Doris Humphrey (her Contribution to the Development of modern dance Techniques)

In my thesis I focused on American dancer and choreographer Doris Humphrey.
I tried not only to approach her life in detail, but mainly to point out sources of inspiration that led to a technique based on the principle of ?fall x recovery?.
She was inspired by both human being and his everyday experience and Fridrich Nietzsche and his philosophical work The Birth of Tragedy.
Doris Humphrey created a system of exercises, which should lead to the development of her technique, and that?s why I chose a few exercises which illustrate this system. I dealt with detailed description of them and I enclosed photographs as well.
At conclusion of my work I was thinking of her contribution to the development of modern dance techniques.

Selected ethical context of violence against seniors in terms of social workers

This dissertation deals with the ethical context of violence against seniors in the point of view of social workers. The theoretical part devotes with problems of old age and aging in contemporary society. The next section presents the violence, with an emphasis on institutional violence. The third charter reflects the theme of violence from the perspective of social work and ethics. The target of the practical parts was to map out knowledge and attitudes of workers in social services for violence against seniors, and to establish the circumstances that contribute to the potential threat of violence in the institutionalized elderly care. This part contains the basic results of empirical studies and case studies.

CNC Programming if the Single Point Incremental Forming

V současné době se zvyšuje potřeba rozvoje agilních výrobních postupů, které lze snadno přizpůsobit neustálému zavádění nových produktů na trh. Jednobodové inkrementální tváření je nový, inovativní a proveditelný tvářecí proces s jednoduchým uspořádáním. Proces se provádí při pokojové teplotě (tváření za studena) a vyžaduje CNC stroj, nástroj s kulovou hlavou a jednoduché příslušenství pro uchycení obrobku plechu. V samotném procesu jde o přírůstkové formování, řízené CNC programem. Plastická deformace je lokalizována pod formovacím nástrojem takže plech je tvářen souhrnem pohybů lokální plastické zóny. Tento proces je zdlouhavý a proto se hodí pouze pro prototypovou výrobu nebo pro malé výrobní dávky. Na druhé straně umožňuje vyšší tvářitelnost ve srovnání s konvenčními procesy tváření, umožňuje použití levných nástrojů a také je charakterizován krátkou dobou od návrhu po výrobu produktu. Tato práce je výsledkem mezinárodní spolupráce Danmarks Tekniske Universitet v Lyngby a Instituto Superior Técnico v Lisabonu. Práce začíná krátkým hodnocením dílčích tvářecích procesů, pokračuje představováním jednobodového inkrementálního tváření a identifikací jeho praktických aplikací. Teoretická část obsahuje přehled nového rámce pro jednobodové inkrementální tváření, který je vytvořen na základě analýzy styku třecích sil. Praktická část projektu poskytuje úplný popis experimentálních technik použitých pro charakterizaci materiálů a stanovení limitů tvářitelnosti, dále se analyzuje vliv různých vstupních parametrů procesu (poloměru nástroje, tepelné zpracování materiálu obrobku, druh maziva,...). Tato část také obsahuje přehled experimentálního uspořádaní procesu jednobodového inkrementálního tváření i krátký popis CAD / CAM vývoje tří testovacích modelů. Poté jsou popsány v samostatné kapitole výsledky pozorování a analýzy hlavních parametrů procesů, které ovlivňují tvařitelnostní limity v jednobodovém inkrementálním tváření v souvislosti s aplikovaným teoretickým rámcem. Výsledky experimentů z časti objasňují probíhající mezinárodní diskusi kolem tvářitelnosti mechanismu jednobodového inkrementálního tváření vzhledem k tradičním metodám tváření. Jako logické pokračování prováděných experimentů, byla práce rozšířena na více-stupňové jednobodové inkrementální tváření, které umožňuje tváření součástek (kalíšku) se svislými stěnami ve více krocích. Za účelem objasnění procesů spojených s tímhle procesem byly navrženy a ve čtyřech krocích vyrobeny dva experimentální modely. Hlavním přínosem této práce k více-stupňovému jednobodovému inkrementálnímu tváření byla úspěšná výroba součásti s nekruhovým průřezem a kolmými stěnami. S cílem aplikovat celkové znalosti získáných v předchozích částí práce byla vyrobena prototypová součást. Popis designu a vývoje prototypu je součástí práce. V neposlední řadě jsou celkové závěry uvedené v poslední kapitole. Předpokládá se, že tato práce přizpívá k lepšímu pochopení mechanismu jednobodového inkrementálního tváření.

