Public Opinion on Activities of Various Institutions Concerning Environmental Issues
Tabery, Paulína
In May 2009, Centre for Public Opinion Research asked questions about environment and its protection. Czech citizens should evaluate activity of Czech Republic in this area and also activities of some state institutions and ecological organizations in these questions. Concretely we were interested in opinions of Czechs on activity of Government, Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic, Parliament, Regional Offices, Municipal Offices. We also investigated, whether Czechs are interested in information about the environment and have enough this kind of information.

Plasmodiophora brassicae on winter rape
Řičařová, Veronika ; Ryšánek, Pavel (advisor) ; Jaroslav, Jaroslav (referee)
Winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus) is an important crop in the Czech Republic. Clubroot disease caused by the pathogen Plasmodiophora brassicae Wor. is a serious and still-growing problem for oilseed rape growers. Research on P. brassicae in the Czech Republic is therefore important for the development of effective strategies to manage clubroot under Czech environmental conditions. One of the aims of this study was monitoring of this pathogen. The disease was previously widespread in commercial vegetable production and in hobby gardens. Since 2010, oilseed rape clubroot started to spread across the whole country, whereas it had previously only been observed in the northeast. Clubroot occurrence was monitored for five years by the Union of Oilseed Growers and Processors on the basis of disease symptoms present on oilseed rape fields. The presence of P. brassicae and clubroot symptoms were reported in all regions of the Czech Republic, except the Ústecký Region, and in 31 out of 76 districts. At present, at least 130 fields are known to be infested by the pathogen, but this number is very likely underestimated. Some soil samples were also tested by conventional PCR (polymerase chain reaction) to evaluate the possibility of their usage. All 14 suspected samples tested positive by PCR. The next aim was to evaluate the pathotype composition of P. brassicae populations from the Czech Republic, according to the three evaluation systems, and to determine soil inoculum loads for representative fields via traditional end-point PCR as well as quantitative PCR analysis. There were considerable differences between the populations of P. brassicae, and the number of pathotypes varied depending on the evaluation system and the threshold used to distinguish susceptible vs. resistant plant reactions. This is the first study comparing the effect of different thresholds. Using an index of disease (ID) of 25 % to distinguish susceptible vs. resistants reactions, there was a total of five pathotypes identified based on the differentials of Williams, five with the system of Somé et al., and 10 with the European Clubroot Differential (ECD) set. However, based on a threshold of 50%, there were five pathotypes according to the evaluation system by Williams, four based on the differentials of Somé et al. and 8 with the ECD set. Changing of the thresholds led to the reclassification of some pathotypes. Pathotypes 7 by Williams was the most frequent in both thresholds. High amounts of pathogen DNA were found in many of the field soils analysed by quantitative PCR. Experiments with P. brassicae-resistant cultivars of winter oilseed rape were conducted in an infested field and greenhouse. In the greenhouse, six resistant cultivars were grown in infested soil collected from various fields in the Czech Republic and assessed for index of disease (ID %). The best results bring cultivar Mentor (2+- 0.7 %) closely followed by cultivar SY Alister (5+-1.1 %), the highest ID had cultivar CHW 241 (30+-3.8%). In the field experiment, seven resistant cultivars were grown, and disease development was monitored monthly. The lowest index of disease brought cultivar Andromeda (3+- 0.8 %) and PT 235 (4+-1.5 %), the highest ID has cultivar CWH 241(46 +- 6.5 %) in the first season and in the second season any cultivar achieved 25 % ID. Yields were measured at the end of the cropping season. The highest yield was achieved by cultivar SY Alister (6.1 t/ha) in the first season and cultivar PT 242 (5.03 t/ha) in the second season. The inoculum level was measured across the field by (qPCR), and a map of the infestation was created. The highest spore concentration was found on the field entrance. Collectively, the information obtained on the effectiveness of host resistance and pathogenic diversity of P. brassicae populations from the Czech Republic may help to more effectively manage clubroot in this country.

Analysis of competition in the services market
Shashkova, Tatiana ; Soukupová, Jana (advisor) ; Adámek, Petr (referee)
The thesis deals with the analysis of market competition hairdressing services, concretely with analysis of three salons which provide hairdressing services in the Centre of Prague. Preliminary I present and define key terms that play basic role in the analysis of competition in the chosen field (competition, the specifics of hairdressing market, the specifics of consumer behavior). To make my own research I elected standards that influence customers when they choose a hairdressing salon, and I created questionnaire. During valuation I commented point gains. Total score were used to to evaluate the competitive position of hairdressing salons in the market.

Evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching vocational subjects depending on physical activity before schooling.
Janošíková, Martina ; Hanušová, Marie (advisor)
The period of transition to secondary school brings substantial changes in the requirements for study obligations, autonomy, communication, expression, or separated from their families in the form of staying at the dormitory. Students enrolled in sport centers, in addition to these changes, still struggling with the responsibilities associated with sport. Because they are students first through fourth grades of secondary schools and secondary vocational schools, an age when image self-I am, what I believe in, arises in interactions with the outside world and their own experience, plays a very important role to influence the environment, educators, teachers and trainers, with which students spend most of their time in practice. This study looks at students comprehensively in terms of personal development as a multifactorial biopsychosocial unit, in terms of cognitive and motivational processes, states and properties from the perspective of social psychology dealing with the interactions, relationships and communication, psychology of individuals within the social group and its importance for the development of the individual . It monitors conditions and educational outcomes in terms of educational psychology, dealing with forming properties, opinions, attitudes and value orientation from the perspective of educational psychology.

The bachelor thesis analyses the final practical examination of students at a vocational school a private institute in Prague that trains cooks and waiters who receive full vocational certificate training. The analysis was performed in school years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 and 2014-2015. The aim of my thesis is to compare the quality and knowledge level of written, practical and oral final examinations. The thesis analyses the results of the tests according to individual assignments. The theoretical part of my thesis describes the individual components of the final examinations, evaluation criteria, final examinations following uniform assignment, and the history of our school. The practical part describes the actual course of all the parts of the final examinations both in their former and contemporary unified assignment form. Results of both forms are then confronted and compared.

The Environmental Aesthetics of Arnold Berleant
Lahovská, Kristýna ; Dadejík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Kaplický, Martin (referee)
The aim of this dissertation is focusing on environmental aesthetics of Arnold Berleant. Firstly we concentrated on his theoretical aesthetics opinions and then we passed to use them on field of environmental aesthetics. To draw a comparison we used writings of another American aesthetician, Allen Carlson. In sphere of Berleant's theoretical aesthetics opinions it is not possible to omit concepts of aesthetical experience, value and social factor. These points are important ideas of aesthetics of engagement, which we would like to present. As useful for environmental aesthetics we also see Berleant evaluation of negative and positive aesthetics values. In case of Allen Carlson we use several models in the field of theoretical aesthetics. The author assessments the functionality of these models for environmental aesthetics. The last point of this dissertation is focusing on a certain type of environment, to architecture and "Disney World", respective. In this field we wanted to demonstrate how the Berleant works with certain type of environment. Allen Carlson chooses as certain type of environment American farms. He concentrates on point how these farms have changed during one century. KEYWORDS: Arnold Berleant, Allen Carlson, environmental aesthetics, aesthetics value, aesthetics experience
