its main goal. Next subchapters contain demarcation of the material competence of regulation, after that follows procedure of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements. The chapter ends with relations to other instruments. Chapter Two concentrates on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements pursuant to Brussels I Regulation (Council Regulation (EC) No 44/2001 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters) which is the first legal instrument in this area and...

The structural and the fundamental mechanical properties of intermatallics on the base of TiAl
Krahula, Karel ; Dlouhý, Ivo
Gamma TiAl alloys are emerging as a pervasive structural material. Remarkable progresses have been made through refining lamellar microstructure and grains, microalloying, chemistry modification, process development and/or their combination. The main thrust was to enhance resistance to creep deformation, oxidation and high cycle fatigue deformation/failure. Less or even no knowledge have been obtained in the field of the intermetalics fracture at uniaxial or bending loading, there are missing data about their behaviour at the presence of cracks and other defects. The reason is simply in the other properties that are key from application point of view. Due to their brittleness at temperature close to room temperature the investigation of the intermetalics fracture is complicated but promissible provided it bring ideas for the further development of the alloying and microstructure. The paper is focused on the first steps in this field.
