Evaluation and motivation in public administration

The theme of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation and motivation of employees in public administration. The introductory part outlines the evaluation and motivation of employees on a general level, and then describes the specifics applicable for public administration. The practical part is focused on the evaluation and motivation systems used at selected institutions of public administration. It aims to assess these systems, suggest possible recommendations and find out whether the systems in use include modern management methods, such as evaluation interviews, competency models and regular system of employee evaluation as such. The research method consisted of interviews with human resources managers at selected institutions of public administration. Complementary information was obtained from materials created by these institutions themselves. All institutions of public administration are governed by Act No. 234/2014 Coll. on Civil Service, enshrining the evaluation of state employees. However, it depends on whether employees are evaluated formally, or if additional evaluation tools beyond the framework of the law are deployed, e.g. competency models. Officials of territorial authorities are subject to Act No. 312/2002 Coll., which does not explicitly define employee evaluation, yet employees are evaluated at many regional as well as local administration units. The results of the research survey confirmed that modern management methods are used in public administration and that the evaluation systems do not have any significant shortcomings.

Crisis Intervention as a Form How to Help the Students SPŠ Tachov

This work describes and values the possibility of using the crisis intervention at school. The teacher is also a worker of helping profession. We solve the social dilemma of students with the help of the crisis intervention. The social dilemma is about students ́ matters at school, home and their private life. In the theoretic part there is a term "crises", there are reasons, types of crises and style of dealing with the crises. There is also the way how to solve the crises and there are also some basic forms of the skilled crisis intervention. In the part called crisis intervention there is the term "crisis intervention" and there are its important principles. Than the work is focused on process of the crisis intervention, it describes the worker of the crisis intervention and specification of the work at schools. Influence of social politics on fertility rate in specific regions of Czech republic

Thesis is focused on relationship between fertility rate and tools of state support. The goal is to reveal relationship between these two factors. Partial goal is to discover specific effects of tools of state support in specific regions of Czech republic. I have aimed on research at national level and also specific regions between years 1993-2014. In order to find these relationships I used method that compares differences in development of the fertility rate. After that, I set up regression model solved by method called fixed effects. For specific regions analysis was used OLS method. Model was able to explain more than 80 % of variability. This results can be used for predicting of citizens behavior, when some changes in family allowances occurs. Main finding is, that most motivating tools are parenting allowances and child benefits.

Specifics of Marketing Communication Targeted on Seniors and Unfair Practices Against Them

This master thesis "Specifics of Marketing Communication Targeted on Seniors and Unfair Practices Against Them" aims to familiarize the reader with the ways and coercive methods by which traders force seniors to buy overpriced goods or services during the selling events or doorstep sales. Another aim is to identify the reasons that lead elderly to attend sales events, or use the services of door-to-door seller. Next, I will try to make recommendations to public authorities and elderly how to prevent unfair trade practices. The thesis also deals with legal regulations, the demographic situation and development, and manipulation.

Personal experiences of teenagers with drug

This bachelor's work is focused on teenager's drugs experience and shows current situation in some selected secondary schools in Prague. It compares student's attitude and experience among gymnasium and secondary practice school with most common addictive substances, such as cigarettes, alcohol and marijuana. This work investigates extent of compatibility addictive substances with studies, parenthood and career. Theoretical part look into the cause of drug abuse, risks which follow from addicted behavior and juvenile crime in connection with drug abuse. There is summary of specific effects of addictive substances on teenagers and particular stages of the dependency progress. At the end of the theoretical part of this work you will find way of prevention and the official Czech Republic anti-drug strategy. This work is highlighting that drugs are very serious global problem of our today's world, and warning against the dangerous way of underestimation of drug abuse across all society. Content Marketing for Lead Generation in B2B Educational and Consulting Services

The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the issue of content marketing for generating leads and information about potential customers, then to analyze and offer some recommendations for its further use among B2B suppliers of educational and consulting services. The theoretical part discusses three key topics: the specifics of the services and B2B sector; content marketing and the reasons for its inclusion in marketing strategy; and the issue of lead generation as a possible metric of content marketing and sales tool. The practical part of the thesis approaches this topic from the perspective of four representatives of service suppliers, complemented by a point of view of the mediate company IVITERA. This company brings together one of the largest B2B communities in the services sector on the Czech market within its (especially online) media projects. Research was conducted through individual interviews with representatives of all five companies and by an analysis of secondary data, leads and keywords provided by the mediate company.

The international law position of child soldiers

This work is devoted to international law, particularly humanitarian law and human rights with emphasis on international legal instruments governing the position of children serving in the armed forces. In this work are discussed various international conventions, as well as mechanisms for the protection of child soldiers. The first chapter defines the position of child soldiers and the specifics of their involvement in military conflicts. The decisive criteria for the involvement of children in government armed forces or non-state army is age. Furthermore there is described into more details the mechanism of conscription into the army. There is difference between voluntary and forced recruitment of child soldiers. The various international legal instruments are analyzed more in detail in chapter two. The issue of Child soldiers is addressed with both the rules of humanitarian law, specifically the Additional Protocols to the Geneva Conventions and Human rights conventions. Special attention is paid to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict. Insurance of employment agencies on the Czech insurance market

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the insurance of employment agencies against bankruptcy, reasons for its implementation and its development since 2011. The first part deals with characteristics of employment agencies, which are getting more and more attention in the Czech Republic. It focuses on specific features of its activity compared with other business entities and explains the essence of agency employment. The second part focuses on guarantee insurance. It describes general characteristic of guarantee insurance and specific kinds of this insurance product, which we can find on the Czech insurance market. It distinguishes the voluntary and obligatory guarantee insurance. There are two kinds of obligatory guarantee insurance on the Czech insurance market -- insurance of employment agencies against bankruptcy and insurance of travel agencies against bankruptcy, which exist here since 2000.