artistic development started when she began studying dance and continued to
mimic and physical theater. Material presents her contribution to
contemporary Czech scene physical theater and refers to her international
success. Work observes her role like co-founder of physical theaters Theatro
Pantomissimo and Spitfire Company and to presents the work of these
physical theaters and reveals the working and teaching methods in the
preparation of copyright performances.

To the analysis of linear and nonlinear damping in gearing systems with impacts

The point of contribution consists in the analysis of linear and nonlinear – cubic - damping influence on the dynamic properties of the specific case of pseudoplanetary system with split power flow. The damping in the area of tooth backlash in the course of tooth face contact loss and consecutive contact with impact is assumed zero. The results of solution are illustrated in 3D space in the form of the phase planes of relative motion in gear mesh in relation to the given damping.

Ontology of the work of art in Jan Patočka

In this dissertation the author attempts to refer to the issue of the ontology of a work of art based on the philosophy of Jan Patočka. The character of the first chapter is something akin to a preparation stage. Here the author uses Patočka's original concept of the issue of the natural world to prepare space in which to outline the philosophical development of Jan Patočka with emphasis on his demarcation of the overall movement of human life, which consists of three fundamental movements, of which the third movement of truth as human transcendence is movement that characterises not only human existence, but the essential determination of a work of art. The final section documents the historical variability of the truth of a work of art and defines experiences from a work of art based on Patočka's contributions to the issue of art and individual artistic types.

Obesity and its hand-in- hand insulin resistance in recent decades become the most common diseases in the world. The increase in the incidence of obesity and metabolic syndrome is a worldwide public health-care and clinical problem . what is worse , obese people every day constantly increasing enormously and gets so nature of the global epidemic . The increasing incidence of obesity is related to the take-over American lifestyle . People today spend their time watching television and especially in their offices, eat fast foods and instead of moving to carry in cars. this way of life passed on to their children , and so today we observe a significant increase in obesity even in the youngest age groups. These children have unfortunately increased chance of staying obese in adulthood. The world today is 1.1 billion adults are overweight or obese and these are about 320 million people obese ( BMI > 30). Different regions of the world differ significantly with regard to the prevalence of obesity. More and more , however, to global epidemic of obesity contributes to the developing world . Product of Tourism portfolio for the seniors in Strakonice destination

The aim of this work was to evaluate the primary and secondary offer of tourism products in Strakonice. Analyse segment of seniors, to evaluate the level of service of tourism in Strakonice and propose measures to improve the situation. Primary and secondary data served to analyse the current state of Strakonice. Primary data were obtained from the survey, which results are in this work. The analysis segment of seniors was also obtained by survey. The research results are summarized in the synthesis of the results and findings. Measures were proposed based on the survey results that would contribute to the development of tourism in Strakonice. To improve the current situation, it is suggested editing centers for the elderly, namely to build a barrier-less access via mobile stair chair and a new promotional banner. It is suggested wheelchair access and greater number of secure benches at the bus station in Strakonice. The latest proposal concerns the purchase of electric bikes.

Contribution to senior education

Aim of the Contribution to Senior Education is to create possible framework for understanding this area of Adult Education. Theses characterize categories of age and aging, changes in role of senior in historical point of view, defines senior and agieng throug W orld Health Organization conception, sociological theories and gender aspects of ageing. It describes psychic chances in old age and its consequences to senior education. Age mainstreaming strategy help to create certain demands on senior education. There are examples of education activities that are commonly run in the Czech Republic. The contribution of this theses is to broaden view on senior education and overcome stereotyphical understanding of old age as loss of programme.enior education seems to be very important, thanks to demographic changes and its importance will grow. Therefore it is considerable to know possibilities and limits of senior education and offer adequate education activity.
